WHEEL HUB, SYSTEM CONSISTING OF A BRAKE DISK AND A WHEEL HUB, AND A METHOD FOR MOUNTING A BRAKE DISK ON A WHEEL HUB
A wheel hub includes an outer collar region, as seen in the radial direction, and an inner core region, as seen in the radial direction, wherein, as seen in the axial direction, the inner core region is thicker than the outer collar region, and wherein, in the inner core region, the wheel hub has a substantially axially running primary recess for the connection of a brake disk.
Single-point reinforcing structure for spoke of bicycle rim
The present invention provides a single-point reinforcing structure for spoke of bicycle rim which includes a left side wall and a right side wall continuously extending along a circumferential direction of the bicycle rim. The left side wall and right side wall are formed at the left side and the right side of the bicycle rim respectively and are symmetrical to each other. A surface of the left side wall and a surface of the right side wall opposite to each other are connected through a connecting wall. The upper ends of the left side wall and the right side wall extend upward toward a direction close to a symmetry axis and are connected. The left side wall, the right side wall, and the connecting wall are surrounded to form an upper cavity of the bicycle rim. A plurality of connecting holes are arranged on the upper cavity.
Smart bicycle wheel sensor system
A bicycle wheel sensor is provided and includes a housing configured to be at least partially disposed within a tire of a bicycle wheel. The sensor may be mounted opposite a valve stem location to help balance the bicycle wheel. The bicycle wheel sensor has one or more sensors exposed to the inside of the tire and is configured to provide data obtained from within the tire. The sensor includes an electronic control unit that receives the data from the sensors and transmits the data to a user device via a transceiver.
Locomotive sanding system
A locomotive sanding system is described for conveying sand from a sand tower to a sand box mounted on a locomotive. The invention is designed to prevent personnel from being subjected to sand and sand dust during the sand box being filled with sand from the sand tower. The system includes a universal sealing nozzle which may be used with the locomotive sanding system or other devices. The universal sealing nozzle includes an expansion seal extending therearound which may be moved from a retracted position to an expanded position. When the nozzle is inserted into the fill pipe of the sand box, the expansion seal is expanded to sealably engage the inside surface of the fill pipe.
WHEEL WITH SPHERICAL RIM
Disclosed is a wheel having a sphere at the hub of the rim which can rotate in all directions by the ball bearing it is supported by, wherein the sphere is produced from various metals, carbon fibre, etc. material. The wheel helps to prevent vehicles from skidding off tracks at turns even at high speeds or to prevent accidents that may occur as a result of swiping of vehicles with each other particularly during competitive racing.
Smart wheel system implementing a self-repairing tire apparatus
A new system a comprising a balanced belt that forms a ring around a wheel rim and enables smart wheel functionalities as positioning, sensing, actuation and communication hub is presented. The belt can be implemented as a removable apparatus locked around the wheel rim or as an integrate apparatus embedded in the wheel rim by a proper wheel rim manufacturing modification. The belt contains a tank filled with a sealing foam, which, in the event of a punctured tire, can be expelled out of the tank and injected into the inner part of the tire to repair the hole. With respect to the state-of-the-art systems, the proposed self-repairing tire solution, allows to avoid the cumbersome manual tire repairing operations, to save driver stress and time and to enhance car safety. Moreover, the proposed apparatus, by preserving punctured tire damaging, is very cost-effective respect to competitor solutions and contributes to carbon dioxide emission reduction. Finally, the proposed system is easy assembling, adaptable to different wheel rim sizes and reusable in case of car replacement.
AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR ASSEMBLY
An aircraft landing gear bogie beam including first and second ends and a mounting bearing for connection to an aircraft landing gear main strut between the ends. Each end has a respective axle, and each axle defines a wheel mounting portion on each side of the bogie beam. The bogie beam is arranged to enable the first and second axles to each pivot relative to the bearing about a respective longitudinal axis of the bogie beam by an amount that is sufficient to place a wheel rim of a wheel assembly in contact with the ground in the event of a tyre of the wheel assembly deflating.
Magnetic Braking and Speed Control System for Walker
Systems and methods for an improved walker are provided. The inventive walker allows for greater control over the speed of the walker. More specifically, wheels having specific characteristics may be used to control the speed of rotation of the wheels. For instance, the wheel may include an inner wheel assembly including a coil or coils, and an outer wheel assembly including a magnet or magnets. A magnetic field may be created using current through the coils, which in turn limits the speed with which the outer wheel assembly can be rotated relative to the inner wheel assembly. The present invention also includes a control system used to control the speed and other characteristics of the walker. The present invention may also collect associated data and display of the same which can help determine future activities associated with the walker.
Aircraft landing gear assembly

Each end has a respective axle, and each axle defines a wheel mounting portion on each side of the bogie beam. The bogie beam is arranged to enable the first and second axles to each pivot relative to the bearing about a respective longitudinal axis of the bogie beam by an amount that is sufficient to place a wheel rim of a wheel assembly in contact with the ground in the event of a tyre of the wheel assembly deflating.
SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING CONTROL PRESSURES AND/OR WORKING PRESSURES
A system (40) for transmitting control pressures and/or working pressures from a wheel-hub pressure medium supply (20, 21, 22), in particular from a wheel-hub pressure medium rotary union (21), to a vehicle rim (2) mounted on the wheel hub (1). The system (40) has a receiving part (41), which has a central region (55) with a central opening (44) and at least one extension region (43) projecting radially from the central region (55), at least in some regions. The receiving part (41) can be connected to the wheel hub (1) by means of the at least one radially projecting extension region (43), in a detachable way, and the control pressures and/or working pressures can be transmitted from the wheel-hub pressure medium supply (20, 21, 22) to the opening (44).
