Bag packaging mechanism for mushroom cultivation

The present invention discloses a bag packing mechanism for mushroom cultivation, which comprises two clamping seats, transport means, air duct, pumping means and push rod. Transport means supply collar. Air duct descends through the collar and extends into a bag from the opening of the bag, the two clamping seats clamp the top portion of the bag to close to the outer periphery of the air duct, the pumping means sucks the top portion, the two clamping seats open, the push rod is lowered to push down the collar to put on the top portion, the pumping means blow to open the top portion, the push rod is further lowered to fold the top portion down, the air duct and putter rise, and then complete the automation of packaging job.

System and method for continuous growth of fungal material
12012577 · 2024-06-18 · ·

A system and method adapted for continuous growth and harvesting of fungal fruiting bodies. The system includes a growth chamber, one or more mycelium feed assemblies, a nutrient reservoir with liquid media, one or more environmental controls to control an environment within the growth chamber and of the liquid media within the nutrient reservoir. One or more mycelium feed assemblies are arranged within the growth chamber. Each of the one or more mycelium feed assemblies includes a nutrient supply member and a mycelium colony which grows around the nutrient supply member, that continuously supplies liquid media to the mycelium colony. The method includes starting one or more mycelium colonies on the nutrient supply member, establishing that a mature colony has formed, and then maintaining the mature mycelium colony by continuous delivery of liquid medium to the mycelium colony, thus allowing for contiguous generation and harvesting of fungal fruiting bodies.

Techniques for generating high-yield fungi production are disclosed. In one particular embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a system for generating high-yield fungi production, the system comprising at least one modular container and a growing system housed within the modular container. The growing system may include a substrate preparation system configured to accept substrate and prepare substrate for pasteurization, a pasteurization system configured to pasteurize prepared substrate received from the substrate preparation system, a draining, cooling, and packing system configured to cool and drain pasteurized prepared substrate from the pasteurization system and to pack pasteurized and cooled substrate into at least one growing container, an inoculation system configured to inoculate the pasteurized and cooled substrate, and a plurality of vertical racks coupled to a ceiling of the modular container and configured to hold the at least one growing container.

METHOD OF GENERATING MULTIFUNCTIONAL MYCELIUM PRODUCTS

A method of generating multifunctional mycelium products (thread, foam, films, gels and liquids) derived from biodegraded waste and fungi includes inoculating a carbon-containing substrate with fungi; growing the fungi to form a mature mycelium; separating the mycelium from the carbon-containing substrate; and drying the mature mycelium. The mycelium is either injected into a mold and expanded, fermented to produce a liquid, or blended with water and gelling agents to form a hydrogel. The products sequester carbon and inherently combat pathogens, notably MRSA. Further augmented with synthetic enzyme substrates, the products offer bacterial detection. A standout feature is their capacity to hold and release therapeutic agents, diversifying their use from sustainable textiles to skincare, wound healing, and precise drug delivery.

METHOD OF PRODUCING MUSHROOMS

Disclosed is a chemical-physical method of producing mushrooms enriched with biologically active substances including steps of isolation and pre-seeding development of the mycelium of a desired fungal species, maturation of the substrate, mycelium sowing and incubation with development of fungal primordia under conditions controlled and assisted by machines and processors designed to adjust temperature, humidity and radiation, development of carpophores, their collection and treatment with pulsed light in order to stimulate the production of vitamin D2. Physical treatment includes exposing the environment to electromagnetic fields (EMF) during all the previous steps the collection, and chemical treatment includes adding the substrate with egg powder. After the mycelium sowing, the substrate is enriched with inorganic trace elements, with a result of obtaining officinal mushrooms that are provided with therapeutic capacities in particular in oncology field and, in general, adapted to counter cell degeneration in a variety of diseases.
