INTEGRATED CONTROLLER WITH SENSORS FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL BIASING MEMBER
An electromechanical biasing member for moving a closure panel between an open and a closed position relative to a motor vehicle body is provided. The electromechanical biasing member includes a housing having an inner cavity for housing an electric motor having a motor shaft and a rotary output member rotatable relative to the housing. An extension member within the housing and engageable with the rotary output member moves the closure panel between the open and closed positions in response to driving the electric motor. Also provided is a control unit positioned within the inner cavity and configured to drive the electric motor, the control unit including at least one controller board juxtaposed to the electric motor, and a plurality of control components mounted to the at least one controller board and configured to supply a drive signal to the electric motor and receive signals representative of operation of the electric motor.
RAMP DOOR PATIO DECK SYSTEM
A recreational vehicle (RV) includes a ramp door configurable as a ramp or as a patio deck. A stair is attachable to a side of the door. A railing extends about the perimeter of the door when in the deck configuration. First and second support cables may be connected between the door and the RV to support the door when in the deck configuration.
RESIN BACK DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A resin back door for a vehicle includes a resin inner panel, a resin lower outer panel, a metal left reinforcing member, and a damper stay bracket. The metal left reinforcing member is disposed in a hollow space defined by the inner panel and the lower outer panel, and is fixed to the inner panel with an adhesive leaving a gap. The damper stay bracket is attached on an outer side of the inner panel in a vehicle width direction. In the resin back door for a vehicle, the damper stay bracket is fastened to the left reinforcing member across a collar having one end inserted into a hole provided in the inner panel.
RESIN BACK DOOR FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A resin back door includes a resin inner panel, a resin lower outer panel, and a metal reinforcing member disposed in a hollow space defined by the inner panel and the lower outer panel. In the resin back door, the reinforcing member has an annular shape extending along an outer peripheral edge of the inner panel, and includes right and left reinforcing members and a lower-side reinforcing member which are separated from each other and fixed to the inner panel with an adhesive leaving a gap. The reinforcing members are connected by using right and left corner connecting members and an upper connecting member to constitute the reinforcing member.
VEHICLE PANEL MOUNTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A vehicle panel mounting jig includes a first block assembly having a first arm extending substantially perpendicularly at a first mounting jig end, and a second block assembly having a second arm extending substantially perpendicularly at a second mounting jig end and also an opening defined within an inside second block end wherein an inside first block end of the first block assembly is configured for placement therein. The first block assembly and the second block assembly are coupled with an internal tension device. Each of the first arm and the second arm may include a notch formed on an inside radius, and one of the block assemblies may include a handle extending at either the first mounting jig end or the second mounting jig end.
Airbag assembly for liftgate
A vehicle includes a vehicle roof and a liftgate. The liftgate has a first end elongated along and adjacent to the vehicle roof and rotatably connected to the vehicle roof. The liftgate has a second end and a third end spaced from each other. The second end and the third end each extend from the first end away from the vehicle roof. An airbag is supported by the liftgate. The airbag includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment is elongated along the first end and the second segment is elongated along the second end.
Tailgate handle
A handle assembly for opening and closing a vehicle door wherein the handle assembly includes: a recess in an exterior surface of the vehicle door; a cover over the recess wherein the cover is coupled to the vehicle door and is moveable between an open position and a closed position; and a handle member coupled to the cover and retained in the recess when the cover is in the closed position and released from the recess when the cover is in the open position.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle is provided with a luggage compartment opening arranged at the rear of a body of the motor vehicle, and a tailgate arranged pivotably on the body and in a closed position closes the luggage compartment opening and in an open position at least partially opens the luggage compartment opening. In order to provide a motor vehicle with a luggage compartment of variable size, the motor vehicle comprises a cover attached to a vehicle portion of the motor vehicle adjacent to the luggage compartment opening and/or defining the luggage compartment opening, and which is made of a flexible material and is configured and arranged such that, in the open position of the tailgate or by pivoting of the tailgate into the open position, it can be transferred from a compact rest state into an extended function state.
