Construction for securing a trim strip
The present disclosure may reduce the risk of a trim strip coming off a sealing member. A sealing member 30 includes a trim strip securing groove 38 opening toward an outside of a compartment so that a securing leg 47 of a trim strip 45 is inserted into the trim strip securing groove 38. The sealing member 30 is provided with a core 43 including an engagement protruding portion 43d protruding toward the inside of the trim strip securing groove 38. Inserted into the trim strip securing groove 38, the securing leg 47 of the trim strip 45 engages with the engagement protruding portion 43d.

A glass run includes an installation member and a body. The installation member couples to a frame of a door of an automobile. The body forms a channel to receive a door glass. An outer-cabin side of the installation member is extended in a direction away from the door to form an extended part. A base composed of hard resin higher in rigidity than the extended part attaches a decorative film to the extended part. The decorative film alongside of the base is bent toward an interior of the automobile, to cover an end surface of the extended part. Parts of upper and lower ends of the decorative film are removed by predetermined distance FL1, FL2 from the end surface of the extended part, to reduce a width in an upper and lower direction of a remainder part of the decorative film.

Assembly for fixing and positioning decorative profiles of a vehicle door
An assembly is provided for fixing and positioning a decorative side profile and a decorative upper profile on the outside of a front or rear door of a motor vehicle, wherein the decorative upper profile includes two longitudinal rims curved towards each other. The assembly includes a trim profile for the doorframe and a sealing profile made of deformable material, fixed to the trim profile, and on which the decorative upper profile is fixed. A blocking part made of rigid material is fixed on the trim profile, and includes a portion for fixing the decorative side profile, a portion for axially and transversely blocking the decorative upper profile and a connecting portion between these two portions. The blocking portion includes an axial groove for receiving a section of one of the rims of the upper profile, which is obturated at one of its ends by an axial stop which cooperates with the upper profile received in this groove, to block the axial displacement of the upper profile.
