Fuel container
The invention relates to a fuel container (1) of thermoplastic plastics material having an upper base (2) and a lower base (3) which are supported against each other by means of at least one column-like support element (4), wherein the support element (4) is connected in a positive-locking manner and/or materially engaging manner to a wall (6) of the upper base on the one hand and to a wall (6) of the lower base on the other hand in such a manner that it can absorb tensile forces and/or pressure forces, wherein the support element (4) is constructed in several pieces and the support element is divided longitudinally and comprises at least two segments (8) which complement each other in cross-section and which form a common support face at the end side.
MOTOR VEHICLE TANK SUBASSEMBLY AND WITHDRAWAL MODULE HAVING A POROUS CONVEYING BODY
A motor vehicle tank subassembly for storing and discharging an operating liquid, encompassing a tank having a tank volume, a filling opening a withdrawal opening, and a conveying pump having intake and delivery sides, the intake side connected to the withdrawal opening, a material that forms a pore volume being received in the tank; the material that forms a pore volume, constituting a porous conveying body having a body volume, occupies only part of the tank volume, the porous conveying body embodied to receive liquid stored in the tank in its pore volume utilizing a capillary effect; the porous conveying body having a discharge portion connected to the withdrawal opening such that the withdrawal vacuum at the withdrawal opening brings about in pores of the discharge portion a discharge vacuum that overcomes the capillary effect occurring there; the remainder of the porous conveying body extending away from the discharge portion and the withdrawal opening.
FUEL FILLING DEVICE
A fuel filler device that includes a flow conduction device arranged in a filler line and configured such that during a filling, an outlet pipe of a pump nozzle is guided and supported therein, and an attachment connected to the flow conduction device. The attachment includes a first attachment end, a second attachment end, and a constriction extending between the first attachment end and the second attachment end such that the attachment tapers from the first attachment end to the second attachment end via the constriction. At least one first gap is formed between the first attachment end and the flow conduction device so that during a filling sequence, fuel vapour introduced into the fuel filler device may flow through the at least one first gap into the filler line in a direction of a fuel tank connected to the filler line.
Tank for transporting liquids
A tank for transporting a liquid is disclosed. In some implementations, the tank includes a carrier having a plurality of compartments, each compartment of the plurality of compartments having an opening for containing one or more baffles. In some implementations, the tank includes a plurality of posts that are securable relative to the tank and configured to support the one or more baffles. In some implementations, the posts are removed from the tank to facilitate installation of the baffles. In some implementations, the posts are rotatable to facilitate installation of the baffles. In some implementations, the tank is a two-piece tank which facilitates access to the one or more baffles.
Plastic tank for motor vehicles having at least one reinforcing structure
A plastic container for a motor vehicle having a container wall delimiting a container interior, and having at least one stiffening structure which is connected to the container wall in a planar manner. A border of the stiffening structure has at least two mutually identical edge profiles between two points located on the border. Further, the border, at least in sections along its longitudinal extension, in the region of each of the edge profiles, is at a distance from a direct connecting line connecting the two points.
GRID-SHAPED FUEL TANK
Disclosed is a grid-shaped fuel tank, which belongs to the field of vehicle parts. The grid-shaped fuel tank includes a fuel tank shell, wherein the fuel tank shell encloses a cavity comprising a fuel cavity, and the fuel tank shell comprises an upper shell area in an upper portion, a middle shell area in a middle portion and a lower shell area in a lower portion; the cavity is internally provided with a middle grid rib structure corresponding to a height area of a middle shell, the middle grid rib structure partitions a middle portion of the cavity into a plurality of middle grid cavities, the middle grid cavities do not communicate in a radial direction, and a bottom end of a first middle grid cavity group comprised in the middle grid cavities is provided with fuel passing ports for mutual communication to form the fuel cavity.
UREA TANK AND FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a urea tank and fuel tank assembly, which belongs to the field of automobile parts. The urea tank and fuel tank assembly includes a shell, wherein the shell includes an upper shell, a middle shell and a lower shell, the upper shell, the middle shell and the lower shell are welded separately to form a cavity including a fuel cavity. The urea tank and fuel tank assembly is welded after injection molding, so that not only is the shell uniform in wall thickness and high in mechanical strength, but also the welding stress is dispersed to the upper and lower ends of the shell by setting that the upper shell, the middle shell and the lower shell are welded separately, on the one hand, the stress concentration of the welded part of the shell is reduced and the cracking of the welded part is avoided.
VEHICLE TANK
A motor vehicle tank comprises a main tank that includes at least one main extraction unit that has a main flow line for extracting fuel from the main tank; an auxiliary tank arranged adjacent to and connected with the main tank, the auxiliary tank including: an auxiliary extraction unit having an auxiliary flow line for extraction of fuel from the auxiliary tank, and a filler connection for direct filling of the auxiliary tank; a partition wall which separates the auxiliary tank from the main tank by a partition wall, the partition wall having a lower partition wall region without an opening in an installation position, and an upper partition wall region having at least one opening to form an overflow between the auxiliary tank and the main tank.
MULTI-VESSEL RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY
A multi-vessel reservoir assembly is provided. The multi-vessel reservoir assembly comprises a first fluid vessel, a second fluid vessel, and at least one linkage positioned between the first and second fluid vessels. The at least one linkage serves to maintain the first and second fluid vessels in fixed and spaced-apart relationship relative to one another. The first and second fluid vessels are independent and separately operable.
Fluid Load Stabiliser
A liquid tank including an internal network of cells. The cells are configured such that in use, movement of liquid between adjacent cells of the network of cells is prevented or retarded such that under conditions of liquid movement within the tank, kinetic energy transferred from the liquid to the tank wall is reduced as compared with the case where no cells are present. The tank is useful in the context of road tankers, for example, and can lessen the chance or completely prevent the vehicle from overturning on a corner due to shifting of the liquid load carried.
