A counter-piece is arranged to lay flat against the inside of the tank wall around the opening. The connection nipple is connected by screw connection or clip connection to the counter-piece. A seal is arranged around the opening between the outside of the tank wall and a sealing face of the connection nipple that faces the outside of the tank wall.
Capless refill adapter for a fluid refilling system
Methods and systems are provided for an adapter for a fluid refilling system. In one example, an adapter configured for use with a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) system may include a first end configured to couple with a DEF refill passage, a second end including an aperture shaped to receive a DEF nozzle, a pivotable door closing the aperture and biased against the aperture by a biasing member, and a magnetic ring positioned within the adapter and downstream of the pivotable door. The pivotable door may be formed of a material permeable to DEF vapors and may include a plurality of vent holes configured to flow vapors from the DEF system to atmosphere.
VENTILATION FLOW RATE REGULATOR FOR A PRESSURIZED VEHICLE TANK
The invention relates to a ventilation flow rate regulator (1) for a pressurized vehicle tank (4), which comprises a plunger (10) adapted to be mounted in a ventilation line (7). The plunger (10) has at least one peripheral orifice (111) and at least one non-central internal orifice (112) which is closer to an axis of symmetry (A) of the plunger (10 than the peripheral orifice (111). The non-central internal orifice (112) has a section perpendicular to the axis of symmetry (A) which is smaller than any section of the peripheral orifice (111) perpendicular to the axis of symmetry (A).
CHECK VALVE FOR FUEL TANK AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
There is provided a check valve for a fuel tank, including a cover to be welded to the fuel tank, a case welded to the cover and having a discharge port configured to discharge fuel into the fuel tank, and a valve body configured to open and close the discharge port. The cover includes a positioning portion on an outer circumferential surface. The case includes a vent hole which is arranged upward in a circumferential direction of the case when the check valve is mounted on the fuel tank, and a valve body supporting portion which supports the valve body inside the case. The valve body supporting portion includes a selecting portion for positioning the vent hole, which is provided on a discharge port side at a position away from the positioning portion by a predetermined angle in the circumferential direction of the case.
LIQUID TRAP DRAIN PUMP
A pump assembly for a liquid trap of a vehicle fuel tank assembly includes a pump configured to couple to the liquid trap and selectively drain liquid therefrom, a sensor configured to monitor an inductive signature of the pump, and a controller programmed to operate the pump and monitor the inductive signature to determine if liquid is present in the liquid trap based on the monitored inductive signature.
Fuel supply device
A fuel supply device (FS) includes a filler neck (10) that includes a nozzle guiding path that guides a fuel supply nozzle (FN), and a fuel passage that is continuous to the nozzle guiding path on a downstream side of the fuel passage, through which fuel that has been discharged from the fuel supply nozzle (FN) passes; a fuel vapor port (23) located outside of the filler neck (10) that has a through hole (23H) that communicates with the fuel passage (11Pd); and a vapor introduction body (70) that guides the fuel vapor from the fuel vapor port to the fuel passage (11Pd). The vapor introduction body (70) includes a within-through-hole support (71) that is inserted into and held in the through hole (23H), and includes a vapor passage (71a) along the through hole (23H), and a changing member (72) that faces an opening of the vapor passage (71a) on a side of the fuel passage (11Pd), and is configured to change a direction of flow of the fuel vapor that passes through the vapor passage (71a) to the side of the fuel passage (71a). The vicinity of the fuel vapor port in the filler neck is configured compactly.
Fuel return device
A fuel return device includes a fuel collector and a return system. The fuel collector is located in a passage between a fuel tank and a vapor fuel processing device that processes vapor fuel discharged from the fuel tank. The fuel collector collects the fuel and stores the collected fuel as a storage fuel. The return system extends from the fuel collector, and is connected to a low-pressure generation part that generates a low pressure by a flow of fuel refueled through a filler pipe into the fuel tank, to return the storage fuel to the fuel tank.
Opening/closing apparatus for fuel tank
An opening/closing apparatus for a fuel tank of a vehicle includes: a fuel passage forming portion forming a fuel passage guiding a liquid fuel to the fuel tank; an insertion-side opening/closing valve mechanism opening and closing a filler port of the fuel passage; a liquid discharge path allowing an internal region of the fuel passage forming portion to communicate with the outside through a liquid discharge port formed in a portion of the fuel passage forming portion, the portion closer to the fuel tank than the insertion-side opening/closing valve mechanism; an opening/closing valve mechanism opening and closing the liquid discharge port by a valve body; and a valve body regulating mechanism regulating the valve body to close the liquid discharge port when the insertion-side opening/closing valve mechanism opens the filler port.
FUEL STORAGE DEVICE
A fuel storage device is adapted to be mounted to a vehicle, and has a tank, a pump, a fuel tube, a plurality of connecting tubes, and a vent hole. The tank has a top wall formed with a plurality of vent holes . At least one of the vent holes is arranged at a side of a first imaginary line which extends through a reference point of the top wall and which is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and at least one of the remaining of the vent holes is arranged at an opposite side of the first imaginary line.
