Draining fuel nozzle-receiving assembly
A fuel nozzle-receiving assembly may include a main housing having an inlet configured to receive a fuel nozzle, a drain opening formed through a portion of the main housing, and a drain cover configured to be moved between a plugged position in which the drain opening is closed, and an unplugged position in which the drain opening is opened. The drain cover is configured to be in the plugged position when the fuel nozzle is inserted into the inlet so that any leaked fuel passes into the inlet.
Fuel inlet
A fuel inlet includes: an inlet pipe to form a path to guide fuel to a fuel tank; a breather tube to form a path to guide vapor in the fuel tank toward a distal end portion of the inlet pipe; and a retainer provided at a distal end portion of the inlet pipe and including: an attachment and detachment mechanism to attach and detach a fuel filler cap; a restriction mechanism to restrict a distal end position of a fuel filling gun; and an air vent hole to allow passage of the vapor supplied from the breather tube toward the distal end portion of the inlet pipe. The retainer includes a first component including the attachment and detachment mechanism and a second component secured to the first component and including the restriction mechanism. The air vent hole is a gap formed between the first component and the second component.
Blow Molded Thermoplastic Composition
Components formed of blow molded thermoplastic compositions are described. The blow molded thermoplastic compositions exhibit high strength and flexibility. Methods for forming the thermoplastic compositions are also described. Formation methods include dynamic vulcanization of a composition that includes an impact modifier dispersed throughout a polyarylene sulfide. A crosslinking agent is combined with the other components of the composition following dispersal of the impact modifier. The crosslinking agent reacts with the impact modifier to form crosslinks within and among the polymer chains of the impact modifier. The compositions can exhibit excellent physical characteristics at extreme temperatures and can be used to form, e.g., tubular member such as pipes and hoses and fibers.
TANK FILLER TUBE
A tank filler tube includes a fill tube line which features, in the tank assembled state, an inlet end further from the tank, which is designed for temporary insertion of the fill nozzle into a closer-to-the-tank insertion region of the fill tube line, and with a closer-to-the-tank transit line end in the tank assembled state, which is designed for transit of liquid in a direction of the liquid transit line leading away from the inlet end, wherein the fill tube line is of multi-part design. At least one part of the ventilation line is for venting the gas displaced during a filling of a tank into the atmosphere. The fill tube line section featuring the transit line end extends into the insertion region further from the tank and is designed to accommodate at least one outlet end of a fill nozzle during a filling of a tank.
FUEL TANK LID AND FUEL PUMP MODULE HAVING THE SAME
A fuel tank lid includes a lid part and a terminal. The lid part includes an inserted part inserted into an opening of a fuel tank, and a storage part storing a drive circuit. The terminal has a central portion covered by the inserted part and the storage part, a first end connected to a pump, and a second end connected to the drive circuit. The storage part includes a side wall that has a first opening and a second opening, an upper closure part that closes the first opening, and a lower closure part that closes the second opening. The fuel tank lid further includes a discharge structure positioned vertically lower than the upper closure part and discharging a fuel vapor that has travelled along an interface between the terminal and the lid part and entered a hollow space of the storage part, to an external atmosphere.
Tank ventilation device for a motor vehicle
A tank ventilation device for a motor vehicle includes a ventilation line, connected on one side to an accumulator for gaseous hydrocarbons and connected on another side via a connection to a filling tube for filling a tank of the motor vehicle, wherein the ventilation line is connected to the tank so that gaseous hydrocarbons which are displaced during refueling are re-circulated toward the connection via the ventilation line, a device for applying a pressure on the ventilation line for carrying out a leakage test of the tank ventilation device, when the filling tube is closed with a closure device, and a float body provided in a region of the connection of the ventilation line to the filing tube for preventing entering of liquid fuel into the ventilation line.
FILLER NECK HOUSING OR CHARGING HOUSING
A filler neck housing or charging housing for insertion into a body opening in a motor vehicle, comprising a housing section with a first sealing section and a second sealing section, the first sealing section being provided on an outer edge, which can be inserted into the body opening, of the housing section and being designed to bear in a sealing manner on the body opening, and the second sealing section being provided on a passage opening in the housing section, into which a tank filler pipe or a plug-in charging connector can be inserted, the second sealing section being designed to bear in a sealing manner against the tank filler pipe or the plug-in charging connector.
Plastic filler neck for vehicles
A method can be used to form a plastic filler neck for a vehicle. The method includes providing a fuel injection pipe comprising a polyamide material containing nanoclay and having a single layer structure in cross-section, inserting and fastening a retainer into an internal space of a tip of the fuel injection pipe to support a refueling gun, directly fastening a cap holder to the tip of the fuel injection pipe, and mounting an air drain casing to an outer diameter portion of the cap holder fastened to the fuel injection pipe using a mounting bracket.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle according to the present invention is configured with a fuel tank, a fuel sensor for detecting an amount of fuel stored in the fuel tank, and an informing device (a controller, informing switch, and speaker) for informing the stored amount of fuel detected by the fuel sensor, by changing the informing pattern in response to this stored amount of fuel. The working vehicle is also configured with an exhaust gas purification system for purifying exhaust gas using urea water, a urea water tank, a urea water sensor for detecting the amount of urea water stored in the urea water tank, and an informing device (the controller, informing switch, and speaker) for informing a stored amount of urea water detected by the urea water sensor, by changing the informing pattern in response to this stored amount of urea water.
Filler Neck for a Vehicle with Improved Diffusion Resistance
A tank filler neck for a motor vehicle including a tube having an outer tube portion and an inner tube portion, a barrier layer embedded between the outer tube portion and an inner tube portion, the barrier layer having a thickness at a first region thereof that is greater than a thickness than remaining regions thereof, and a seal arranged to directly contact the barrier layer at the first region. In that way, the barrier layer is to inhibit diffusion of hydrocarbons through the tube at a first region more than the remaining portion(s) the plastic tube.
