Apparatuses for Mounting Tanks to Vehicles and Related Methods
Some of the present apparatuses include a frame defining first and second supports and at least a portion of a rigid tank mount laterally offset from the first and second supports, where the first support is configured to be pivotally coupled to a vehicle such that the frame is movable relative to the vehicle between a first position in which the second support is spaced apart from the vehicle and second position in which the second support is coupled to the vehicle. Some apparatuses include a frame mount having a flange defining a bounded opening configured to receive a fastener and a post extending from the flange and away from the opening, where the first support is configured to be pivotally coupled to the flange via the fastener and the second support is configured to be coupled to the post when the frame is in the second position.
Cross member structure of vehicle body
A cross member structure of a vehicle body includes a floor panel (2) provided below a vehicle interior in the vehicle body (10); side sills (3) that are provided on both sides of the floor panel (2) in a vehicle width direction and extend in a front-rear direction of the vehicle body (10); a cross member (4) that extends in the vehicle width direction and connects the side sills (3) to each other; and a reinforcement (5) that is provided between the cross member (4) and the floor panel (2) and extends in the vehicle width direction, wherein the cross member (4) includes a curved portion (41) that is curved to at least one side in a vertical direction of the vehicle body (10) outward from the reinforcement (5) in the vehicle width direction.
INTEGRATED FILL SYSTEM AND METHOD
An integrated fill system is provided for a vehicle. The integrated fill system can include a container configured to house a compressed gas having a first end and a second end. A first neck mount is configured to receive the first end of the container and configured to restrict movement, and a second neck mount is configured to receive the second end of the container and configured to enable movement. A housing is configured to encase the container and the first and second neck mounts. A fill line has a first end coupled to the first end of the container, and a draw line has a first end coupled to the second end of the container. A filter is arranged proximate to the fill line to prevent contaminants from entering the container.
Fuel system mountable to a vehicle frame
A fuel system is provided that includes a fuel system frame and in some cases access steps. The frame can be mounted to a vehicle frame rail. Bracket assemblies can be coupled to the fuel system frame at a plurality of positions. The fuel tank can be mounted at neck portions thereof and can be supported on the frame rail between the neck portion, e.g., spaced a distance from the neck portions in a longitudinal direction of the fuel system. The access steps can be non-rectangular to provide a wide stepping portion even if the fuel system includes large tanks. The steps can be directly supported by an outside surface of the tank.
WHEELBASE STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a wheelbase structure (configured to form at least a part of a vehicle main supporting structure by extending from a first axle to a second axle, the first and second axles being separated along a longitudinal direction. The wheelbase structure comprises an outer boundary forming an inner housing space for housing energy storage or transformation devices, wherein at least a portion of the outer boundary is formed by a sandwich structure comprising a plurality of layers of different material.
Construction Machine
A hydraulic oil tank (17) is supported by a tank support base (18) and a tank support base (19) at a position higher than that of an upper surface (8A) of a right side frame (8) . Also, a space portion (23) with an opening (23A) corresponding to an outer side in the right-and-left direction of an upper revolving structure (3) is provided between a hydraulic oil tank attachment site (9B) and a hydraulic oil tank attachment site (10B), and a bottom surface portion (17E) of the hydraulic oil tank (17). In addition, the opening (23A) of the space portion (23) is provided with an opening/closing cover (25D) openably closing the opening (23A).
Body structures for an automotive vehicle utilizing upper and lower shear structure assemblies
A body structure for an automotive vehicle includes an enclosure for a power source, an upper shear structure assembly and a lower shear structure assembly. The enclosure includes a front cross-member, a rear cross-member, a left rocker and a right rocker. The upper and lower shear structure assemblies are disposed across the top and bottom of the enclosure, respectively, and are fastened to respective top and bottom surfaces of the cross-members and rockers. The upper and lower shear structure assemblies may include respective front and rear generally trapezoidal sections configured for attachment to respective front and rear box structures. Each of the shear structure assemblies is effective to dissipate in-plane a portion of an external load imposed upon the enclosure.
Recreational vehicle with underbody insulation
A recreational vehicle includes an interior space having a floor, a first insulating member located below the floor, a second insulating member located below the floor, a chassis located at least in part between the floor and the first insulating member and the floor and the second insulating member, a first enclosed volume defined by the floor, the chassis and the first insulating member, a second enclosed volume defined by the floor, the chassis and the second insulating member, an air flow path between the first enclosed volume and the second enclosed volume, and an air flow path between the interior of the recreational vehicle and the first enclosed volume.
Fuel Tank Fastening Assembly for a Motorcycle, and Motorcycle Assembly
A fuel tank fastening assembly for a motorcycle includes a fuel tank, a holding bracket secured to the fuel tank, and a battery carrier. The holding bracket is fastened to a mount on the battery carrier. A motorcycle assembly includes the fuel tank fastening assembly and a motorcycle frame. The battery carrier of the fuel tank fastening assembly is fastened to the motorcycle frame, and a battery is accommodated and secured in the battery carrier.
