A vehicle comprises a tank that is placed behind a front component in a front-rear direction of the vehicle and that is arranged such that a longitudinal direction of the tank is along the front-rear direction; and a fixation member configured to fix the tank to a vehicle body of the vehicle. The front component and the tank are arranged to at least partly overlap with each other when the vehicle is viewed from a forward direction side. The fixation member releases fixation of the tank to the vehicle body when the front component comes into contact with the tank to apply an external force along the longitudinal direction that is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, to the tank.

VEHICLE

There is provided a fuel cell vehicle, including a high voltage system disposed in a front compartment of the vehicle, and a first protruding portion that protrudes in a left-right direction of the vehicle toward a vehicle body of the vehicle further than a portion of the high voltage system that is closest to the vehicle body, and is fixed to the high voltage system, in which, when the vehicle is placed on a horizontal plane, the first protruding portion is arranged such that a position of a first most-protruded portion of the first protruding portion that protrudes most toward the vehicle body in a height direction is located at the same position or higher than a center of gravity of the high voltage system.

Modification of an industrial vehicle to include a containment area and mounting assembly for an alternate fuel

A system and attendant structural components for incorporating an alternate fuel supply, such as of the type used in combination with a conventional distillate fuel, to power a heavy duty industrial vehicle, such as a mine haul dump truck. The system and attendant structure includes a mounting assembly structured for containment and support of the alternate fuel and a containment area disposed on the vehicle and structured and dimensioned to retain the mounting assembly therein. The containment area and the mounting assembly are disposed in laterally adjacent, exposed relation to an operator area of the mine haul truck, wherein the mounting assembly and the containment area are cooperatively disposed and structured to facilitate storage of the alternate fuel and operative communication and distribution thereof with the powering engine of the mine haul vehicle.

VEHICLE WITH IMPROVED SUPPRESSION OF HIGH VOLTAGE UNDER COLLISION LOAD

A vehicle includes an electrical device in which a high-voltage part is disposed within a case, and a fuel tank. The high-voltage part is disposed near a first side end of the case in a vehicle width direction. The fuel tank has a first end portion in the vehicle width direction and a second end portion opposite to the first end portion. When a collision load equal to or greater than a predetermined value is applied to the fuel tank from the outside in a vehicle front-rear direction, the fuel tank is configured to horizontally rotated about the first end portion of the fuel tank, and the second end portion of the fuel tank is configured to contact the second side end of the electrical device.
