ELECTRIC MARINE PROPULSION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD
A method of controlling an electric marine propulsion system to propel a marine vessel includes receiving a user-set time, determining a time remaining based on the user-set time, and identifying a battery charge level of a power storage system on the marine vessel. A required battery power is then determined based on the time remaining and the battery charge level, and then an output limit is determined based on the required battery power to enable propelling the marine vessel for the user-set time without recharging the power storage system. The propulsion system is automatically controlled so as not to exceed the output limit.
Electric vehicle and diagnosis method for electric vehicle
An electric vehicle includes a traction motor, an inverter that supplies the motor with an alternating current, three current sensors that respectively measure current of each phase of the alternating current output by the inverter, the alternating current being a three phase alternating current; and a controller that controls the motor through the inverter. The controller is configured to, when one of the current sensors becomes unusable, identify the unusable current sensor while controlling the motor with a d-axis voltage command value set to zero and a q-axis voltage command value set to a non-zero value.
Method of controlling driving of a vehicle using an in-wheel system
A method of controlling driving of a vehicle using an in-wheel system includes: calculating a time to collision (TTC) by dividing a distance between the vehicle and an obstacle located in front of the vehicle by relative velocity; determining whether the vehicle enters a braking avoidance section, based on the calculated TTC; and generating, by a motor mounted in each wheel, braking force of a brake by an amount of shortage of braking force of the brake compared with a demanded braking force if the vehicle enters the braking avoidance section.
Method and device for external monitoring of a converter
The invention relates to a method for the external monitoring of a converter (10), the converter (10) being controlled by means of a first electronic control system (12) and the method being implemented by means of a second electronic control system (14) which is independent from the first electronic control system (12). Said method comprises detection (S1) of a current (I) received by the converter (10) and a voltage (U) received by the converter (10) by means of a current/voltage sensor device (16) which is independent from the first electronic control system (12). The invention also relates to a device for monitoring a converter (10), to a computer program product, to a machine-readable storage medium, to a drive train of a motor vehicle, and to a corresponding motor vehicle.
Electrically driven vehicle
There is provided an electrically driven vehicle that well balances calculation volumes and communication volumes of two control devices configured to drive and control motors for driving. The electrically driven vehicle comprises at least one motor for driving and a first control device and a second control device configured to control the motor. The first control device is configured to calculate a target torque that is to be output from the motor, based on information including an accelerator position, to calculate a current command based on the calculated target torque, and to send the calculated current command to the second control device. The second control device is configured to use the current command, a phase current of the motor and a rotational angle of the motor such as to drive the motor by feedback control.
