A method for controlling torque reduction of a hybrid vehicle includes: determining a discharging torque control factor of a motor and a charging torque control factor of the motor based on a current state of charge of a battery that supplies electric power to the motor and a threshold state of charge of the battery; calculating a torque of the motor corresponding to driving torque reduction request of a traction control system (TCS) based on a discharging limit torque of the motor that the discharging torque control factor is reflected in and a charging limit torque of the motor that the charging torque control factor is reflected in; and calculating a torque of the engine corresponding to the driving torque reduction request based on the calculated torque of the motor and a request torque of the traction control system.

An external power supply connector attached to a vehicle-side connecting portion and control unit controlling the supply power to the vehicle-side connecting portion, supplying power from the vehicle to outside. The external power supply connector includes a body including an external connecting portion to an electric plug supplying power to a connected external device; a restricting member enables switching between restricting state wherein the electric plug is restricted from being attached and detached to and from the external connecting portion, and allowing state enabling the electric plug to attach and detach to and from the external connecting portion. A signal outputting portion outputs a signal to the control unit and detecting portion. The detecting portion detects the restricting state and allowing state of the restricting member. In allowing state, the signal outputting portion outputs a prohibiting signal from being supplied to the external power supply connector to the control unit.

A control device for a hybrid vehicle includes a push-start mode and a motor start mode. The push-start mode transmits a driving force from driving wheels to the engine via a first transmission route at a speed detected by a speed detection means equal to or more than a predetermined speed to start the engine. The motor start mode starts the engine using a driving force of the motor at a speed equal to or less than the predetermined speed as well as in a stopped state. At a speed outside a speed range that either mode is executable when a start command of the engine occurs in driving only using the electric motor as the driving source, a control means performs the driving force reduction control for reducing a driving force transmitted from the electric motor to the driving wheels of the vehicle.

The torque compensation section compensates the target output torque by using a slowness characteristic in which a change in the motor rotational speed which occurs with time is slower when in the non-transmission state than when in the transmission state.

A motor control device according to an embodiment includes a hardware processor configured to: calculate a first torsion torque generated by a motor shaft according to fluctuation of an engine torque based on a difference between a motor angle as a rotation angle of the motor shaft and a shaft angle as a rotation angle of a transmission shaft of a transmission on the downstream side of a damper; calculate a first vibration damping torque to be output by a motor generator to damp vibration of the motor shaft based on the first torsion torque and a drive state value indicating a drive state of an engine; and output a motor torque command value to be provided to the motor generator based on the first vibration damping torque.

The second electric power supply is the supply of electric power from the rotating electric machine to the electric device. The controller controls the power supply device and the internal combustion engine such that the internal combustion engine is started with the first electric power supply being continued during the switching control.

When an elapsed time after an accelerator depression amount increases is less than a threshold value, a correction driving force is set based on an increase in accelerator depression amount and an engine, a first motor, and a second motor are controlled such that an effective driving force obtained by adding the correction driving force to the base driving force is output to a drive shaft for a hybrid vehicle to travel.
