Occupant support

An occupant support includes a seat bottom and a seat back coupled to the seat bottom and arranged to extend upwardly away from the seat bottom in a normal-seating configuration. The seat back is pivotable relative to the seat bottom between a plurality of positions. The seat back may be changed from an upright position to a folded-forward position.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes a seat back frame with an upper subframe pivot. A seat back subframe is pivotably connected to the seat back frame at the upper subframe pivot. An actuation assembly pivotably moves the seat back subframe relative to the seat back frame about the upper subframe pivot, between a seat back subframe design position and a subframe recline position. In the recline position a lower edge of the seat back subframe is positioned outwardly relative to the seat back frame with the seat back subframe pivoted to an angle relative to the seat back frame.

The backrest supporting structure fastens a backrest element of the seat arrangement thereto. The backrest supporting structure is pivotably movable on the seat substructure. The backrest supporting structure is pivotable out of a first use position of the seat frame into a second use position of the seat frame. In the second use position, the backrest supporting structure acts on the seat surface supporting structure and forces the seat surface supporting structure out of the first use position into the second use position.

Retractable car seat

The present disclosure provides a retractable car seat that is folded and stowed in a vehicle. The retractable car seat includes: a body configured to be folded or unfolded; a frame movably connected to the body to support the body such that the body is configured to be folded or unfolded; a support having an end connected to a lower portion of the body or the frame and another end movably connected to a floor of the vehicle, being able to move forward and backward in the vehicle, and having a length that can be vertically adjusted; and a rail disposed on the floor of the vehicle and having the support inserted therein, thereby functioning as a path in which the support is moved.

SECOND ROW PRIORITY SEATING FOR VEHICLES

Aspects of the disclosure relate to vehicles capable of autonomous driving. These vehicles may include seats for accommodating different numbers of passengers. In some cases, the seats may be reconfigurable. For instance, a vehicle may include a first row of seating having a first, passenger use configuration. The first row may allow a passenger to sit in a seat of the first row of seating and access user input controls for the vehicle. The first row of seating may also have a second, folded configuration where the first row is in a folded configuration and no longer usable for passenger seating. The vehicle may also have a second row of seating. When the first row of seating is in the second, folded configuration, the second row of seating may still be usable for seating and may include additional legroom for the passenger as compared to when the first row of seating is in the first passenger use configuration.

At the overlapping part 40, the side frame pieces overlap each other in a state where a plurality of closed regions 41 and 42 closed by being surrounded by both side frame pieces are formed in a cross section of the overlapping part 40 intersecting with the direction of extension of the side frame 10.

In embodiments, the aircraft passenger seat assembly further includes a plurality of actuatable assemblies, wherein the plurality of actuatable assemblies include a first set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the first set of segmented seatback panels relative to the base seatback panel, and a second set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the second set of segmented seatback panels relative to the first set of segmented seatback panels.
