A clip member is connected to a cloth-form body that transmits a tensile force. The clip member includes a connecting portion connected to one end of the cloth-form body, and a groove engaged with an edge portion of a mounted portion. The clip member is provided to reduce a torque generated at the connecting portion by the tensile force transmitted from the cloth-form body when engaged with the edge portion of the mounted portion, and connects the cloth-form body to the mounted portion.

A seat for vehicles, in particular motor vehicles, with separate backrest and seat base, includes a seat base and a backrest. The seat base is separate from the backrest, and the seat base is constrained to the backrest so that the backrest base can rotate relative to the seat base. The seat base and backrest are each manufactured as one piece of metallic material in a single cold-molding process. At least one of the seat base and backrest includes an engagement edge configured for engaging, via mechanical interference, with a cover for the seat in order to retain the cover.

SEAT-COVER FITTING STRUCTURE

Provided is a seat-cover fitting structure capable of preventing a seat cover from accidentally separating from a seat main body. In a seat-cover fitting structure 1, a resin clip 41 that is fitted to an end member 10 attached to the lower end of a hanging cotton-cloth member of a seat cover and a metal clip 50 that is fitted to the exterior of the resin clip 41 engage each other with gaps X.sub.1, X.sub.2, and X.sub.3 formed therebetween. In a state where the metal clip 50 is stuck to, by magnetic force, a main-body-side member that is embedded in the seat main body, the resin clip 41 moves with respect to the metal clip 50 within the ranges of the gaps X.sub.1, X.sub.2, and X.sub.3.

Installation structure and method for decorative badging of vehicle interiors

An attachment structure is configured to be installed in a vehicle interior. The attachment structure includes an outer skin and an ornament embedded in the outer skin. The attachment structure further includes a plate which provided on an underside of the outer skin. The outer skin is disposed between the ornament and the plate. The attachment structure also includes a base positioned at an underside side of the plate and configured to be coupled to the plate, and a cushion. The cushion may be positioned between the outer skin and the plate, or between the plate and the base.

An airbag module-equipped seat in which the periphery of an attachment portion of a guide member that guides a deployment direction of an airbag has a compact size and the guide member can be attached easily while maintaining satisfactory deployment performance of the airbag. This seat includes an airbag module attached to a side frame, a guide member that guides a deployment direction of the airbag module, and an attachment member for attaching the guide member to the side frame. The side frame has an attachment hole for the attachment member at a position different from a shaft portion for attaching the airbag module. The attachment member has a holding space in which an end of the guide member is held in a detachable manner, and is inserted into the attachment hole in a state in which the end of the guide member is held in the holding space.

The attaching portion is fixed to the attachment portion with a fixing member.
