Information display system
The information display system includes an antenna, a display unit, a processing unit, and a housing. The antenna receives outside information from an outside of a vehicle. The display unit performs display to the outside of the vehicle. The processing unit is capable of executing outside-targeted display processing by which to cause the display unit to perform display associated with the outside information by controlling the display unit based on the outside information received by the antenna. The housing is installed on the vehicle after having the antenna, the display unit, and the processing unit assembled thereto and thus unitized. As a result, the information display system produces the effect of enabling beneficial information to be provided to the outside of the vehicle.
VEHICULAR REAR WINDOW ASSEMBLY WITH INTEGRATED LIGHTING
A vehicular rear window assembly includes a window panel having an inner glass panel and an outer glass panel laminated together. A lighting device includes a plurality of light sources arranged on a circuit element. The vehicular rear window assembly is configured to be disposed at a rear portion of a cabin of a vehicle. The lighting device is disposed between the inner glass panel and the outer glass panel. The light sources, when electrically powered, emit light that is visible through the outer glass panel of the window panel so as to be viewable by a person viewing the vehicular rear window assembly from exterior and rearward of the vehicle. At least some of the light sources of the lighting device are electrically powered responsive to actuation of a brake of the vehicle to provide a center high mounting stop lamp feature that is integrated within the window panel.
WINDOW
A rear window that is provided with a vehicle display device for displaying information toward the outside of the vehicle, includes a rear display portion on which the information is projected, in which in which at least a part of an outer surface of the rear display portion has hydrophilicity.
VEHICLE LIGHT-FIXTURE
A vehicle light fixture includes: one light source including a light emitting layer partitioned into a plurality of segments capable of emitting light individually; and a control unit for causing the light emitting layer to emit light in a different light emitting state by performing control of selecting the segment for emitting light from among the plurality of segments, and control of at least one of brightness and a light emission timing of the selected segment.
Vehicle exterior panel provided with sensors
Problem: To enhance the accuracy of the information collected from around a vehicle by always keeping constant the relative positions of a plurality of sensors provided at different parts of a vehicle body. Means to Solve the Problem: In a front module panel 11 provided to the front surface of a vehicle body, a panel body 12 is integrally molded by a synthetic resin material, a front grille portion 13 is provided at the center thereof, a front bumper portion 14 is formed below the grille portion, and a translucent cover portion 16 of a head lamp 15 is two-color molded by a transparent resin material at each of both right ends of the panel body 12. A camera is built in each of the head lamps 15, a millimeter wave radar 21 is mounted to an emblem 17, a LIDAR 22 is built in each fog lamp 18, and ultrasonic sensors 23 are disposed near the lower edge of the front bumper portion 14.
Remote vehicle hazard and communication beacon
A hazard beacon has an interface to a vehicle wiring harness configured to detect that vehicle emergency indicators have been deployed, a plurality of separately strobe capable light segments forming a hazard symbol, and a microcontroller controlling operation of the plurality of separately strobe capable light segments.
Exterior lighting and warning system
A vehicle may have vehicle controls that are used in steering, braking, and accelerating the vehicle. The vehicle may have sensors that gather information on vehicle speed, orientation, and position. The sensors may also gather information on relative speed between the vehicle and a following vehicle, information on risks of a collision between a vehicle and an external object, and other vehicle status information and vehicle operating environment information. Control circuitry may use light-based devices to display braking information, information on vehicle speed, the relative speed between a vehicle and a following vehicle, autonomous driving mode status information, custom brake light information or other user-selected information, or other information on vehicle status and the operating environment of a vehicle.
Auxiliary Spare Tire Brake Light For Vehicles
An auxiliary spare tire brake light is provided for a vehicle having a spare tire with a rim that has spokes and openings and that is secured on lugs at the back of the vehicle. The auxiliary spare tire brake light includes a support disc having a central portion and a peripheral portion. An array of openings is formed in the central portion of the support disc and the openings are positioned to fit over the lugs at the back of the vehicle for positioning the support on the lugs behind the rim of the spare tire. An annular race extends around the peripheral portion of the support and a plurality of lights in the form of LEDs is disposed in the race. The LEDs are arrayed in a closely spaced substantially continuous array around the support to form a ring of LEDs. A wire and electrical connector electrically connect the plurality of LEDs to the brake circuitry of the vehicle so that the LEDs are illuminated when the vehicle's brake pedal is depressed. A first portion of the ring of LEDs align with and project light directly through the openings in the rim of the spare tire to be seen from behind as an indication that the vehicle is braking. A second portion of the ring of LEDs aligns behind the spokes and reflects off of the backs of the spokes to silhouette the rim against the glow of the reflected light.
VEHICLE LAMP
A vehicle lamp includes: a planar light emitting body including a transparent base body, a light emitting portion disposed inside the base body, and an extraction electrode formed on the base body and configured to supply a current to the light emitting portion; and a flexible printed wiring board including a transparent wiring base, a connection electrode formed on the wiring base and connected to the extraction electrode, and a conductive portion connected to the connection electrode. The extraction electrode and the connection electrode are constituted by a plurality of metal wires respectively arranged at a predetermined interval.
Vehicle Communication System
A vehicle communication system is provided. The system includes a housing having a first portion slidably affixed to a second portion. A first display is affixed between a first upper arm and a first lower arm of the first portion. A second display is affixed between a second upper arm and a second lower arm of the second portion. The first display and the second display are disposed along distinct parallel planes, such that the first portion and the second portion can selectively move between an extended position and a collapsed position. A fastener is disposed on each of the first end of the housing and a second end of the housing. A control circuit includes a power supply, a processor, and a memory disposed within the housing, and wherein the first and second displays can display a message stored on the memory across the first and second displays.
