In some embodiments, the at least one wrap element may also provide for a non-scratch outer layer and one or more zippered pouches, as well as a detachable flag and detachable LED light strip element.
Integrated fastener for plastic automotive components
An integrated fastener comprises a component portion including a component housing surrounding a component, a linking platform molded extending from the component portion. A securing means is capable of being received within a receptacle defined by the linking platform and is designed to be received within an aperture defined by an automotive component. The securing means is capable of securing the component portion to the automotive component. The component portion, the linking platform, and the securing means are molded as one piece.
Locking assembly
A locking assembly configured to lock a vehicle control radar with respect to a support, including a first plate which is configured to be fixedly mounted on one of the support and the vehicle control radar and which has a first face; a second plate configured to be fixedly mounted on the other one of the vehicle control radar and the support, the second plate including a second face configured to be placed facing the first face of the first plate; an end stop configured to prevent the first plate from moving in translation with respect to the second plate in a first direction along a locking direction; and a lock which is separate from the end stop and which is movable in translation along the locking direction, the lock being configured to prevent the first plate from moving in translation with respect to the second plate in a second direction which is opposite to the first direction.
Air freshener with device holder
The invention is a combined air freshener and portable device mount which diffuses aromatic fragrance compounds contained in the main cavity of the invention and at the same time engages a fastener mounted on a personal device. The fastener can be but is not limited to ferromagnetic, detent based, or hook and loop fasteners. An elastic member wraps around the main cavity wall at the proximal end and provides friction and cushion for the personal device when it is held by the fastener. Helical threading on the main body engages compatible helical threading on a support structure, allowing the invention to be mounted in a variety of locations in a vehicle interior.
PORTABLE TOOL MOUNTING DEVICE
A portable tool mounting device has a frame, a tool mount member slidably mounted to the frame, and a motor connected to the frame and a threadable rod that extends through a bore in the tool mount member. Attached to the threadable rod is a nut that is positioned to engage the tool mount member.
Portable apparatuses for mounting a personal electronic device and methods for use thereof
A portable personal electronic device mounting apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a vertical strip comprised of vertical fasteners, a support bracket attached to a bottom portion of the vertical strip. In this embodiment, the support bracket is configured to receive a personal electronic device. The apparatus further includes a first support strap comprised of first strap fasteners and two ends. Each of the two ends is selectively fastenable to each other and at least one of the two ends is selectively fastenable in relation to the vertical strip.
ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHMENT TO A SEATBACK
An accessory assembly includes a support structure configured to attach to a seat of a vehicle. The accessory assembly also includes an electronic device supported by the support structure. The electronic device includes a screen. The accessory assembly further includes a hanger coupled to the support structure and spaced from the screen such that the hanger does not obstruct the screen.
Mobile device mounting system
A mobile device mounting system includes a device case and a mount. The device case includes: an insert including a rectangular bore and defining a set of undercut sections about the rectangular bore; and a first set of magnetic elements arranged in a first pattern about the rectangular bore. The mount includes: a body; a polygonal boss extending from the body and configured to insert into the rectangular bore; a set of locking jaws arranged on the polygonal boss configured to transiently mate with the set of undercut sections to constrain the polygonal boss within the rectangular bore; and a second set of magnetic elements arranged in a second pattern about the polygonal boss and configured to transiently couple to the first set of magnetic elements to transiently retain the mount against the device case and to drive the set of locking jaws toward the set of undercut sections.
SUPPORT FOR A DEVICE, SUCH AS A SMARTPHONE
A support for receiving and holding a device, such as a smart phone, in a vehicle. The support includes a first jaw, able to receive a first edge of the device, and a second jaw, able to receive a second edge of the device. The support also includes a sheath, an arm, and a first return means, the arm being able to translate relative to the sheath. The arm includes two segments, articulated to one another using a rotation axis, and the first return means tends to rotate the distal segment relative to the proximal segment, in the direction bringing the second jaw closer to the first jaw.
