Modular cargo slider
The present invention relates to a modular cargo slider for easy modular assembly of at least one platform and custom configuration by the user. Optional dividers allow for the containment of a cargo on a top surface of the platform during transport and can be optionally adjoined to at least one platform, an end cap or a spacer as needed by the user. In some embodiments, the dividers include at least one indentation for assisting the user in securing the cargo on top of the top surface of the platform of at least one platform. In some embodiments, at least one end cap and at least one spacer allow for further custom configurations be the user.
VEHICULAR MOUNTED RAIL SYSTEM
A vehicular mounted rail system may provide a rail, base(s), and rail adapter that are configured to be assembled and mounted to a structural member (e.g., dashboard) of a vehicle so as to enable a user to support an electronic device by the structural member.
Reconfigurable system for adjustable support structure anchored to cup holder onboard vehicle
A reconfigurable system provides for adjustable support of a personal article of a user in a manner releasably anchored to a built in cup holder receptacle onboard a vehicle. A base portion fits within and substantially fills the cup holder receptacle. The base portion defines an internal bore formed to extending axially therein. A frame portion engages the internal bore of the base portion to extend longitudinally upward therefrom. The frame portion includes at least first and second sections telescopically coupled to one another for axial relative displacement in releasably locked manner. The first and second sections are mutually locked against angular displacement relative to one another during use, with one of the first and second sections defining an attachment end. One of a plurality of modular holder portions is coupled to the attachment end of the frame portion to define a support surface for the personal article.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY SYSTEM WITH ADJUSTABLE MOUNTING OF REAR CAMERA
A vehicular vision system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) disposed at a vehicle, a rear camera disposed at the vehicle and having a field of view at least rearward of the vehicle. The rear camera captures image data and provides captured image data to the ECU. A video display screen is disposed in the vehicle and is viewable by a driver of the vehicle. The video display screen is operable to display video images derived from a video signal provided by the ECU during a forward maneuver of the vehicle. The rear camera is mounted at a camera mounting bracket that is attached at a spare tire mounting bracket at a rear of the vehicle. A height of the rear camera is adjustable to position the rear camera above a spare tire mounted at the spare tire mounting bracket.
DISPLAY ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POSITIONING A DISPLAY FOR A DASHBOARD OF A VEHICLE
A display and an adjustment device are included in a display adjustment system for an instrument panel of a vehicle. The adjustment device adjusts the display from an original position in the instrument panel into a central position in a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The adjustment device moves the display from the original position of the display in the instrument panel along a central longitudinal axis of the vehicle in the direction of a rear part of the vehicle and transversely with respect to the longitudinal central axis of the vehicle in the direction of a driver's seat so that the display is adjusted into the central position in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
Moveable illumination and image acquisition unit for a motor vehicle
An illumination and image acquisition unit for movable mounting on a vehicle body includes a movable section having an image acquisition section with at least one camera, a lighting member having at least one light source and an end section, the at least one light source being a component of a side boundary light, an ambient lighting, a signal or warning light, a flasher, a camper light, a laser display, a logo lamp, a floor light, or a projector. A motor vehicle includes such a lighting and imaging unit.
Electronic mirror system, automobile door, and automobile
An electronic mirror system includes, a camera which can be attached to a side of an automobile and which is able to image a moving image diagonally behind the automobile; and a monitor apparatus which can be attached in the passenger compartment of the automobile and which can display the moving image imaged by the camera. The monitor apparatus includes a movable portion which can move the display which displays the moving image with relation to a wall to where the monitor apparatus is attached in the passenger compartment.
VEHICLE AND ROOF CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING A DISPLAY DEVICE FOR USE THEREIN
A vehicle includes a roof construction comprising at least one semi-transparent panel fitted in an opening in the fixed roof of the vehicle. The panel is connected to a stationary frame. A headliner on the interior side of the fixed roof is provided for hiding the fixed roof and stationary frame from view. At least one display device is capable of showing images from its display screen to occupants in the vehicle. A drive system is provided for moving the display screen at least into a storage position and into an operational position in which the display screen is visible for occupants in an interior space of the vehicle. The display screen, in its storage position, is moved into a cavity above the headliner and is thus hidden from view and protected by the headliner.
Mounting structure to attach vehicle accessories
A mounting structure for a vehicle accessory comprises a panel including a surface defining a channel with a wall disposed between two sides extending from the surface in a direction toward an interior of the vehicle, the wall defining a ledge, and a tab, attached with the vehicle accessory, that mates with the channel, the tab being confined by the sides and the ledge between the surface and the wall such that the vehicle accessory is slideably and removably attached to the panel.
Cell phone mount with slidable jaws
A personal electronic device mount has a mounting bracket with a left jaw, a right jaw and a central support. The mount, which can be used for large cell phones, permits the device to be held in either a “portrait” orientation or a “landscape” orientation. Each of the left jaw, right jaw and central support has an engagement plate with plural corrugations that constrain the left and right jaws to horizontal sliding movement. The corrugations form surfaces on each of the engagement plates which interface with corresponding surfaces on each of the other engagement plates. The engagement plates of the left and right jaws move with respect to each other and with respect to the engagement plate of the central support. A left jaw clamp and a right jaw clamp independently affix the left jaw engagement plate and the right jaw engagement plate to the central support engagement plate at positions as desired by the user.
