SUSPENSION WIRING MODULE
A purpose of the present invention is to make a wiring member easy to bend in a suspension wiring module connecting a vehicle body-side device and a vehicle wheel-side device. This suspension wiring module comprises a suspension wiring member, which includes a transmission line main body and one or more covering layers covering the transmission line main body. At least one section of the suspension wiring member is a cabin-external section that is positioned outside of the cabin of the vehicle. In the cabin-external section, an arc-shaped groove is formed in an outer covering, which is the covering layer that is located furthest to the outside among the one or more covering layers.
POWERED VEHICLE ACCESSORY AND ACCESSORY POWERING METHOD
A vehicle accessory assembly includes an accessory configured to engage a baseplate to secure the accessory to a vehicle. The accessory and the baseplate are configured to engage each other through an attachment system having feet that are each received within an aperture when engaged. The accessory is configured to provide electrical power to at least one device that is electrically coupled to the accessory.
Moisture-curable adhesive tape and method for jacketing elongated items, especially leads
The present invention relates to an adhesive tape and to a method for jacketing an elongated item, more particularly cable sets. The adhesive tape must cure within the operational dictates for further processing, e.g. within 6 min, and after curing must exhibit the required dimensional stability properties. However, the adhesive compositions must not cure during storage itself, since otherwise they can no longer be used. Nor may the curing temperatures be too high, since otherwise the lead insulation, which is often made of PVC, may suffer damage. The invention proposes a method for jacketing an elongated item such as more particularly leads or cable sets, where a tape which comprises a moisture-curing binder on a carrier is first impregnated with water and immediately thereafter is guided in a helical line around the elongated item or the elongated item is wrapped in an axial direction by the adhesive tape, the elongated item together with the adhesive tape wrapping is brought into the desired disposition, more particularly into the cable set plan, the elongated item is held in this disposition, while the curable adhesive cures. Alternatively proposed is a method for jacketing an elongated item such as more particularly leads or cable sets, where a tape which comprises a moisture-curing binder on a carrier is guided in a helical line around the elongated item or the elongated item is wrapped in an axial direction by the adhesive tape, the elongated item together with the adhesive tape wrapping is brought into the desired disposition, more particularly into the cable set plan, the elongated item is held in this disposition, and the curable adhesive is brought to cure by the supply of moisture.
Autonomous vehicle roof pod
The technology includes a roof pod system for a vehicle configured to operate in one or more partly or fully autonomous self-driving modes. The roof pod system is arranged to sit above the roof of the vehicle, for instance at least 10-50 mm above the roof surface. The roof pod may be supported by a set of legs such as cross-rails. The roof pod system incorporates various sensors and related equipment to assist with self-driving operation. Some sensors may be arranged in the main housing of the roof pod, while others can be located in a dome-type structure extending above the main housing. A cabling harness assembly runs wiring and other links between the roof pod and the vehicle chassis.
LINE ARRANGEMENT, CONNECTION ARRANGEMENT AND ENERGY TRANSMISSION SYSTEM
A line arrangement comprising an electrical line which has at least one electrical insulator and at least one electrical conductor which runs at least in some sections adjacently to the electrical insulator along a longitudinal axis of the electrical line. The line arrangement additionally has a passive heat dissipator which runs at least in some sections along the longitudinal axis and which has at least one heat-absorbing surface portion and at least one heat-emitting surface portion thermally connected to the heat-absorbing surface portion. The heat-absorbing surface portion is brought towards the electrical conductor at least to such an extent that the heat-absorbing surface portion forms a thermally operative connection to the electrical conductor in order to dissipate waste heat from the electrical conductor to the heat-emitting surface portion.
Electrical connections using vehicle brake lines
An apparatus includes a first electrical component, a second electrical component, and a brake line. At least part of an electrical connection between the first electrical component and the second electrical component is defined by the brake line. The electrical connection may be a secondary electrical connection for rerouting an electrical path. The brake line may include first and second tubular conductive structures for defining first and second electrical connections. A repeater may be used to retransmit a data signal along the brake line. A nonconductive layer may be disposed on a tubular conductive structure of the brake line. A controller may switch operation of the brake line between an electrical power transmission mode and a data signal transmission mode. A controller may be operable determine a connected state or a disconnected state of the brake using the electrical connection.
Clamp and wire harness
A clamp and a wire harness capable of being easily installed on a fixation portion are provided. The clamp 41 includes the holder 70, which holds the outer sheath 36 accommodating an electric wire, and the fixed portion 50, which is connected to the holder 70 and fixed to the vehicle body panel P1. The fixed portion 50 includes the insertion groove 60, into which the columnar fastener B1 on the vehicle body panel P1 is inserted. The insertion groove 60 extends through the fixed portion 50 in the X-axis direction. The insertion groove 60 is shaped so as to include the mouth 61 in the plan view seen in the X-axis direction. The mouth 61 opens in the Y-axis direction in this embodiment, which is orthogonal to the X-axis direction.
Electrical connector cover
A cover for an electrical connector may include an outer wall having a first edge and a second edge, a first side wall connected to a first end of the outer wall, a second side wall connected to a second end of the outer wall, a first clip portion disposed proximate the first edge and configured for rotational connection with a first wire frame portion, and/or a second clip portion disposed proximate the second edge configured for connection with a second wire frame portion.
ELECTRIC WIRE PROTECTION MEMBER AND WIRE HARNESS
