A portion of each terminal is disposed in an insulative housing and an electrically conductive shield extends around at least a portion of the terminals and a least a portion of the housing. The housing may have a lower surface and a projection extending downward from the lower surface between a portion of a vertical section of each of the terminals. The terminals may have an angled section including a vertical portion having a first width, an angled portion narrower than the vertical portion, and a horizontal portion narrower than the angled portion. The housing may have a housing mating component spaced from a housing body component and aligned with but spaced from the terminals. The terminals may have a planar termination section with a first portion wider than a second portion.
Damper interface device
A damper interface device (DID) includes a microcontroller including a memory and a processor, at least one algorithm stored to the memory, and a DID connector configured to connect the microcontroller to a vehicle network without having to modify the wiring system of the vehicle. The algorithm is configured to receive network messages from the vehicle network via the DID connector, where the network messages include an input message directed to a suspension controller. The algorithm is executed by the processor to identify the input message as directed to the suspension controller, parse the input message for response requirements, determine contents of a response to the input message, where the contents of the response emulate a response of the suspension controller, and generate a response message including the contents of the response. The microcontroller is configured to output the response message to the vehicle network via the DID connector.
Redundant power bridge battery architecture
Devices, systems, and methods for constant and reliable power distribution, using a redundant power bridge battery architecture, in autonomous vehicles are described. An example method includes determining that each of a plurality of sensors is operating within in a nominal range for the respective sensor, and distributing, based on the determining, power from at least one alternating current (AC) power source or at least one direct current (DC) power source to at least one power distribution unit (PDU), wherein a first power bridge is coupled to the at least one AC power source and the at least one DC power source and a second power bridge is coupled to the at least one DC power source and the at least one PDU, and wherein the plurality of sensors is used to monitor a health of the vehicle and any single point failure is detectable.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX
An electrical connection box includes a substrate on which a fuse element including terminals is mounted, and a case member in which the substrate is housed. Through holes pass through the substrate in the thickness direction, the terminals of the fuse element are inserted into the through holes on one surface side of the substrate and protrude from the other surface side, and the protruding portions of the terminals are in contact with the case member.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX
An electrical junction box includes: a first housing configured to hold a first terminal having a flat plate shape; a second terminal configured to allow the first terminal to be inserted thereinto such that the second terminal is conductively connected to the first terminal when the first terminal is inserted into the second terminal; and a second housing configured to be engaged with the first housing. The first housing has a first space defining, together with a second space of the second housing, a space configured to accommodate the second terminal. The first space is configured to accommodate a part of the first terminal. When the first housing is engaged with the second housing, the first terminal is allowed to be inserted into the second terminal such that the first terminal and the second terminal are conductively connected.
System and method of capacitance control
A system and method of capacitance management in an agricultural vehicle and connected implement, wherein the vehicle and implement have a plurality of electric drives connected to a common connection and connectable to a direct current supply, and each electric drive has an associated Y capacitor between each direct current supply connection and the common connection, wherein the method includes receiving and summing capacitance values for each of the electric drives and comparing with a stored threshold value. If the threshold value is exceeded, a sequence of selective disconnections of individual electric drives is performed until the sum of the received capacitance values is less than or equal to the threshold value. The method may be performed manually, or automatically based on a sequence defined in a priority list until the sum of the received capacitance values is less than or equal to the threshold value.
Electrical connection box
An electrical connection box capable of suppressing ingression of liquid is provided. The electrical connection box is configured to house an electrical device, to interconnect a plurality of in-vehicle device via the housed electrical device, and to be provided in a vehicle, and includes an insertion port that passes through a side wall and into which an electric wire to be connected to the electrical device is inserted, and an eave portion that is provided along an upper edge portion of the insertion port and protrudes outwardly by a predetermined length.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED NETWORK SYSTEM
Electronic devices include: a first electronic device capable of being always supplied with power; and a second electronic device capable of being supplied with the power through an operation by an occupant. Each of power supply hubs is located near the first electronic device, and connected to a battery or another one of the power supply hubs by one of main power supply lines. Each of the first and second electronic devices is connected to nearby one of the power supply hubs. Each of zone ECUs outputs a control signal to one of power supply ICs so as to distribute, to the first and second electronic devices, the power supplied to one of the power supply hubs by one of the main power supply lines.
