Connector housing assembly having a pin protector plate
A connector assembly disclosed herein includes a male connector housing, female connector housing and a pin protector plate. The male connector housing includes a resilient finger having an engagement member spaced apart from an upper catch. The female connector housing includes a protruding member axially offset from a retention member. The pin protector plate is disposed between the male connector housing and the female connector housing and includes a tab and a peripheral catch. The tab projects upwardly from the base and is axially offset from the peripheral catch. The pin protector plate is movable from a locked position to a pre-stage position. Wherein the female connector housing is configured to move the pin protector in a pre-stage position when the female connector housing is removed. Accordingly, the male terminal blades remain protected during the servicing of the connector assembly.
CONTROL UNIT HAVING A CONTACTING CONCEPT FOR A GROUND CONNECTION
A control unit for a motor vehicle, including a housing and at least one electronic component accommodated in the housing. The housing is provided with at least one screw-receiving hole for receiving a mounting screw, and a bridging element consisting of metal and used for a ground connection of the at least one electronic component is also present, which bridging element, via a first end region which is located inside the housing, is electrically connected to the electronic component and, via a second end region which can be resiliently deformed along the screw-receiving hole, is arranged in a support region intended for axial support of a screw head of the mounting screw. A drive module with this control unit is also provided.
ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX
Provided is an electrical junction box that can be reduced in size by accommodating a high-voltage bus bar and a low-voltage bus bar in a space-efficient manner. The electrical junction box is an electrical junction box for a vehicle including a housing that accommodates a high-voltage bus bar for high voltages and a low-voltage bus bar for low voltages, in which the low-voltage bus bar is attached to a top plate of the housing, the high-voltage bus bar is attached to a bottom plate facing the top plate, and the high-voltage bus bar and the low-voltage bus bar are disposed overlapping each other with a clearance distance therebetween in an up-down direction.
Automobile architecture
An automobile architecture includes a composite cable, a main electronic control unit, a subsidiary electronic control unit, a motor sensor, and a wheel velocity sensor. In the architecture, the composite cable connects the main electronic control unit and the subsidiary electronic control unit, and the motor sensor and the wheel velocity sensor are connected to the subsidiary electronic control unit.
ELECTRICAL CENTER COVER WITH MACHINE-READABLE INDICATOR CONFIRMATION OF LOCK ENGAGEMENT
A cover for an electrical center of a vehicle includes a cover member defining a first cover lock assurance (CLA) feature and configured to cover electrical components of the electrical center when the first CLA feature is fully engaged with a second CLA feature defined by a housing of the electrical center and a CLA system configured to assure the full engagement of the cover member to the housing of the electrical center, the CLA system including a third CLA feature configured to selectively engage/disengage with the first and second CLA features to engage the cover member to the housing of the electrical center and a machine-readable indicator configured to be fully visible and readable by a CLA device when the third CLA feature is fully engaged and seated within the first and second CLA features.
DAMPER, ASSEMBLY, AND ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER
A damper is disposed in at least one of a space between a supported member and a supporting element or a space between the supported member and a supporting member. The damper includes a cushioning member and a protecting member. The cushioning member is configured to relax stress applied to the supported member that is supported by the supporting member together with the supporting element. The cushioning member includes a facing portion that faces the supported member, an opposite portion that is opposite to the facing portion, and a side surface portion that is located between the facing portion and the opposite portion. The protecting member is disposed on the side surface portion to cover the cushioning member from an outside of the cushioning member.
SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY
A supporting assembly configured to fix chassis of electronic device to fixing bracket. Supporting assembly includes plate body, cushion, fastener and spacer. Plate body includes mounting hole and wall surface forming mounting hole, and plate body is configured to be fixed to chassis of electronic device. Cushion is disposed through mounting hole and includes opening. Fastener is disposed through opening of cushion. A side of fastener is configured to be fixed to fixing bracket, and cushion is clamped between another side of fastener and fixing bracket so as to be compressed. Spacer is disposed in mounting hole and located between wall surface of plate body and cushion. Hardness of spacer is greater than hardness of cushion.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A control device for a vehicle may include a housing, a first interface for connecting to a communication network in the vehicle, a connecting unit that is connected to the first interface, a first assembly connected to the connecting unit which is configured to control a function in the vehicle, and a port for a second assembly that is configured to control another function in the vehicle.
HEADLINER-MOUNTED TELEMATICS CONTROL UNIT PACKAGE
A roof structure of a motor vehicle includes an outer sheet and a headliner below the outer sheet. A telematics control unit (TCU) is disposed in an insulated space of the roof structure. The TCU is configured to provide Wi-Fi within a passenger space of the vehicle above an electrically non-conductive grille extending across an opening in the headliner. The grille permits airflow between the insulated space and a passenger space below the headliner to cool the TCU, without interfering with Wi-Fi signals from the TCU.
Supporting assembly
A supporting assembly configured to fix a casing of an electronic device to a chassis and including a plate body, a cushioning component and a fastener. The plate body includes a mounting hole. The cushioning component is disposed through the mounting hole. The cushioning component includes a through hole. The fastener is disposed through the through hole of the cushioning component. A side of the fastener is configured to be fixed to the chassis, and the cushioning component is compressed by another side of the fastener and the chassis.
