BELT RETRACTOR
A belt retractor comprising a belt reel rotatably mounted in a frame securable to a vehicle and on which a seatbelt can be wound, and a blocking device arranged on a mechanical side of the belt reel and which blocks the belt reel when a specified seatbelt pull-out acceleration and/or a vehicle deceleration is exceeded, activating the blocking device in the pull-out direction of the seatbelt, and an electric motor for rotating the belt reel, and a gearing mechanism which transmits the rotational movement from the electric motor to the belt reel, wherein the electric motor and gearing mechanism are arranged coaxial to the rotational axis of the belt reel and in series relative to the belt reel; and a transfer rod is provided arranged coaxial to the rotational axis of the belt reel and in series with the belt reel.
BELT RETRACTOR
The invention relates to a belt retractor surrounding a belt reel which is rotatably mounted in a frame, and comprising a force-limiting device with at least one plastically deformable first torsion rod, wherein the first torsion rod has a first end rotationally fixed to the belt reel and a second end rotationally fixed to a profiled head which can be blocked via a first blocking device in a fixed manner relative to the vehicle. The belt reel, the first torsion rod and the profiled head are arranged coaxially to one another and in series relative to one another.
Vehicle occupant restraint system
A vehicle occupant restraint system is configured to, when a vehicle speed is higher than or equal to a vehicle speed threshold, a steering angle velocity is higher than or equal to a steering angle velocity threshold set for each vehicle speed, and an estimated lateral acceleration is higher than or equal to an acceleration threshold, drive a retractor motor. The steering angle velocity threshold is as a condition to drive the retractor motor. Therefore, by setting an appropriate steering angle velocity threshold according to an amount of movement of an occupant with inertia in a vehicle width direction, the vehicle occupant restraint system is able to take up a webbing when the occupant is estimated to move with inertia by a relatively large amount in the vehicle width direction. The amount of movement with inertia varies for each vehicle speed even at the same steering angle velocity.
Webbing take-up device
A webbing take-up device is provided with a spool, a first rotor and a second rotor. A webbing to be applied to a vehicle occupant is taken up onto the spool by the spool rotating in a take-up direction. The first rotor is provided to be rotatable together with the spool, includes first engaging teeth with which a moving member that is moved engages, and is rotated when the moving member that is moved engages with the first engaging teeth. The second rotor is provided to be rotatable together with the spool, includes second engaging teeth with which the moving member that is moved engages, and is rotated when the moving member that is moved engages with the second engaging teeth. The second engaging teeth are disposed so as to overlap with the first engaging teeth in a rotation circumference direction of the first rotor.
Webbing retractor
A webbing retractor includes a spool, a motor, a force limiter mechanism, a first rotating body, a second rotating body, a ratchet gear, a pawl body and a control section. The ratchet gear is provided at one of the first rotating body or the second rotating body. The pawl body is provided at another of the first rotating body or the second rotating body. The pawl body can engage with the ratchet gear in a case in which the first rotating body rotates toward one side, and engagement of the pawl body with the ratchet gear being cancelled in a case in which the first rotating body rotates toward another side. The control section drives the motor to rotate in reverse, such that the first rotating body rotates toward another side in a case in which a physical amount relating to load of the passenger exceeds a predetermined value during forward rotational driving.
SEATBELT RETRACTOR ASSEMBLY
A system includes a seatbelt retractor having a spool and a braking claw selectively engageable with the spool. The system includes an actuator designed to inhibit engagement of the braking claw with the spool. The system includes a processor and a memory storing program instructions executable by the processor to actuate the actuator to inhibit engagement of the braking claw with the spool for a threshold amount of time after detecting an impact of a vehicle.
Seatbelt pretensioner assembly
A seatbelt pretensioner assembly includes a body. The seatbelt pretensioner assembly includes a shaft rotatably supported by the body. The seatbelt pretensioner assembly includes a spring operatively engaged between the body and the shaft. The seatbelt pretensioner assembly includes a solenoid supported by the body and movable between a first position inhibiting rotation of the shaft relative to the body and a second position permitting rotation of the shaft relative to the body.
VEHICLE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT SYSTEM
A CPU of an ECU is configured to compute an estimated acceleration that is estimated to be applied to a vehicle and a remaining time that is taken from present time to acceleration occurrence time at which the estimated acceleration occurs from a road surface condition detected by a road surface condition detection unit and a vehicle status detected by a vehicle speed determination unit and a steering angle velocity determination unit. The CPU is configured to, when the remaining time becomes shorter than or equal to a predetermined value, drive a retractor motor. The webbing is retracted before an occupant moves with an acceleration that is applied to the vehicle, so the occupant is held in a normal seated position. The retractor motor is driven when the time that is taken from present time to acceleration occurrence time becomes shorter than or equal to the predetermined value.
Seatbelt control device
A seatbelt control device comprises a kinesthetic warning control part that is provided with a fitting operation part performing a fitting operation controlling a time for making the motor operate forward based on a motor current value when making the motor operate forward and controlling a belt tightness to an initial belt tightness, and a kinesthetic warning operation part performing a kinesthetic warning operation making the tightness of the seatbelt rise in stages from the initial belt tightness by repeating a forward operation making the motor operate forward and at least one operation of a braking operation short-circuiting the terminals of the motor to render the motor a short brake state or a reverse operation making the motor operate in reverse and k configured to perform the fitting operation before performing the kinesthetic warning operation on the seated passenger.
