Autonomous driving sensor cleaning system for a vehicle
An autonomous driving sensor cleaning system for a vehicle includes a rotatable cover unit configured to surround a sensor such as a cylindrical sensor. The system also includes a cleaning unit coupled to the cover unit to transmit a rotation driving force to the cover unit and configured to clean the cover unit by friction while being rotated in a direction opposite to the rotation direction of the cover unit. The system also includes a rotation driving unit coupled to the cleaning unit and configured to transmit the rotation driving force to the cleaning unit.
Camera monitor system with self-cleaning articulating camera wing
A camera arm for a camera monitor system (CMS) includes a base that is configured to be secured to a vehicle, and the base includes a wiper. A pivoting arm is mounted on the base at a joint. An actuator is configured to articulate the pivoting arm relative to the base with the joint. A camera assembly is provided in the pivoting arm and configured to face rearward with the base secured to the vehicle. Articulation of the joint is configured to move the pivoting arm between a deployed position and a stowed position, and the articulation of the joint moves the camera assembly across the wiper in a sliding direction as the pivoting arm moves between the deployed and stowed positions.
Motor vehicle headlamp
Motor vehicle headlight (1), comprising a lens ( ) a screen (3), a windscreen wiper (4) with a wiper blade (4a), which is arranged between the screen (3) and the lens (4a), a drive device (5), which is designed to move the wiper blade (4a) back and forth between a starting position and an end position, wherein an area (2b) of the lens (2) to be cleaned can be cleaned by moving the wiper blade (4a) from the starting position to the end position or from the end position to the starting position and by the contact of the wiper blade (4a) with the outside of the lens (2), wherein the wiper blade (4a) is located completely below an upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the starting position, and extends partially or completely over the upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the end position.
