SENSOR ASSEMBLY WITH CLEANING SYSTEM
A sensor assembly includes a cylindrical sensor window defining an axis, and an annular member coupled to the sensor window and rotatable about the axis. The annular member includes a nozzle aimed at the sensor window and oriented at an acute angle from a radial direction toward the axis in a plane orthogonal to the axis.
Touch screen operated cruise control
A cleaning device for a vehicle has tracks above and below the vehicle's windshield. A brush, wiper blade and spray bar extend across the windshield at a starting side of the windshield. The spray bar provides washer fluid as the brush rotates against the windshield. The spray bar, rotating brush and wiper bar are moved along the tracks and across the windshield to an opposing, return side of the windshield where the wiper blade first contacts the windshield and the brush stops rotating and moves away from the windshield. The spray bar rotates next to the wiper blade to blow air against the windshield. The wiper blade scrapes water while air blows water off the windshield as they move back to the starting side of the windshield where they are stored in a frame along the side of the windshield when not in use.
System and method for cleaning a vehicle-mounted optic lens
The present invention refers a system and a method for automatically cleaning an optic lens mounted on a vehicle, by spraying a washing liquid to remove any type of dirt from the lens such as a clear image or optic signal can be captured anytime, where an air pump is provided including a variable volume compression chamber to pressurize a volume of air, and a washing liquid conduit is communicated with a liquid nozzle and with the air pump, such as the air pump can be operated by the flow of pressurized washing liquid, such as the same flow of pressurized washing liquid is used to clean the optic surface, and to operate the air pump and generate a blast of air to blow off any liquid drop from the optic lens.
ONBOARD OPTICAL SENSOR CLEANING DEVICE
An onboard optical sensor cleaning device ejects fluid against a sensing surface of an onboard optical sensor installed in a vehicle and removes foreign matter from the sensing surface. The onboard optical sensor cleaning device includes a cleaning liquid ejection port that ejects supplied cleaning liquid and an air ejection port that ejects supplied air. The cleaning liquid ejection port and the air ejection port are independent from each other, an air ejection axis of the air ejection port is set so that the ejected air mixes with the cleaning liquid ejected from the cleaning liquid ejection port and to be directed toward the sensing surface.
CONTACTLESS CLEANING OF A SURFACE OF A VEHICLE
A method is disclosed for cleaning a surface of a vehicle which comprises a holder connected to the vehicle, wherein the holder comprises at least one nozzle. Within the scope of the method, a cleaning agent is applied at a pressure above atmospheric pressure by the at least one nozzle onto the surface to be cleaned, wherein the at least one nozzle is moved in a contactless manner over the surface.

Device for supplying air to a suction side of a pump, component unit having such a device and wiper system
A device (50) for supplying air to a suction side (12) of a pump (10) of a wiper system (100), includes a suction channel (60) for sucking in air, said suction channel (60) being able to be connected to the suction side (12) of the pump (10). Provision is made that the device (50) is realized as a component separate from the pump (10) and comprises a connection area (52) for connecting the device (50) with a supply container (14) for washer fluid (3) and having an additional connection area (54) for a suction nozzle (24) of the pump (10), and that a check valve (62) is disposed in the suction channel (60), said check valve (62) being designed to open and close as a function of a negative pressure (P) on a suction nozzle (24) of the pump (10), whereby when the said check valve (62) is opened air can enter the area of the suction nozzle (24) of the pump (10), and when the check valve (62) is closed no air is sucked in.
SENSOR MODULE HAVING A CLEANING APPARATUS, ROOF MODULE AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A sensor module for being fixed to a vehicle. The sensor module may have at least one environment sensor, a panel component having a viewing area, through which the at least one environment sensor transmits and/or receives electromagnetic signals for charting an environment of the vehicle, and at least one cleaning apparatus, which has at least one cleaning nozzle by which the viewing area is cleaned. The at least one cleaning apparatus may have a guide lever which is rotationally connected to the at least one cleaning nozzle and which guides the at least one cleaning nozzle for an in particular combined longitudinal movement along a movement axis and a rotational movement about a rotational axis.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING AN OPTICAL SENSOR, AND ASSOCIATED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM AND CLEANING METHOD
The present invention concerns a device (1) for cleaning an optical sensor (3), in particular intended to equip a motor vehicle, comprising a nozzle (5) for dispensing a cleaning liquid, characterised in that the cleaning liquid dispensing nozzle (5) is a drip dispensing nozzle and is configured to deposit the cleaning liquid on the optical sensor (3) in individual drops.
