The wiper blade may be configured to clear the sensor cover of debris, and the sensor cover may be configured to house one or more sensors. A wiper motor may rotate the wiper and a sensor motor may rotate the sensor cover. The system wiper blade may comprise a first edge attached to the wiper support and a second edge which may be configured to be in contact with the sensor cover. The wiper blade may extend in a corkscrew shape around the wiper support. The wiper motor may be configured to rotate the wiper in a first direction and the sensor motor may be configured to rotate the sensor cover in a second direction opposite the first direction.
Sensing apparatus
A sensing apparatus is provided. The sensing apparatus may include: a casing; a sensor assembly mounted in the casing; and a wiper assembly removing an outside material attached to the sensor assembly. The sensor assembly includes a sensor module and a sensor housing surrounding the sensor module, and the sensor housing is made of a transparent material. The sensor housing is rotatably mounted in the casing. The sensor housing is rotatably supported with respect to a hollow shaft in the casing, and the hollow shaft is mounted in the casing.
Cleaning device
A cleaning device according to an embodiment is a cleaning device that cleans a light transmission member provided on a camera. The cleaning device includes a filamentary member configured to contact the light transmission member and a rotation member configured to rotate the filamentary member such that the filamentary member moves along the surface of the light transmission member with the filamentary member in contact with the light transmission member.
Washing arrangement for washing a surface of a target device and method for washing a surface of a target device using said washing arrangement
The washing arrangement comprises at least one first wiper driving actuator and at least one second wiper driving actuator to move at least one wiper, and at least one nozzle for injecting washing fluid towards the target device, wherein the wiper driving actuators are linked to each other such that, in use, the wiper is driven by the first wiper driving actuator along a first line to contact the surface of the target device to be washed, and by the second wiper driving actuator along a second line to wipe at least one portion of the surface of the target device.
Cleaning devices for vehicles, cleaning system for vehicles, and control method for cleaning system for vehicles
A vehicle cleaning device removes an extraneous object collected on a cleaning subject of a vehicle. The vehicle cleaning device includes: a cleaning liquid supply device mounted on the vehicle; and a wiper device including a wiper driver and a wiper blade. The wiper driver includes a linear movement portion that produces a linear movement based on supply of a cleaning liquid that is pressure-fed from the cleaning liquid supply device, and a movement converter that converts the linear movement into a pivoting movement. The wiper blade is arranged to be contactable with the cleaning subject. The wiper device is configured to cause the wiper blade to perform a reciprocal wiping operation based on the pivoting movement of the movement converter.
WIPING DEVICE FOR A DETECTION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a wiping device for a detection system of a vehicle, including a wiper blade, a wiper arm, a motor unit and a drive unit. The drive unit includes a guidance block which carries the wiper arm, and which is inserted in a guidance frame, and a plurality of belt wheels. At least one drive belt wheel is driven in a rotational motion by the motor unit. The drive unit further includes a belt which is driven by the belt wheels and moves the guidance block according to a rectilinear motion.
SMALL-AREA WIPING
Wiper blade for a wiping system, in particular for wiping a camera of a motor vehicle, the wiper blade comprising a connection device suitable for releasable connection to a drive shaft of the wiper blade, said connection device comprising a first orientation which allows mounting/dismounting relative to a drive shaft, and a second orientation which does not allow such mounting/dismounting.
DEVICE FOR DISCHARGING LIQUIDS FOR A MODULE COMPRISING SENSOR/TRANSMITTER BLOCKS FOR A VEHICLE
The device for discharging liquids for a module includes sensor/transmitter blocks for a vehicle. The module includes a first block having a lower optical surface having an upper limit, and at least one second block having at least one upper optical surface with a lower limit arranged above the lower optical surface. The device extends from an area defined by at least one portion of the lower limit of the at least one second block and the upper limit of the first block, and is configured to discharge liquids flowing from the at least one upper optical surface to an area other than the lower optical surface.
LIDAR SENSOR COMPRISING A VIEWING WINDOW AND A CLEANING UNIT, AND ASSOCIATED SENSOR ASSEMBLY
A lidar sensor including a viewing window and a cleaning unit. The lidar sensor has a vertical axis that connects a first side of the lidar sensor to a second side of the lidar sensor opposite the first side. The viewing window is situated on a front side of the lidar sensor, which connects the first side to the second side. The lidar sensor has a rear side, which connects the first side to the second side. The cleaning unit is situated on the front side of the lidar sensor, and extends along a direction of the vertical axis over the front side when the cleaning unit is in a park position. The lidar sensor being suited to be installed and operated on a vehicle in such a way that, optionally, the first side or the second side is an upper side of the lidar sensor.
Imaging device, method of controlling imaging device, and storage medium for reducing adverse effects from driving wiper
In order to reduce a driving frequency of a wiper configured to wipe a surface of an optical member on a front surface of a photographing lens, an imaging device includes: a lens; an optical member provided on a front surface side of the lens; a wiper configured to wipe a surface of the optical member, and at least one processor or circuit which functions as a detection unit configured to detect at least one of a focal length of the lens, an aperture value, and a subject size; and a control unit configured to drive the wiper so that a driving frequency of the wiper is reduced as the focal length becomes longer, the aperture value becomes smaller, or the subject size becomes larger.
