Boxed Plate Construction Frame With Plates Of Varying Thicknesses
A chassis frame including a first section and a second section. The first section includes a top plate having a first thickness, a bottom plate, and a plurality of side plates extending from the top plate to the bottom plate. The second section includes a top plate having a second thickness, a bottom plate, and a plurality of side plates extending from the top plate to the bottom plate. The first section and the second section are joined at least one transition joint. Each transition joint includes a protrusion configured to engage a pocket. Each pocket is defined by angular edges of the top and bottom plates of the first section. Each protrusion defined by angular edges of the top and bottom plates of the second section.
Robust center pivot irrigation wheels systems and methods
The present invention is related to durable, increased traction irrigation wheel systems and method of increasing traction and durability of an irrigation wheel. A segmented, fully enclosed, circular rotating drum may be provided with may be configured to rotate around a central axis. A system may have integrally placed flat sheets on a periphery of a segmented, fully enclosed, circular rotating drum, at least one traction projection, and perhaps even at least one influential traction enablement component.
Hydrostatic ground drive hose bulkhead connection system in a self-propelled agricultural product applicator
A ground drive hose routing system and method for a self-propelled agricultural product applicator utilize drive hose bulkhead connection arrangements mounted on transversely movable axle members to define segments of a hose arrangement that are constrained to lie and move primarily in only one direction, to isolate horizontal hose movement related to track-width adjustment from vertical hose movement resulting from action of suspension members. For steerable wheels, an additional pivotable segment is utilized in conjunction with the drive hose bulkhead connection arrangements to accommodate turning motion while maintaining isolation between other primarily horizontally and vertically constrained movable segments of the hose arrangement.
Farm irrigation wheel
A wheel having a hub and a circular ring is provided. The circular ring has a central axis, an outer surface having a first outer edge and a second outer edge, and a plurality of holes disposed on the outer surface. Additionally, the wheel has a plurality of spokes each being adapted to attach to both the hub and the circular ring, and each of the plurality of spokes being concaved and arranged in an alternating pattern. A plurality of lugs is disposed on the outer surface of the circular ring, and each of plurality of lugs has a first leg and a second leg, each extending from a center rib and a lug plate adapted to connect the first leg to the center rib.
Slider to frame construction
An agricultural machine such as a high clearance sprayer is provided with a frame capable of supporting wheels at a variable tread width. The frame includes a pair of cross members, both of which have slider receivers. The machine also includes a first axle slider for a first side and a second axle slider for a second side. The machine may also have a slider to frame connection arrangement that includes a reduced friction zone at the slider receivers that facilitate telescopic movement of the axle sliders. The slider to frame connection may also have at least one fixed slider wear pad in a fixed position within the reduced friction zone and at least one movable slider wear pad movably arranged within the reduced friction zone.
Pivot irrigation system and components
In one example, a continuous track transport system for an irrigation system is provided that includes a continuous track with multiple track plates arranged so that adjacent plates are directly connected to each other, and also includes a gear train connected with the continuous track and operable to transmit an input torque to the continuous track to effect movement of the continuous track. The gear train includes a drive gear having an interface that is connectible to a gearbox of an irrigation system chassis, first and second driven sprocket-gears engaged with the continuous track, each of first and second driven sprocket-gears including a respective driven gear engaged with the drive gear, and a frame to which one or more gears of the gear train are rotatably mounted. Any one or more of the drive gear, sprocket-gear, and frame may comprise, or consist of, molded, glass-filled nylon.
Self-propelled off-road agricultural vehicle with a dynamically reconfiguring speed control and display system
A self-propelled off-road agricultural vehicle with a dynamically reconfiguring speed control and display system is provided that allows for on-the-go range selection and range modification, without having to release a joystick control and while providing range and speed information on an animated or dynamically reconfiguring speedometer. The system may include an animated speedometer that automatically reconfigures to shown visually change in a manner that shows changed range characteristics including different ranges and different range maximum speeds. This may include changing color of a sweep portion of a dynamic scale of the animated speedometer. The system may allow dual speed change capability configured to allow an operator to change the limits of the speed ranges through either a touchscreen such as an HMI (human machine interface) or control buttons of a grip of a joystick.
SLIDABLE MOUNTING ASSEMBLY FOR A WORK VEHICLE
The present disclosure is directed to a slidable mounting assembly for a work vehicle includes a mounting bracket configured to couple to a frame member of the work vehicle, and a rail coupled to the mounting bracket. The rail includes a channel that extends substantially along a longitudinal axis of the mounting bracket. A portion of at least one slidable member is configured to be removably disposed within the channel of the rail, and the portion of the at least one slidable member is configured to move along the channel of the rail.
Irrigation wheel traction lug
An irrigation wheel traction lug, comprising a lug having a bent-paddle, a base and a one or more chains. Said bent-paddle comprises a first side, a second side and a front portion. Said bent paddle comprises a substantially V shape when viewed from above. Said first side and said second side flare backward away from a front portion of said base portion toward a rear edge. and Said lug selectively attaching to an irrigation wheel, having a tread pattern and a rim, by placing said base on said treat pattern, wrapping said one or more chains around said irrigation wheel between said rim and said tread pattern, and securing said lug to said irrigation wheel with said base and said one or more chains.
Wheel assembly for an irrigation system
A wheel assembly for traversing a path along a ground surface having a layer of soil, the wheel assembly comprising a central support and an airless flexible covering mounted on the central support and having a plurality of rigid sections and a plurality of flexible sections. The outwardly protruding spokes urge the rigid sections into the layer of soil when the rigid sections contact the ground surface. The flexible sections flex inwardly when the flexible sections contact the ground surface so that the rigid sections and the flexible sections cooperatively form a corrugated pattern in the ground surface without urging the soil to side margins of the airless flexible covering, the corrugated pattern having a plurality of valleys formed by the rigid sections and a plurality of peaks formed by the flexible sections.
