Opening apparatus of a hood of a vehicle for emergency escape
An opening apparatus of a hood of a vehicle for emergency escape includes a hood latch and a safety hook, which constrains a striker formed on the hood to open and close the hood, which opens and closes a front trunk in a vehicle equipped with the front trunk. The opening apparatus includes an emergency lever configured to be installed in the front trunk and an emergency opening mechanism configured to operate the hood latch and the safety hook simultaneously when the emergency lever is operated to release the constraint of the striker.
Collision energy absorbing apparatus, systems, and methods
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for absorbing energy in a hinge are provided. An apparatus may include a first portion, a second portion coupled to the first portion to move relative to the first portion, and a tab configured relative to the first and second portions to absorb energy imparted to the second portion during a collision. The tab may be bendable via rotation as the second portion moves towards the first portion during the collision. The first portion may be a hinge bracket securable to a vehicle body. The second portion may be a hinge arm securable to a vehicle hood. The tab may be positioned at least partially between the first portion and the second portion for selective interference of the tab with one of the first portion and the second portion.

ELECTRIC-VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE HAVING A CENTER FRAME THAT IS HIGHER THAN A FLOOR PANEL
An electric-vehicle-body structure includes a floor panel constituting a floor of an occupant space, a center frame disposed to be higher than and away from the floor panel at a vehicle-width-direction central portion of the occupant space, extending in a front-rear direction, and including a bend portion at an intermediate portion, and a connecting member connecting the bend portion to the floor panel.
ACTIVE FRONT STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle including a vehicle hood disposed over a front end compartment of the vehicle, the hood having a front end and a rear end, the rear end being proximal to a front windshield area of the vehicle; at least one hood actuator operably coupled to the hood, the at least one hood actuator being configured to move at least a portion of the hood relative to the front end compartment; and a controller in communication with the at least one hood actuator, the controller being configured to control the at least one hood actuator in response to a predetermined vehicle operating condition. The hood further includes an active hinge defining a hood pivot axis disposed between the front end and the rear end, whereby the at least one hood actuator is configured to move only a forward portion of the hood disposed between the active hinge and the front end of the hood.

VEHICLE HOOD LEVER ASSEMBLY
A vehicle hood lever assembly has a latch mechanism, a latch lever and a striker structure. The latch mechanism has a latching member movable between a hood locking orientation and a hood unlocking orientation. The latch lever attaches to the latch mechanism at a location spaced apart from the latching member movable between a hood. catching orientation and a hood release orientation. The striker structure has a main striker member and a secondary striker member. With the striker structure moving toward the latch mechanism, a surface of the secondary striker member contacts a portion of the latch lever moving the latch lever from the hood release orientation to the hood catching orientation. In response to continued movement of the striker structure toward the latch mechanism, the main striker member engages the latching member and is restrained against further movement with the latching member being moved into the hood locking orientation.

Airflow adjusting apparatus
An airflow adjusting apparatus includes an airflow generator, a state detector, and a controller. The airflow generator is configured to generate a control airflow to cause the control airflow to join an around-vehicle airflow formed around a vehicle body of a traveling vehicle. The airflow generator is configured to vary a flow direction of the control airflow with respect to a surface of the vehicle body. The state detector is configured to detect a state of the around-vehicle airflow. The controller is configured to vary the flow direction of the control airflow on the basis of the state of the around-vehicle airflow detected by the state detector.
Pop-up hood apparatus for vehicle
A pop-up hood apparatus includes a hood, a hood lock mechanism, an actuator for raising, and an auxiliary support section configured to support a side edge portion of the hood from below upon an actuation of the actuator. The auxiliary support section includes a load receiving block configured to support the side edge portion of the hood from below, a biasing member configured to bias the load receiving block upward, a displacement restricting member configured to restrict upward displacement of the load receiving block, and a restriction releasing section configured to release upward displacement restriction of the load receiving block according to upward displacement of the hood lock mechanism. The displacement restricting member is displaced to a position that abuts a lower surface of the load receiving block when the load receiving block that has been released upward displacement restriction is displaced upward by a predetermined amount or more.
