Information output device
An information output device that can output the position of a load applied to the pedal is provided. A strain gauge is provided on the inner face of a crank of a bicycle and detects strain occurring in the crank. A cycle computer display unit displays an image showing the center position of the load applied to the pedal connected to the crank based on the tangential force and the torsional torque calculated based on the output values of the first strain gauge to the sixth strain gauge.
MOUNTING INTERFACES, DEVICES THEREWITH, ACCESSORIES THEREFOR, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTRE AND USE THEREOF
This disclosure discloses various brackets with various mounting interfaces for engaging (e.g., mechanically) with various surfaces that are correspondingly configured. For example, one of such brackets can clamp onto a bar (e.g., a handlebar of a vehicle) and then an electronic device (e.g., a smartphone, a tablet, a dedicated navigational unit) can removably secure (e.g., mate) to that bracket. This form of removable securing can be via that bracket having a latch configured to engage a detent of the electronic device (or vice versa) in order to linearly mount the electronic device onto the bracket (or vice versa) and disengage the detent in order rotationally unmount the electronic device from the bracket (or vice versa).
BICYCLE DISPLAY
A bicycle display is provided that allows the user to recognize the selected operation mode. The bicycle display includes a display screen configured to display information corresponding to a first operation mode and a second operation mode of a bicycle component that is selectable between at least the first operation mode and the second operation mode in accordance with operation of an operation unit. The display screen includes a switching region switched between a first display state, which shows the switching region in a first color in a state where the first operation mode is selected, and a second display state, which shows the switching region in a second color in a state where the second operation mode is selected.
METHODS, CONTROL UNIT, PERSONAL MOBILE TERMINAL, LIGHTWEIGHT VEHICLE, AND SYSTEM
A method for operating a control unit of a light-weight vehicle, especially of a pedal electric cycle or of an electric kick scooter. The method includes: receiving at least one sensor information associated with a sensor of the vehicle; and transmitting, via a communication channel between the control unit and a personal mobile terminal, the at least one sensor information and/or at least an information based thereon.
FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY, MOTORCYCLE ACCESSORY, AND METHOD OF ATTACHMENT
A fuel tank assembly for a motorcycle. The fuel tank assembly includes a fuel tank defining a fuel containment volume. The fuel tank has an upper wall. A fuel cap is operable to selectively open and close the fuel containment volume. A motorcycle accessory is attachable to the fuel tank via a connection structure including first and second connection portions that are complementary and inter-engageable together to positively define a fully-secured state. The first connection portion is secured to an exterior surface of the upper wall of the fuel tank, and the second connection portion is secured to the motorcycle accessory. The connection structure defines a finite position and rotational orientation of the motorcycle accessory upon relative rotation of the motorcycle accessory with respect to the fuel tank to the fully secured state.
SMARTPACK DEVICE FOR A BIKE
Disclosed is a smartpack device detachably attached to chassis of a bike. The bike includes peripheral electrical devices. The smartpack device includes a housing, a separating assembly, a locking unit, plurality of indication units, a battery unit, a door, a computer and a battery unit to power the peripheral electrical devices of the bike, computer and plurality of indication units. The plurality of indication units is configured on the housing to emit light to indicate status of each peripheral electric device of the bike. The door connected to the housing to allow access to the battery. The computer is configured on the housing includes a memory unit to store plurality of modules, a touch display unit to display processed plurality of modules and to receive touch commands from a user to access the plurality of modules and the processing unit to process the plurality of modules and is coupled to the memory unit. The plurality of modules includes a navigation module to display navigation route information on the touch display unit, and a control module controls at least one of plurality of indication units to indicate status of the electrical peripheral devices on receiving commands through touch display unit.
Bicycle accessories connection unit
A bicycle accessories connection unit includes a body having an installation hole defined axially therethrough so as to be connected with an accessory. At least one connection hole are defined radially in the body and at least one connection member is connected to the at least one connection hole so as to be connected to another accessory. A link is connected between the body and a bicycle frame. Multiple accessory are connected to the single body.
STRADDLE TYPE VEHICLE
A straddle type vehicle includes a meter display device that displays a vehicle state, a meter panel that forms an outer shell covering the periphery of the meter display device, and a meter support member that supports the meter display device on a vehicle body frame. The meter support member includes a main body disposed below the meter panel, supporting the meter display device, and attached to the vehicle body frame, and an exposed portion joined to the main body, exposed above the meter panel, and disposed around the meter display device.
DISPLAY SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE
The present application discloses systems and methods to present information to recreational vehicle riders and to provide customizable visual information to recreational vehicle riders. The present application further discloses systems and methods to connect and transmit audio information between a driver portable communication device and a driver audio interface device through the recreational vehicle and audio information between a passenger portable communication device and a passenger audio interface device.
MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
Various implementations include a spring biased mounting assembly. The mounting assembly includes a clamp plate with engagement arms extending therefrom and a base plate. The base plate is disposed between the clamp plate and distal ends of the engagement arms. The distal ends of the engagement arms are biased toward a first surface of the base plate. An object, such as a hand held electronic computing device, may be secured between the base plate and the distal ends of the engagement arms. The spring force may be provided by the clamp plate itself (e.g., a spring steel clamp plate) or by a separate spring (e.g., one or more helical springs, leaf springs, or a spring steel plate) disposed between the clamp plate and the base plate.
