VENTED SPOUT FOR A LIQUID STORAGE CONTAINER
The spout includes a first and a second member. The first member includes an elongated and generally tubular first main body having two segregated and parallel internal passageways, one being an air duct and the other being a liquid duct. Both ducts are substantially straight and substantially unobstructed along the entire first main body but the air duct ends with at least one constricted opening through which the air circuit exits the air duct. A valve is juxtaposed to the rear end of the first main body and is made integral therewith. The valve engages a valve seat provided at the rear end of a tubular inner conduit inside the second member and in which a rear section of the first main body is slidingly axially movable. The valve is normally maintained closed by a biasing element. The spout may be provided with a child resistant closure (CRC) device.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND DEVICES FOR SEALING STORAGE CONTAINERS
Systems, methods, and devices for sealing a container are described and disclosed. A system includes a lid assembly configured to seal an opening of a container and a coupler assembly configured to be disposed within a recessed portion of the lid assembly. The lid assembly includes a recessed portion configured to facilitate coupling the lid assembly with an external vacuum source. The lid assembly includes a hole disposed within the recessed portion and a ball seal disposed in the hole, wherein the ball seal is configured to seal the hole in a closed position when a vacuum pressure is created within the container. The lid assembly includes a gasket cavity disposed within the lid assembly, wherein the gasket cavity is configured to align a gasket for creating a seal between the lid assembly and the container. The coupler assembly includes a coupler body, a coupler seal, and a vacuum port.
Container closure device and container having such a closure device
A container closure device (20) for a container (10), in particular for a beverage can (10), comprises a lid (30) having an upper face (31), a lower face (32), and an opening (33). The container closure device (20) further comprises a closure (50) having a closure part (51) for opening and closing the opening (33) and an operating device (40) for actuating the closure part (51). The closure part (51) is arranged on the lower face (32) so as to be pivotable about a first axis (A) which extends substantially parallel to the lower face (32). The operating device (40) is arranged on the closure part (51) so as to be rotatable about a second axis (B) and be rotatable from a first position (S.sub.1) into a second position (S.sub.2). The opening (33) can be closed by rotating the operating device (40) into the first position (S.sub.1) and can be opened by rotating the operating device (40) into the second position (S.sub.2).
Carbonated Beverage Closure
A threaded closure comprises a vent assembly that can be actuated to release pressure from a container on which the closure is located. The vent assembly is made from a flexible material that allows a vent to be uncovered by tearing the material. In one embodiment, the vent assembly allows pressure to be released form a container prior to removal of the closure.
Removable closure with a key code body for a fluid container
A cap for a fluid container includes a cap body including a base surface at a first end and an opening at a second end. The cap body is engageable with the fluid container. The base surface includes a first engagement structure. The cap includes a first aperture in the base surface. The cap further includes a key code body including a second engagement structure engageable with the first engagement structure. The key code body includes a key code ring. A removable closure member includes a plurality of engagement surfaces and a sealing surface disposed opposite the plurality of engagement surfaces. The removable closure member includes a sealing mechanism including a sealing member on the sealing surface. The sealing member is engageable with a portion of the base surface that defines the first aperture.
Dispensing closures and dispensers
A dispensing closure for dispensing fluid product from a squeeze container consists of an outer cap element (3) and an inner element or valve disc (4) fitting inside the cap element. Each is molded from thermoplastics; no elastomer is used. The cap element includes an outwardly-deflectable diaphragm wall (35) around a central outlet opening (361). The inner element (4) has a peripheral mounting ring (41), a central blocking portion (48) and a set of support spokes (46) providing flow clearance between them. In a closed position the blocking portion closes the outlet opening. In an outflow condition the diaphragm wall (35) deflects outwardly to allow flow. In a recovery mode the blocking portion (48) deflects inwardly for compensation air or residual liquid product to enter the container.
FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER
A configurable container is provided that has an interior surface configured to secure one or more rigid or flexible dividers and to allow for reconfigurable interior compartments of the container. The dividers may also include an integrated material such as a gel that can be heated or cooled in order to maintain a desired temperature within the container. The container may include a lid that engages the top surfaces of the dividers to establish a plurality of substantially sealed compartments within the container.
Vented beverage can and can end
A beverage can end has a vent (40) that includes a button (50). The vent is actuated by downward force of a pull tab (70) that is transmitted to the vent score (42) through the button. The center panel (18) includes beads.
Stay-fresh food container
A container for storing a food product includes a receptacle and a plunger slidably movable along an inner wall of the receptacle. The plunger includes a support surface for the food product and a seal configured to form a seal between the support surface and the inner wall. A rounded lid with an apex is configured to be sealingly coupled to the receptacle. The lid includes a vent located at the apex.
Beverage container closure
A beverage container closure or lid that is adapted for closing an open end of a beverage container. The lid is selectively couplable to the beverage container and includes a selectively openable stopper that when closed, creates a fluid-tight seal between the beverage container and the environment. The stopper may be selectively opened by a user by the user pressing a button disposed on a side of the beverage container closure. The stopper is subsequently automatically closed when the user releases the button. Thus, a user may open and close the beverage container closure using a single hand without the need to remove the beverage container closure from the beverage container.
