20210195874 · 2021-07-01 ·

A system for transferring marine life within an aquaculture facility including a plurality of segregated storage facilities each containing water for marine life, maintained within a predetermined temperature range and supported at independent ground levels. The storage facilities are successively disposed and structured to contain marine life at different stages of growth. A transfer assembly includes a path of fluid flow interconnecting successive ones of said plurality of storage facilities in fluid communication with one another, wherein at least a majority of a length of said path of fluid flow is disposed beneath the independent ground levels at a predetermined depth, which is sufficient to facilitate maintenance of the path of fluid flow within the predetermined temperature range, via geothermal cooling. The transfer assembly may also connect a holding facility, which may be dimensioned and structured to transfer mature marine life, possibly on an on-demand basis, to the harvesting facility.

A fluid pump assembly is used in combination with a container having a wall. The pump assembly comprises a first casing disposed outside the container in contact with the wall, a first magnetic assembly mounted to the first casing and operatively associated with a drive motor, a second casing disposed inside the container in contact with the wall, and a second magnetic assembly mounted to the second casing and operatively associated with an propeller. The first magnetic assembly includes a rotatable magnetic drive member drivingly coupled to the drive motor. The magnetic drive member is magnetically coupled to the magnetic driven member through the wall for imparting a rotary driving force of the drive motor to the propeller. Furthermore, the second casing is detachably connected to the second side of the wall of the container solely by magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic assemblies.

AQUACULTURE CAGE COMPRISING A MAIN CHAMBER AND A PERIPHERAL RING CHAMBER
20210092941 · 2021-04-01 ·

A net cage for farming of marine organisms is described, where the net cage is comprised of a main chamber to hold the marine organisms and where the net cage has further water chambers to treat the water before it is circulated back to the main chamber.

Cross-flow type flow-making water pump

A cross-flow type flow-making water pump is provided, including a motor, two impeller and impeller housings. The cross-flow type flow-making water pump further includes clamping assemblies. The clamping assemblies are used for connecting the motor with the impellers. The clamping assemblies include clamping heads and clamping seats. The clamping heads are arranged at the ends, which are connected with motor rotating shaft, of the impellers. The clamping heads include at least two clamping sheets symmetrically arranged along axial directions of the impellers. The clamping seats are respectively arranged on the motor rotating shaft in a sleeving manner. Connection between the motor rotating shaft and the impellers is realized through clamping of the clamping sheets and the clamping seats.

Livewell operation and control for a vessel
10990622 · 2021-04-27 · ·

Livewells of a vessel are used to store caught fish, such as during fishing competitions. Apparatuses, systems, and methods track and use fishing information for efficient operation and control of livewells and the associated pumps. An example marine electronic device of a vessel comprises a user interface with a display screen, a processor, and memory including computer program code. The memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor, cause the marine electronic device to receive an indication of a fish catch and cause, in response to receiving the indication of the fish catch, a pump associated with a livewell of the vessel to one of fill the livewell with water or recirculate water in the livewell, wherein the water is pumped from a body of water in which the vessel is at least partially submerged.

Infusion reservoir for live wells

According to the present invention an infusion pump is provided within an angler's live well. The infusion pump readily dispenses additives into the water that fills the live well, counteracting the debilitating effects of ammonia released by the live fish. Upon activation by the angler the pump dispenses a controlled volume of liquid additive quickly and conveniently into the live well. In one embodiment a hemispherical bulb pump dispenses fluid additive. A second embodiment utilizing an electric pump is also disclosed. In a third embodiment a gravity fed infusion pump is described.

Aquarium filter arrangement with vibration isolation

A filter arrangement for an aquarium is disclosed. The filter arrangement can include a filter housing assembly, a pump assembly, and a transfer tube assembly. In one aspect, the housing assembly and the pump assembly are separately constructed assemblies that are connected to each other via a first dampening member to prevent vibration and sound from being transmitted from the pump assembly to the filter housing assembly. The filter arrangement can further include a second dampening member connecting the pump assembly with the transfer tube assembly to further prevent vibration and sound from being transmitted from the pump assembly to the filter housing assembly. A third dampening member can be provided at a location where the transfer tube assembly is supported within the filter housing assembly to further isolate vibration and sound from being transmitted from the pump assembly to the filter housing assembly via the transfer tube assembly.
