Lockable packaging
A package includes an outer sleeve (60) and a lockable receptacle (50). The package has a two-part locking mechanism for locking the lockable receptacle within the outer sleeve. The package also has a release mechanism including a moveable tab (76) that may be depressed to cause the two-part locking mechanism to be unlocked as well as to case the lockable receptacle to be at least partially withdrawn from the outer sleeve. The moveable tab is oriented at a non-normal angle relative to a lateral axis (x) of the outer sleeve. The non-normal angle is defined as a first angle () between the lateral axis and a notional axis (C) which runs centrally of the moveable tab through the anchored portion and to a medial point (M) of the front edge.
Packaging
A package includes a container having an open end and a closed end, and a slider slidably mounted within the container. A releasable locking feature is provided at a side of the package, which comprises a pair of locking edges, one associated with a sidewall of each of the slider and container respectively, and a release area for releasing a locking abutment between the locking edges. The release area is provided in the sidewall of the container having the locking edge, and the locking edge of the slider comprises two or more plies of a material used to provide the slider. The package includes means for biasing the locking edge of the slider into engagement with the locking edge of the container. The biasing means extends from a blister pack carrier connected to the slider.
RECEPTACLE FOR CONTAINING AND DISPENSING SOLID MEDICINAL PILLS
A receptacle (100) for containing and dispensing a solid medicinal pill (108), directly into the mouth of the user, comprising a container with a storage chamber (104) leading to a spout outlet (106) sized to be comfortably inserted between the lips of a user, said spout outlet being further provided with a displaceable sealing closure (112) having a normally closed position, and wherein displacement of said closure from said closed position, to enable the dispensing of at least one pill from said chamber, is actuated by the mouth of the user interacting with said spout outlet.
Packaging
A package includes a container having an open end and a closed end, and a slider slidably mounted within the container. The slider has sidewalls a facing panel and an end wall. The slider has a first end that is closest to the end wall of the container and opposite second end defined by the end wall of the slider. The end wall of the slider is connected to the facing panel of the slider at a first edge thereof, and is connected to a panel of a blister pack carrier at an opposite second edge thereof, the first and second edges of the end wall being connected by side edges of the end wall. The sidewalls of the slider terminate at a position spaced from the end wall of the slider, and a pair of flaps are connected to respective side edges of the end wall of the slider along respective foldlines, each flap being folded toward an end of the sidewall on its respective side of the slider and extending over at least a portion of the distance between the end of the sidewall and the end wall of the slider.
MEDICATION DISPENSER DEPILLING MECHANISM
The present invention provides a depilling device for a blister package comprising at least one array of dosage forms to be dispensed, wherein each dosage form is contained within a blister formed as a covered cavity bounded by a backing, said device comprising a double action depilling mechanism, comprising a first pusher, sized and adapted to engage a top surface of said covered cavity and to exert a first sufficient force thereagainst so as to push said dosage form contained therein against its respective bounding backing, and a second pusher sized and adapted to more forcibly engage said top surface of said covered cavity and to exert a second sufficient force thereagainst so as to expel said dosage form from said blister.
Smart dispensing packaging system
A housing module (601) for use with a smart package (110) has a main body suitable for having an electronic device (605) affixed thereto. The main body includes one or more retention wings (603a, 603b) extending from the main body. The one or more retention wings are sized and configured for co-operation with a slot (88a, 88b) associated with the smart package (110) such that the housing module (601) is retainable substantially within the smart package (110). The one or more retention wings (603a, 603a) are shaped, sized and configured to co-operate with an end-stop of the slot (88a, 88b) for locating the housing module (601) within the smart package (110).
System for opening a medical blister package
The invention relates to a system for opening a medical blister package which is easy and convenient to open for people of all level of ability and dexterity. Its design allows for selective access to the blisters by following a predetermined opening sequence, therefore minimizing involuntary wrong up taking of medicine due to patient errors as wrong sequential opening is not achievable by involuntary mistakes.
Packaging assembly
A packaging assembly that includes a carton and an inner member. The carton includes a first flap located within an inner portion thereof. The inner member is configured to be received in the inner portion of the carton. The inner member has an extension that is configured to engage the first flap to restrict the inner member from being separated from the carton. The free end of the first flap includes a cutout.
BLISTER PACKAGE FOR PHARMACEUTICAL CARTRIDGES
A blister packaging for a pharmaceutical cartridge or capsule and methods of forming same are disclosed.
Pharmaceutical dosage system
A pharmaceutical dosage system includes a blister pack and a plurality of dosage forms contained by the blister pack. The dosage forms are to be consumed in an up-titration process. Only one single dosage form of the plurality of dosage forms is consumed on a given day throughout the up-titration process whereby dosages increase over the course of a multi-day period of time.
