BAG FILLING AND DISCHARGE SYSTEM
20190367265 · 2019-12-05 ·

A system for storing a loose material comprises an upright bag having internal bracing to support a middle portion from expanding radially outwards and a support structure operable to lift the bag between a first collapsed position and a second fill position. The structure includes a plurality of hinged support members extending between a base and top ring frame. The system further comprises a flexible tension member extending between each of the plurality of hinged support members and the middle portion of the bag and a winch connected to each flexible tension member wherein the winch is operable to adjust a distance between the bag and the hinged support members so as to move the bag and the support structure between a first collapsed position and a second filled position in which the bag is upright and the hinged support members are upright.

CONTAINER
20190352089 · 2019-11-21 · ·

An apparatus for storing or transporting flowable materials or other materials, such as diesel fuel, includes a container and a support. The container is supported by the support. The support sits on or is mounted across an upper part of an open top wagon or vehicle, such as a railway wagon or truck or trailer used for transporting bulk commodities. The apparatus is movable between an expanded configuration in which the container is expandable into a lower part of the wagon or vehicle and a collapsed configuration in which the container is collapsible to the support. The weight of the support and the container is borne by the upper part of the wagon or vehicle when the container is in its collapsed configuration and the apparatus is positioned on the wagon or vehicle.

Decontamination Ring

An improved decontamination structure may feature at least two parallel rings with pillar supports therebetween and a plurality of containment bags draped thereon. Various clipping and support mechanisms may be utilized.

Self-funneling flexible container

A self-funneling flexible container may be used with a storage and transportation system to provide an efficient, effective and cost-efficient transfer of material to, from or about a site, for example, a hydrocarbon exploration, recovery, production or operation site. The self-funneling flexible container may comprise one or more bands about the bottom or the bottom and one or more sides of the self-funneling flexible container. The bands have an elasticity such that the weight of material disposed in the self-funneling flexible container transitions the bands to an expanded position. When the material is discharged, the bands transition to a contracted position to form a funnel or chute so that all material may be efficiently discharged. As the funnel or chute is only formed at discharge, the self-funneling flexible container may store more material than traditional rigid containers.

Waste bag and assembly methods

A dumpster bag has: a flexible bag member including a bottom and a sidewall structure extending upward from the bottom to a rim; at least one rim stay comprising a bungee pole; and at least one corner stay.

Systems and methods for safely transporting granular material
10399765 · 2019-09-03 · ·

Systems and methods are provided for safely and efficiently transporting granular material. In one embodiment, a container for granular material is provided. The container can have a top plate and a bottom plate that are coupled to one another via one or more high-strength fabric sleeves. The bottom plate can include a discharge valve for discharging the granular material in the container. The container can also include a discharge bladder that, when inflated, biases granular material within the container toward the discharge valve. The container can also include at least one barrier positioned proximate the discharge valve such that the barrier prevents at least a portion of the discharge bladder from entering the discharge valve. The barrier can allow sand or other granular material to pass through the barrier and exit through the discharge valve.

3D container with rigid frame, deformable container and functional means for processing the content and including an inner member for biopharmaceutical applications

A frame delimits an inside space and includes a peripherally closed side wall and two transverse openings or one transverse opening and a transverse end wall. It is capable of allowing the airtight engagement of the open free edge of a side wall in film form of a receptacle that is at least partially deformable. It is specially designed for the creation of a 3D container. The frame is also able to act as a support for at least one functional port or attachment port of a functional element. Its axial size is adequate for delimiting a space of a size that is at least equal to the axial dimension of the functional element, so that the latter can be completely housed within the inside space.

Clamping apparatus

A clamping apparatus for clamping a sheet to a supporting structure of an agricultural storage apparatus. The clamping apparatus includes a first clamping section and at least one second clamping section and is attached to a wall of the supporting structure. The, or each, second clamping section includes a lever section and a catch section pivotably attached to the lever section. In use, a section of the sheet is clamped between the first clamping section and the catch section of the, or each, second clamping section thereby securing the sheet to the supporting structure.

LARGE-CAPACITY MODULAR HOLDING CONTAINER AND RELATED METHODS

A holding container includes a plurality of pre-formed, releasably interlocking, load-bearing panels configured to form an at least partially curved, load-bearing wall extending around the perimeter of at least one storage area capable of containing at least 100,000 gallons of liquids, solids or a combination thereof. At least one among the width and length of each panel is less than 102 inches in a non-load-bearing state.

Liquid containment structures and frac ponds with mat foundations
10287092 · 2019-05-14 · ·

A liquid containment structure such as a frac pond has a perimeter wall; a floor liner bounded by the perimeter wall; and a platform underneath the floor liner, the platform formed of a plurality of mats laid edge to edge and whose upper faces collectively define a support surface. Related methods of use of the structure include installing the structure at a well site, and in some cases using the structure as a frac water pond. A drain channel may be defined in the support surface below a portion of the floor liner, with the portion of the floor liner extending downward into the drain channel.
