PLANT FOR PROCESSING CONTAINERS
A plant for processing containers (2), comprising a feeding device, a pick-up device (3) and a conveying device (1) interposed between the two, and comprising a gripping unit (7) which comprises a first retaining element (8) and a second retaining element (10) which are slidably coupled to a fixed supporting unit (5), move along it by means of respective linear motor actuators, and which between them define a housing (12) for a container (2), wherein respectively the containers feeding device and/or the containers pick-up device (3) comprise a supporting plate (16) couplable at the bottom to the gripping unit (7), respectively, in a starting station and/or in an arrival station (4), and equipped with one or more raised or raisable portions which are inserted into the housing (12) from below in order to support the container (2) independently of the gripping unit (7).
Device and method for the flexible distribution of packages
The invention relates to a device for the flexible distribution of packages, comprising at least one conveyor belt for transporting the packages along a transport direction, and at least one distributing device for moving the packages relative to the conveyor belt, wherein the distributing device has a plurality of sliding elements which are mounted movably on the distributing device, and wherein the sliding elements can be driven independently of each other. In order to achieve a reliable movement of individual packages of different sizes at individual speeds, it is proposed that the sliding elements respectively have two contact surfaces which are arranged at an angle to each other.

Adjustable conveyor belt guiderail and related methods
An apparatus for guiding products along a conveyor in a conveying direction. The apparatus includes a first guiderail for at least partially forming a conveying path for articles on the conveyor. A guiderail adjuster includes a flexible or collapsible support, which make take the form of a linkage, and which provides support for the first guiderail along the conveyor. The flexible or collapsible support is adapted for being extended and retracted along a support rail extending in the conveying direction to selectively position the first guiderail relative to the conveyor, and thereby alter (increase or decrease) the width of the conveying path. Related methods are also disclosed.

RETAINING ELEMENT FOR RETAINING AND CONVEYING AN OBJECT ALONG A CONVEYOR RAIL AND SUSPENDED CONVEYING SYSTEM HAVING A CONVEYOR RAIL AND SUCH RETAINING ELEMENTS
A retaining element for retaining and conveying an object along a conveyor rail includes a carrier part having a width, including an entrainment element for the entrainment of the carrier part by a drive element and including a receiver for receiving the object to be conveyed, and a spacer lever which is pivotably articulated on the carrier part and which is displaceable between a resting position in which the spacer lever is arranged within the width of the carrier part and a working position in which the spacer lever protrudes in the width direction of the carrier part.

LANE DIVIDER RETENTION SYSTEM
A lane divider system includes a guide rail and a lane divider bracket for connecting the guide rail to the loading and unloading ends of a flow bed. The guide rail can be tubular, with a proximal end of the bracket inserted into each end of the tube. Retention devices for releasably securing the distal ends of brackets to the loading and unloading ends of the flow bed can include a pin, inserted through an opening in the distal end of the bracket, beneath where the bracket is inserted through the flow bed. Preferred pins can include a handle portion for inserting and pulling the pin out of the opening in the locking structure, such as a split cotter pin, resilient projection, spring clip and the like, to resist the unintentional withdrawal of the pin from the end of the lane divider.
