TRANSPORT DEVICE HAVING TRANSPORT RAKE AND COUNTER RAKE
The invention relates to a transport device for an item to be transported, the device comprising: a transport rake having at least one tine; and a counter rake having at least one tine, the counter rake being adjustable relative to the transport rake in the transport direction in order to clamp an item to be transported between the at least one tine of the transport rake and the at least one tine of the counter rake, at least either the transport rake or the counter rake being connected to a transport element which is movable linearly in the transport direction, a drive element being provided to which the transport element is not connected and to which the transport element is coupled or by which the transport element is driven only by means of contactless remote forces.
Method of operating a laboratory sample distribution system, laboratory sample distribution system, and laboratory automation system
A method of operating a laboratory sample distribution system is presented. The system comprises sample container carriers comprising a magnetically active device and configured to carry a sample container, interconnected transport plane modules configured to support carriers, and electro-magnetic actuators arranged in rows and columns below each transport plane module and configured to move a carrier on top of the transport plane modules by applying a magnetic force to the carrier. The method comprises assigning transport plane modules to a route category. At least two traffic lanes are formed on the route categorized transport plane module. The carriers are moved within each traffic lane in a transport direction. The transport directions are opposite to each other. The method also comprises assigning another transport plane module to a waypoint category. A change from one transport direction to the opposite transport direction is possible on the waypoint categorized transport plane module.
Methods and systems for pallet sizing and pucking
A pharmaceutical order filling system uses pucks disposed on a pallet to accommodate a plurality of container sizes into which pharmaceuticals can be dispensed. An order processing device receives a pharmaceutical order and identifies a size of container into which a pharmaceutical in the pharmaceutical order should be dispensed. A pallet sizing and pucking device is configured: to configure a pallet with a plurality of pucks adapted to accommodate containers and to configure the pucks on a pallet in a manner that will facilitate efficient fulfillment of the pharmaceutical order.
Suspended storage
A bag capable of storing an article, the bag being conveyed while being suspended from a rail. The bag includes: a body that stores the article; a suspending member that suspends the body from the rail; and a reorienting member that reorients the body with respect to the suspending member. The body includes a bag having an internal storage space for the article, and the reorienting member is provided independently of the body, is supported pivotally with respect to the suspending member, has a free end in the body so as to pivot with respect to the suspending member, and pivots with respect to the suspending member so as to reorient the body.
RECEPTACLE TRANSPORT CARRIERS
A sample receptacle transporting carrier includes a base defining a recess for receiving a bottom end of the sample receptacle. The carrier also includes a plurality of resilient wire fingers affixed to and extending upward from the annular support. The fingers are configured to retain the bottom end of the sample receptacle within the recess of the base and to maintain the sample receptacle in an upright orientation. Each of the wire fingers includes a first segment adjacent to the base, a linear second segment joined to the first segment by a first angled portion, and a linear third segment joined to the second linear segment by a second angled portion. The third segment of each finger is configured to contact the bottom end of the receptacle as the receptacle is inserted into the carrier. The third segment and the vertical axis of the carrier form an angle between about 40 and about 50.
Interlocking part transfer cassettes
A transfer cassette including a base plate, an interlock assembly, a securement plate, and a plate tab. The interlock assembly is arranged on a first edge of the base plate and includes a support arranged on the base plate and a locking finger rotatably arranged on the support. The securement plate is arranged on a second edge of the base plate, opposite the first edge. The plate tab is partially secured to and extending from the base plate.
DEVICE FOR SORTING OUT CONTAINERS WHICH WERE APPLIED AN INCORRECT PRINT BY A DIRECT PRINTING MACHINE
The invention provides a device for sorting out containers which were applied an incorrect print by a direct printing machine. The device comprises a transport device for transporting pucks, which are adapted to transport containers, along a transport path away from the direct printing machine, where the transport path comprises at least a primary transport path and a secondary transport path, an inspection device for inspecting the print on the containers, a decoupling device, in particular comprising a pusher system or a slider system, for decoupling pucks from the primary transport path to the secondary transport path, and a control device adapted to control the decoupling device such that pucks with containers, for which the inspection device has detected an incorrect print, are decoupled to the secondary transport path.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CARRIER PUCK
A carrier puck comprising a body having an interior chamber, into which a receptacle to be held by the carrier puck can be inserted, the carrier puck comprising a deformable element, disposed at least in part within the interior chamber; and the carrier puck comprising a pressurizing mechanism configured and arranged to facilitate fluid-filling and/or pressurization of a region within the interior chamber, and in dependence upon said pressurization, the deformable element is forced to move inwardly of the interior chamber and into contact with a receptacle for securing the receptacle within the interior chamber of the carrier puck. In this way the available space within the interior chamber for accommodating a receptacle can be reduced about the receptacle, thus securing the receptacle, accurately and quickly in its location within the carrier puck.
Pharmacy order processing system
In one aspect, a pharmacy order processing system is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of picking workstations, each picking workstation including a plurality of bins. The system also includes a plurality of trays for carrying a plurality of pharmacy orders, a tray drop-off station, and a tray delivery conveyor extending between the tray drop-off station and the plurality of picking workstations. The system further includes a tray delivery conveyor extending between the tray drop-off station and the plurality of picking workstations. The system includes a plurality of packing workstations, each packing workstation including an opening to receive a scale and a plurality of receptacles configured to receive shipping label printers.
