METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PALLET SIZING AND PUCKING
A pharmaceutical order filling system uses pucks disposed on a pallet to accommodate a plurality of container sizes into which pharmaceuticals can be dispensed. An order processing device receives a pharmaceutical order and identifies a size of container into which a pharmaceutical in the pharmaceutical order should be dispensed. A pallet sizing and pucking device is configured: to configure a pallet with a plurality of pucks adapted to accommodate containers and to configure the pucks on a pallet in a manner that will facilitate efficient fulfillment of the pharmaceutical order.
Carrying device for receiving goods
A carrying device for receiving goods, which comprises a carrying wall, having a front wall and a rear wall, and a closing device, having at least one closing structure for releasably connecting the front wall to the rear wall in a closed state. The carrying wall is here arrangeable between the closed state and an open state, wherein in the closed state, it delimits a carrying volume for receiving the goods at least partially to the front, bottom and rear, and wherein in the open state, it opens up the carrying volume in the downward direction. The at least one closing structure is arrangeable, in the open state, at a spacing from the carrying wall.
SAMPLE CONTAINER CARRIER, LABORATORY SAMPLE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND LABORATORY AUTOMATION SYSTEM
A sample container carrier, a laboratory sample distribution system comprising such a sample container carrier and a laboratory automation system comprising such a laboratory sample distribution system are presented.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PART TRANSFER AND TRANSPORT IN AN ASSEMBLY LINE
A system for part transfer and transport, the system including: a first conveyor system for transporting a plurality of trays containing a two-dimensional grid of parts; a second conveyor system for transporting the parts to a predetermined destination in a linear arrangement; and a selection apparatus for transferring a linear array of parts selected from the grid of the first conveyor system to the linear arrangement of the second conveyor system, the selection apparatus comprising: a pick and place apparatus which may be cam driven for moving the parts; and a feed screw defining a plurality of singulated part spaces separated by a part pitch along the second conveyor to facilitate insertion of the linear array of parts into the linear arrangement.
SAMPLE CONTAINER CARRIER, LABORATORY SAMPLE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND LABORATORY AUTOMATION SYSTEM
A sample container carrier for holding a laboratory sample container and for transporting the held laboratory sample container in a laboratory sample distribution system is presented. The sample container carrier comprises a first holding element and a second holding element. The first holding element and the second holding element are rotationally displaceable towards and/or away from each other for holding the laboratory sample container. The sample container carrier comprises a coupler. The coupler is connected to the first holding element and to the second holding element such that the coupler couples rotational displacements of the first holding element and the second holding element with each other. The coupler comprises a ring-segment shape for inserting the laboratory sample container to be held by the coupler.
Transport device for transporting pucks
The invention provides a transport device for transporting pucks which are configured for container transport, comprising a puck transport section for transporting pucks to and from a container treatment machine. The transport device comprises a puck buffer from which pucks can be coupled into the puck transport section and to which pucks decoupled from the puck transport section can be fed.
SYSTEM FOR ASSEMBLING AND FILLING TWO GROUPS OF ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES
A system for assembling and filling two groups of electronic cigarettes, includes first and second working stations for assembly/inspection operations on a first group of electronic cigarettes and disposed upstream and downstream of a first conveying path, respectively. Third and fourth working stations perform assembly/inspection operations on a second group of electronic cigarettes and are disposed upstream and downstream of a second conveying path, respectively. A single filling station receives the first group at a first loading zone and the second group at a second loading zone to fill the first group and the second group with a filling product; and releases the first group of filled electronic cigarettes at a first unloading zone and the second group of filled electronic cigarettes at a second unloading zone towards the second working station and towards the fourth working station, respectively.
Fitment Holder
Disclosed is a fitment holder that includes a base, a hub extending from the base, and a fitment positioning structure comprising a plurality of pins. The plurality of pins may be configured to engage a wing of the fitment and the plurality of pins may include a plurality of heads residing in a plurality of countersunk areas formed in the base. The plurality of pins may also include a plurality of ends extending from a top surface of the base.
HOLDER FOR CONVEYANCE OF CYLINDRICAL BODY
A holder for conveyance of a cylindrical body includes a tubular portion having a hollow portion in which a cylindrical body is housed, and a protrusion having a base end connected to an inner wall surface of the tubular portion and a distal end formed as a free end. The protrusion has elasticity and flexibility, and the protrusion is disposed on an inner diameter side of an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body at an expected housing position such that a side surface of the distal end of the protrusion is allowed to come into contact with the outer circumferential surface while the protrusion is warped to an outer diameter side of the hollow portion.
