MODULAR SPRAYING LEG
A spraying leg for an agricultural spraying machine, to an air-flow module for such a leg, and to an agricultural spraying machine provided with at least one such leg. Agricultural spraying machines which comprise spraying legs are known from the prior art, each spraying leg being provided with air diffuser and spray nozzle units, making it possible to send phytosanitary products driven by pulsed air onto the vegetation to be treated. A spraying nozzle is provided which can easily be adapted to the nature of the plants to be treated, in particular to the height and the configuration thereof. The spraying nozzle comprises at least one mounting, and a plurality of spraying modules attached to the mounting, each module forming an air-flow duct capable of each supporting at least one air diffuser and spray nozzle unit, the modules being connected to one another.
Method and system for colouring turf
A method for colouring turf and a turf colouring system. The method and system comprise delivering liquid colourant at a hydraulic pressure greater than 1000 psi to sprayers having a high pressure, high impact, fine spray nozzle with a spray pattern having feathered edges for even coverage with overlapping nozzles. Alternatively, the method and system comprise delivering liquid colourant at a pneumatic pressure greater than 60 psi to sprayers having a high pressure, high impact, fine spray nozzle with a spray pattern having feathered edges for even coverage with overlapping nozzles.
Sprayer systems with retractable drop apparatuses
The sprayer system associated with a work vehicle having a boom and a fluid source may include a spray device configured to selectively apply a fluid from the fluid source on the work vehicle to an agricultural crop. The sprayer system may further include a drop apparatus having a linkage assembly with a top portion coupled to the boom and a bottom portion coupled to the spray device. The linkage assembly may be selectively repositionable between a retracted position and an extended position to raise and lower the spray device relative to the boom along an upright reference axis.
Spray nozzle system
A spray nozzle system includes a nozzle body and an adaptor coupled to the nozzle body. The adaptor has a first region and a second region angled at a non-zero angle relative to the first region. The spray nozzle system also includes a nozzle cap coupled to the second region of the adaptor. The nozzle cap includes a nozzle outlet to spray a liquid.
Row crop sprayer
A row crop sprayer for use in spraying a liquid herbicide onto the ground between crop rows. The sprayer includes structure for deflecting the canopies of the crop rows to expose the ground adjacent the crop rows.
Airfoil for facilitating fluid delivery
The application is generally directed towards an airfoil for a fluid delivery tube. The airfoil includes a securing member operably connecting the airfoil to the tube, a fin extending downward and outward from the securing member and terminating in a tip, a shield extending inward and downward from the tip of the fin, and an air guide extending from a first end of the shield.
HOT WATER STEAM COVER FOR PROTECTING PLANTS WHILE SPRAYING
A system and method of protecting plants while spraying having a hood mounted to a farm implement and positioned between plant rows and below plant vegetation. Extending through the hood into a hollow chamber is a hydraulic fitting having a spray nozzle. Heated water is supplied to the hydraulic fitting.
AGRICULTURAL SPRAY SYSTEM WINDSCREEN
Examples described herein include a transportable agricultural spray system that may comprise a transportable sprayer with one or more spray nozzles to emit one or more fluid sprays while transported through air in a first direction. A first air-permeable panel may be positioned adjacent the transportable sprayer substantially outside the one or more fluid sprays to extend over an area transverse to the first direction across the one or more fluid sprays. In some examples, the first air-permeable panel may be positioned in the first direction in relation to the one or more fluid sprays. Other examples may include a second air-permeable panel positioned adjacent the transportable sprayer at least substantially outside the one or more fluid sprays to extend over and an area across the one or more fluid sprays transverse to the first direction, wherein the second air-permeable panel is positioned opposite the first direction in relation to the one or more fluid sprays.
Retractable spray shield for agricultural use
A retractable spray shield for agricultural use has a spray barrier; a storage tube; a deployment and concealment drive that in one direction deploys the spray barrier from the storage tube and in a second direction opposed to the first direction conceals the spray barrier within the storage tube; and a pivotal quick release support and boom arm coupling. The spray barrier has a generally triangular and flaccid liquid barrier film, a pair of framing legs coupled to opposed edges of the liquid barrier film, a hinge plate, a pair of pintles coupling the pair of framing legs to the hinge plate, a spring guide post intermediate between the first and second pintles, and a tension spring wrapped about the spring guide post and configured to operatively stretch the pair of framing legs apart from each other and thereby expand the barrier film toward a planar, generally triangular geometry.
Agricultural sprayer boom
A boom for mounting to an agricultural sprayer which includes an elongate frame that supports a plurality of liquid application and delivery means, and an elongate tray attached to, and extending along, the boom. The tray is movable between a first position in which the tray extends substantially horizontally beneath one or more of the application devices to prevent liquids from leaking onto the ground below, and a second position in which the tray is located clear of delivery paths of the liquid application devices.
