A nut lifting tool of an inner wear part of a cone crusher. The lifting tool has a frame to be placed around a nut to be lifted. The frame has nut lifting lugs for supporting occurring from at least three sides of the center of gravity of the nut and frame suspension brackets for suspending the frame from the nut before lifting the nut. The frame also has an open side for receiving a nut, lateral limiters, which, together with the lifting lugs and the suspension brackets, form a nut receiving space such that the frame can be slid from the open side to surround the nut, and lifting connection pieces for connecting a crane to the frame.

Pipe alignment tool and method

A pipe alignment tool may be used to hoist and align two pipe ends and may comprise: a chain and an alignment bar. The alignment bar may comprise: an elongate bar with a pipe contacting member and a chain support slidably coupled to the elongate bar for guiding and retaining the chain. The method for aligning two pipe ends may comprise the steps of: providing the pipe alignment tool; lassoing the chain around a first pipe; guiding and securing the chain to the chain support of the pipe alignment tool; hoisting the chain and first pipe by lifting the alignment bar; and aligning the two pipe ends by repositioning the elongate bar and engaging an upper portion of the second pipe with the pipe contacting member.

SHORTENING HOOK WITH COUPLING CONNECTION
20200290845 · 2020-09-17 ·

A shortening hook with a coupling connection for shortening sling chains in hangers, having a hook body which comprises an eyelet at the top for coupling to a suspension ring and at the bottom a coupling connection with a coupling slot which is delimited by two parallel side wings and is downwardly open for the suspension of a chain and in its central region comprises a hooking-in region, which realizes an upwardly open, rectilinearly extending shortening slot and on which a chain, which is coupled to the coupling connection, is hookable by way of its free end region. In each case, only a coupling slot and a shortening slot are realized on the hook body and, when the shortening hook is seen in side view, are mounted offset laterally with respect to one another.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CARRYING ELONGATE CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS

Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for carrying a plurality of elongate construction elements such as pipes. The apparatus comprises opposing side members and a joining member. Each of the side members is elongate in width and comprises one or more couplings and attachment points. The couplings are configured to receive thereat corresponding couplings of a lifting machine. The attachment points are spaced along the width of the side member and configured to receive construction element engaging members thereat. The joining member is between the side members and has a length that is adjustable to define a separation between the side members which corresponds to a length of the construction element.

Master link test fixture assembly
11945694 · 2024-04-02 · ·

A test fixture assembly for proof testing of a master link and a sling assembly. In one embodiment, the test fixture assembly includes a lift connector with a pair of opposed eyes and a pin receivable through the pair of eyes. An optional guide sleeve is receivable over the pin between the opposed eyes. A pair of opposed plates are suspended from the pin. At least a first pair of spaced apart load posts extend between the pair of opposed plates and are configured to receive a master link. For testing a sling assembly with multiple sling legs, a pivoting equalizer plate and a pair of spaced apart equalizer connectors are configured to pivotally connect to the multiple sling legs.

INSTALLING PIPELINE SEGMENTS WITHIN A CONDUIT

A method for installing pipeline segments within a conduit. The method includes a step of securing a first pipe segment of the pipeline segments at a top end of the conduit, a step of aligning a main axis of a second pipe segment of the pipeline segments with the main axis of the pipeline, a step of lifting the second pipe segment from a first position associated with a bottom end of the conduit to a second position adjacent to the first pipe segment, a step of abutting a top rim of the second pipe segment against a bottom rim of the first pipe segment, and a step of attaching the top rim of the second pipe segment to the bottom rim of the first pipe segment.

Suspension ring for multistrand lifting tackle

A suspension ring for multistrand lifting tackle comprises two parallel rectilinear legs connected to one another at their ends by arcuate connecting legs. A lower connecting leg is along a longitudinal center line of the ring, extending as a circular segment in the central region of its extent and in the two regions in which it merges into each of the two legs. The radii of the rounded portions on the inside of the ring are less than half the internal width of the ring but greater than half the diameter of the legs, and the central region in the form of a circular segment is connected at its ends to the transitional region as a circular segment to the adjacent leg via a rectilinear intermediate segment of the connecting leg. An angle of the intermediate segment ranges from 50 to 75 to the longitudinal center line of the ring.

V-sling with hook positioning adapter

A V-sling (100) for use in winching a vehicle includes a master linking device (150) and at least two longitudinally extending flaccid leg members (114) coupled on a first end to the master linking device (150). The opposing second end of the flaccid leg members (114) are respectively coupled to a plurality of hooks (116, 116a).
