10464788 · 2019-11-05 ·

Method and apparatus for a portable hoisting system having an upright gin pole which is attached to the upright standing very tall pole or tower using a plurality of straps. Extending away from the gin pole is an angularly adjustable arm which is user selectable to be either; e.g., at a 90-degree angle or a 45-degree angle, which arm is supported by a brace connected between the extension arm and the upright gin pole. The gin pole is hollow on its inside which allows a load line to travel through the interior of the gin pole from its lower end to its upper outlet end and includes a plurality of pulleys which allow the load line to travel through the inside of the hoisting system. Also included is a heel block or the like wherein one end of the load line is connected to a capstand hoist disposed on the front or rear end of a vehicle and a ball with hook for supporting a load. Also included optionally is a tag line connected to the load line and being held by a ground member for helping to control the movement of the load.

Lifting device

A lifting device is disclosed for elevating an object between a first elevation and a second elevation. The lifting device comprises a base frame, a load bearing frame coupled to the base frame, an elevation reducing frame coupled to the load bearing frame and an extension frame coupled to the elevation reducing frame. A mounting bracket is coupled to the base frame. The mounting bracket engages a rung of a ladder. A load winch is coupled to the load bearing frame and lifts the object and transferring the weight of the object to the ladder. The base frame, the load bearing frame and the elevation reducing frame define an object chamber for receiving the object in the object chamber and increasing the elevation of the object relative to the extension frame.

PORTABLE DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER HOISTING RACK

The present disclosure relate to an improved portable distribution transformer hoisting rack, comprising a loose-leaf hold hoop, a fixed hold hoop, a supporting rod, and a length-adjustable adjusting rod, wherein: the loose-leaf hold hoop includes a first hold hoop, a second hold hoop, and a third hold hoop, the third hold hoop being disposed between the first hold hoop and the second hold hoop; one end of the supporting rod being rotatably connected to the third hold hoop; the other end of the supporting rod being provided with a hoisting assembly, one end of the adjusting rod being movably connected to the supporting rod, and the other end of the adjusting rod being movably connected to the fixed hold hoop.

An air conditioning crane boom assembly having a number of mounting feet that removably secure the assembly to the rungs of a stepladder. Braces extend from these feet to a boom that extends horizontally away from the rungs of the stepladder. A pulley or a winch may be attached to the base of the boom, near the rungs of the stepladder, and the boom extends away from the stepladder to facilitate safe and stable lifting of loads such as air-conditioner components.

Underwater operation platform and method for using the same

An underwater operation platform, including: a main body; two ducted propellers disposed at the tail end of the main body; a living building; pile legs; a tower crane; a submergence module; lifting devices; and a gantry crane. The main body includes a deck and a moonpool. The submergence module includes a support plate, a plurality of truss members, and a base plate. The living building disposed on the front end of the deck. The pile legs are disposed at the four corners of the main body, respectively. The deck includes two parallel pathways which are located at two sides of the moonpool, respectively, for supporting the gantry crane. The lifting devices are disposed on the deck and are close to four corners of the moonpool. The support plate and the base plate are integrated with the plurality of truss members.

A portable crane for removable attachment to a safety rail system. The portable crane attaches to one or more guide rails on the safety rail system and is configured to raise and lower payloads without obstructing the roof hatch. The portable crane includes a planar ballast platform that lays flat on a roof, a winching mechanism affixed to a vertical post, and a boom extending at an angle from the vertical post. A pulley at an end of the boom permits the raising and lowering of a payload through the roof hatch. The ballast platform and vertical post may be removably attached to the guide rails with one or more U-bolts.

Portable hoist arm assembly
10112806 · 2018-10-30 ·

A portable hoist arm assembly for coupling to an existing vertical support includes a pair of bars, a pair of first couplers, and a pair of contractors. The bars are pivotally coupled proximate to first termini of the bars. The first couplers are configured to couple to a vertical support. Each contractor is coupled to and extends between a respective first coupler and an associated bar proximate to the first terminus. The bars are configured to be positioned so that second termini of the bars abut the vertical support. A first bar extends substantially perpendicularly from the vertical support. A second bar extends angularly and downwardly from the first bar to the vertical support. The contractors are positioned to contract to couple the bars to the vertical support. A connector is coupled to the first bar proximate to the first terminus and is configured to couple to a hoist line.
