Frame for trenchless pipe replacement system and method
A pipe replacement system and cable guide frame are shown. Configurations are shown that include plurality of guide pulleys attached to the cable guide frame to define a curved path between a pipe to be replaced and a cable pulling system. Configurations are shown where a pipe breaking tool is pulled over the plurality of guide pulleys for ease of removal after a replacement operation. Configurations are also shown that include a stationary splitter adjacent to the cable pulling system to prevent jamming of the cable pulling system.

A crane with a pivotal boom. The crane has a first and a second main hoisting system, which main hoisting system are configured for independent operation. Each system comprises a hoisting cable, an upper sheave block, a hoisting block assembly suspended from the upper sheave block by the hoisting cable in a multiple fall configuration, and a hoisting winch. The upper sheave blocks of the first and second main hoisting systems are each independently pivotable about a common pivot axis relative to the boom. Each hoisting block assembly comprises a hoisting block body, multiple fixed sheaves that are fixed on the hoisting block body, and multiple disconnectable sheave members, each disconnectable sheave member comprising a frame and at least one sheave rotatably supported by the frame.

DOUBLE-REEVED LIFTING DEVICE WITH AN IMPROVED PAWL-LOCKING MECHANISM
A double-reeved lifting device includes a lower reeve block secured to a lifting hook and an upper reeve block, wherein the two reeve blocks are part of a mechanical reversible connection system to be reversibly configurable between a connected configuration and a disconnected configuration, with a locking mechanism and a complementary locking structure supporting a locking member. The locking mechanism includes a chassis having a locking channel provided with a mouthpiece through which the locking member can enter and exit and can slide in the locking channel respectively during a relative approach and distancing between the two reeve blocks. A pawl is pivotally mounted on the chassis to pivot inside the locking channel and is provided with a free end capable of being engaged with the locking member. A thrust stop assembly and elastic return member push on the pawl.

Hoisting and tensioning bearing saver
A sheave assembly for use in a handling system or tensioning system, the sheave assembly having one or more sheaves arranged about a shaft and cone sub-assembly. The shaft and cone sub-assembly may include one or more pairs of bearing cones configured to interface with a plurality of bearing rollers to facilitate rotation of the one or more sheaves about the shaft and cone sub-assembly. The shaft and cone sub-assembly may be configured to be arranged in a fixed rotational position during handling or tensioning operations. The shaft and cone sub-assembly may further be configured to be rotated or repositioned about a central, longitudinal axis of the sub-assembly. The shaft and cone sub-assembly may be configured to rotate independent of the sheave(s) so as to reposition the one or more pairs of cones with respect to applied loading on the sheave assembly from the handling or tensioning operations.

DOUBLE PULLEY, RESCUE DEVICE COMPRISING SUCH DOUBLE PULLEY AND METHOD FOR USING SUCH RESCUE DEVICE
A rescue device includes a pulley includes a support flange with two rotation shafts mounted salient and extending in a first direction. Two sheaves are mounted rotatable around two rotation shafts to define a running line of a cable. Two flanges are mounted rotatable between a first position and a second position. A first blocker is configured to present a first position blocking the first flange in the closed position and a second position allowing rotation of the first flange. A second blocker is configured to present a first position blocking the second flange in the closed position and a second position allowing rotation of the second flange. The second blocker is independent from the first blocker.

SIMULTANEOUSLY OPPOSITELY ROTATING SHEAVES
Simultaneously oppositely rotating sheaves, or a chain fall, has a two sheaves upon a hexagonal axle. The first sheave receives a first line clockwise and the second sheave receives a second line counterclockwise. Upon turning the axle, the sheaves handle the lines oppositely. A signal unit regulates power delivered from a power unit to at least one motor. The power unit is preferably a battery or alternatively another source. The motor turns a gearbox that engages the axle cooperating with the sheaves. The chain fall includes an anti-two block per line. Preferably, a pulley has two outer plates and two inner plates on stubs with the first line in the center and the two second lines between an inner plate and an outer plate. A first plate and a spaced away second plate contain the components of the invention in compact form for usage by a crane.
