SYSTEM FOR INTERCEPTING AND COLLECTING CLEANING BODIES BY ALTERNATING SWEEPING
The invention concerns a system for intercepting and collecting bodies in a flow of a fluid, comprising: a pipe portion (18) comprising an inner face that defines an axial inner passage for the flow, a filtering surface (25) including an upstream face (25a) and extending transversely in the passage so as to intercept, by its upstream face, bodies conveyed by the flow whilst leaving exposed a plurality of collection openings (26a, 26b) between the filtering surface and the inner face, a cleaning device (30) that is arranged across from the upstream face (25a), the device (30) and the filtering surface (25) being in motion with respect to one another such that each zone of the upstream face is mechanically swept by the device during each alternating relative back and forth movement in order to orient the bodies intercepted by the upstream face (25a) toward the collection openings for said bodies.
Filter Cloth Recovery Device and Copper Rod Continuous Casting and Rolling Manufacturing System Using the Same
Provided are a filter cloth recovery device and a copper rod continuous casting and rolling manufacturing system using the same. This device includes a cleaning water tank, a winding mechanism and a cleaning mechanism provided on the cleaning water tank. The winding mechanism includes: a winding shaft provided on the cleaning water tank for winding a filter cloth after being cleaned; a first guiding roller for guiding a filter cloth to be cleaned into a cloth-transmitting path within the cleaning water tank; and a second guiding roller between the first guiding roller and the winding shaft along the cloth-transmitting path for providing a tension force to the filter cloth. One end of the winding shaft is connected with a driving mechanism. The cleaning mechanism is provided with multiple liquid spraying openings for spraying a cleaning fluid to the filter cloth located in the cloth-transmitting path during winding.
Filtration apparatus and filter washing method therefor
A filtration apparatus includes: a cylindrical filter element formed in a cylindrical shape to filter a target fluid guided through an one end opening of the filter element in such a manner that the target fluid passes in a direction from an inside toward an outside of the filter element; a backwashing mechanism drawing the filtered fluid in a direction from the outside toward the inside of the filter element; a high-pressure washing mechanism injecting a high-pressure fluid so as to pass through the filter element in the direction from the inside toward the outside of the filter element; and a rotary drive mechanism rotating the backwashing mechanism and the high-pressure washing mechanism around an axial line of the filter element in an internal space of the filter element.
SELF-CLEANING FILTER
A self-cleaning filter includes a housing disposing a filter media having a permeable sidewall and an axial bore connected with the inlet conduit, a sleeve connected in-line with the axial bore and downstream of the inlet conduit, and a shuttle having a piston moveably disposed in the sleeve and an upstream element carrying a scraper disposed with the axial bore, whereby the hydraulic fluid flows from the inlet conduit through the permeable sidewall into the housing annulus and the hydraulic pressure in the axial bore applies a downward force on the shuttle. The scraper is moved downstream within axial bore to clean the filter media when the downward force due to the increased differential pressure across the filter media exceeds an upstream shuttle force.
Rake system and method
A rake system and method may include a framework, a chain, an elongated rail, a support arm, and an engagement feature. The elongated rail may be pivotably connected to the framework. The support arm may be connected to the elongated rail at a first point and may be pivotably connected to the framework at a second point. The engagement feature may be connected to the support arm and may be configured to engage the chain. The rake system may be configured to discard debris.
RAKE SCREENS AND NOVEL COMPONENTS THEREFOR
Rake systems for cleaning water streams and new and novel components for such rake systems.
Thin plate apparatus for removing debris from water
A product that is an apparatus for removing debris from water containing such debris using a perforated plate, a backer plate, and a skimmer, positioned adjacent the back of the perforated plate to provide a means of removing debris from the perforated plate without scraping the debris from the perforated plate, the skimmer bar and the backer plate being synchronized in their movement.

TRASH RAKE SYSTEM WITH ARTICULATED RAKE HEAD ASSEMBLY
A trash rake system with an articulated rake head assembly is provided. The trash rake system includes a main unit, a telescoping boom attached to the main unit, and a rake head assembly attached to an end of the telescoping boom. The rake head assembly includes a base frame, a drive arrangement mounted to the base frame, and a rake head mounted to the drive arrangement. The drive arrangement includes at least one gear arranged to mesh with a rack gear mounted to a rack which is in turn mounted between a fixed member and a movable member of the telescoping boom.
Grid Bar for a Bar Screen of a Filter Unit, and Filter Unit Equipped Therewith
The invention relates to a grid bar for a screen grid (2) of a screen (3) comprising a multiple number of grid bars (1) arranged next to each other and spaced apart from each other, which serves the purpose of separating screening material from a flowing liquid, such as wastewater (5) flowing in a sewer channel (4). In accordance with the invention, it is proposed that the grid bar (1) consists, at least partially, of a plastic reinforced with fibers (6), whereas at least a part of the fibers (6) extend in a longitudinal direction of the grid bar (1). In addition, a screen (3) with a corresponding screen grid (2) is proposed.
