FILTER ASSEMBLIES UTILIZING FULL CROSS-SECTION

A filter assembly comprises a filter housing defining an internal volume having an inner cross-section defining an inner cross-sectional distance, the filter housing having a base and a sidewall. A filter element is disposed within the internal volume. The filter element comprises a filter media pack at least a portion of which has an outer cross-section defining an outer cross-sectional distance that is substantially equal to the inner cross-sectional distance of the internal volume of the filter housing. A support structure is coupled to at least one longitudinal end of the filter media pack.

NON-CIRCULAR FILTER CORE AND ROLLING METHOD THEREOF

A rolling method of a non-circular filter core has the following steps. Adhere together a wavy filtering sheet and a flat filtering sheet. Coat an edge-sealing adhesive layer. Roll the filtering sheets. By having the edge-sealing adhesive layer with sufficient volume and width coated on a site where the filtering sheets are folded for a first time before folding, the leading edges of the filtering sheets are buried in the edge-sealing adhesive layer simultaneously after folded. As a result, the leading edges are adhered and sealed reliably to prevent fluid bypassing. The method is simple and fast, which improves efficiency and is suitable for full automation. The method further improves efficiency after fully automated by reducing an amount of production equipment that needs to be paused for manual operation and by reducing the waiting time for the manual operation.

Particle separator filter with an axially extending flow face

A two-stage separator system having a housing extending between a first end and a second end. The housing defines a housing inlet, a separator outlet towards the second end, and a filtration outlet on the first end. A filter assembly has a first sheet of filter media coupled to a second sheet of filter media mutually defining a plurality of flutes extending in an axial direction. The filter assembly defines an inlet flow face and an outlet flow face. The filter assembly is disposed in the housing and coupled to the housing about the filtration outlet such that the outlet flow face is in fluid communication with the filtration outlet. The inlet flow face of the filter assembly has an axial flow face length.

A method for controlling display of information on a display device includes storing information corresponding to a broadcast program guide. When a signal is received based on activation of a specific key while the first broadcast program is displayed on a screen, information on the first broadcast program and information on a second program to be broadcast after the first broadcast program is detected. The first broadcast program is then displayed in a first region of the screen simultaneously with the information on the first broadcast program and the information on the second broadcast program in a second region of the screen.

Air filter having fluted filter media

An air cleaner includes a housing and an access cover. The internal volume of the housing can be reached through an opening in a side wall of the housing. A filter element having fluted filter media is removable and replaceable from the air cleaner. The housing is constructed and arranged to cam the element into sealing engagement with the housing. The access cover includes structure to help support and ensure proper seating of the filter element within the housing. A method of installing the filter element in the air cleaner includes sliding a portion of the filter element against a slide surface in the housing. A method of servicing an air cleaner includes tilting the filter element against a tilt surface in the housing to release a seal between the filter element and the housing. The filter element can have a handle to assist in servicing of the air cleaner. The housing can have a window to allow visual inspection of the internal component of the housing and to determine visually whether a filter element is installed therein.

Filter elements; air cleaner; assembly; and, methods

A filter element, a safety element and fluid cleaner assembly. The fluid cleaner assembly generally includes a housing having a cover and a primary fluid cleaner section. The element generally comprises z-filter media, arranged in a straight through configuration, and an axial seal gasket positioned to extend continuously around at outer perimeter of the straight through flow construction. The fluid cleaner assembly can have a precleaner positioned therein. Methods of assembly and use are provided.

Filter assembly

A filter assembly includes a body of filter media, a seal, and a compression ring. The body of filter media having a first end surface, a second end surface spaced apart from and opposing the first end surface, and an outer surface extending between the first end surface and the second end surface. The seal surrounds the first end surface. The compression ring is disposed about the second end surface. The compression ring includes a first channel configured to allow fluid communication between the second end surface and the outer surface.

Filter cartridges; air cleaner assemblies; housings; features components; and, methods

Air cleaner assemblies, components, and features are described. The features can be used to provide that the air cleaner assembly includes a housing and cover within which a filter cartridge having a media pack and a seal arrangement surrounding the media pack can be installed. The air cleaner assembly may also include a projection-receiver arrangement in which the filter cartridge has at least one first member and the housing has at least one second member that interacts with the first member. In one example, a portion of the seal arrangement is coplanar with the first member and a portion that is below the first member such that the first member is located between the seal arrangement and an inlet end of the filter cartridge.

Filter cartridges; air cleaner assemblies; housings; features; components; and, methods

According to the present disclosure, features, components and techniques useable for providing air cleaner arrangements are provided. Many of the features relate to an axial seal arrangement provided on a filter cartridge. A typical filter cartridge, for use with these features, is a filter cartridge having opposite flow ends. Example media arrangements that fit this characterization are described. Seal arrangements provided with an axial housing sealing engagement surface are shown. A seal arrangement is provided with variations therein, to advantage. These variations can be in either or both of an outer peripheral edge surface and a housing seal engagement surface. Also, air cleaner assemblies having advantageous features therein are provided. Further, air cleaner housings are described, with selected, preferred features for engagement with filter cartridges.
