FOAM PRODUCING METHOD, FIRE EXTINGUISHING METHOD, AND APPLIANCE FOR FOAM EXTINGUISHING
A foam production method includes mixing liquid nitrogen with a foaming material to produce foam. A gas is produced in situ from liquid nitrogen. As the ratio of the volume of the gas produced by gasification of liquid nitrogen to the volume of the liquid nitrogen is relatively high, when a large gas supply flow is needed to generate a large foam flow, a liquid nitrogen storage device of a small volume can be used instead of bulky air supply devices such as high-pressure gas cylinders, air compressors, air compressor sets and the like, reducing the volume of the air supply device. In addition, the liquid nitrogen used in foaming will release nitrogen gas after the foam blast, such that the nitrogen is also able to inhibit combustion on the surface of burning materials, accelerating the extinguishing of the fire.
STIRRER
A stirrer is provided such that a fluid being processed can be more efficiently shown by way of the action of an intermittent jet flow and processing capacity can be improved. The stirrer concentrically includes a rotor that includes a plurality of flat vanes and that rotates, and a screen that is place around the rotor. The screen includes a plurality of slits in the circumferential direction thereof, and screen members that are positioned between adjacent slits. The fluid being processed is discharged by rotation of the rotor from the inside of the screen to the outside as an intermittent jet flow through the slits. The width of the distal working face on the distal end of the vane in the rotational direction is smaller than the width of the basal end of the vane in the rotational direction.
STIRRER
A stirrer is provided that can more efficiently achieve shearing applied, by an action of an intermittent jet flow, to a fluid to be processed. The stirrer concentrically includes a rotor including a blade, a partition wall, and a screen, wherein: the screen includes a plurality of slits in a circumferential direction thereof and screen members located between the adjacent slit; by rotating at least the rotor of the two components, the fluid to be processed is discharged from the inside to the outside of the screen as the intermittent jet flow through the slit of the screen; the screen has a cylindrical shape having a circular cross section; an opening of the slit provided on the inner wall surface of the screen is used as an inflow opening; openings of the plurality of slits provided on the outer wall surface of the screen are used as outflow openings; and the width of the outflow openings in the circumferential direction is set to be smaller than the width of the inflow opening in the circumferential direction.
BEVERAGE MIXING BLOCK
A mixing block for mixing components of a beverage prior to the mixture reaching the tap, for improving the consistency of the mixed beverage as it leaves the tap. The invention is particularly effective when one of the components tends to settle out during storage. In the mixing chamber, one stream goes straight through and the other impinges from the side, to cause enhanced mixing.
MIXING AND DISPERSING APPARATUS
A mixing and dispersing apparatus includes a tank body, a stirring part, a dispersing part, and a driving part. The tank body has an accommodating cavity configured to accommodate materials. The stirring part is disposed in the accommodating cavity and configured to mix the materials in the accommodating cavity. The dispersing part is disposed in the accommodating cavity and includes a first cylinder and a second cylinder. The first cylinder has a first cavity in communication with the accommodating cavity, the second cylinder is located in the first cavity, and the second cylinder has a second cavity in communication with the accommodating cavity. The driving part is connected to the stirring part and the dispersing part. The materials mixed in the accommodating cavity flow into the second cavity and flow out after being dispersed in the dispersing part.
BLADELESS MIXER
A bladeless mixer for mixing a liquid, includes a cylindrical or truncated cone-shaped receptacle having an axis A and a radius R, the radius R being the shortest distance between the axis A and a side wall of the receptacle, the liquid to be mixed being placed in the receptacle and having an exposed surface at a height H measured along axis A; a member for tilting the receptacle such that axis A forms a non-zero-degree angle of up to 30° relative to the vertical direction; a member for imparting a rotational movement to the receptacle along axis A at an angular speed of rotation Ω; wherein the aspect ratio H/R of the height H to the radius R and the angular speed of rotation Ω are selected such that an inherent mode of inertia of the liquid has an unstable resonance when the receptacle is tilted and rotates.
FINE BUBBLE GENERATION DEVICE AND FINE BUBBLE GENERATION METHOD
A fine bubble generation device in one aspect of the present disclosure is a device that generates fine bubbles in a liquid by causing the liquid to pass through a porous element having many pores. In the fine bubble generation device, a differential pressure is applied between first and second sides of the element, and, by the applied differential pressure, the liquid disposed on the first side of the element is passed through the element and is jetted toward the second side to thereby generate fine bubbles. In this fine bubble generation device, the flow speed of the liquid during passage through the element is 0.009769 [m/s] or higher. The fine bubbles can thereby be generated efficiently.
Manufacturing method and manufacturing apparatus that includes blades having inclined surfaces for manufacturing a granulated body
A manufacturing method for a granulated body includes supplying powder agitated by a dry agitator to a wet agitator, and agitating the powder supplied from the dry agitator with a liquid component in the wet agitator by rotating blades that have inclined surfaces, so as to form a granulated body. The blades are rotated when the powder is supplied to the wet agitator from the dry agitator. The dry agitator agitates the powder in a dry state, and the wet agitator is positioned below the dry agitator. The wet agitator includes an agitation chamber and the blades rotating around a center axis orthogonal to a direction in which the powder is supplied.
INLINE STATIC MIXER
An inline static mixer includes an outer tube and an inner tube positioned inside the outer tube and arranged coaxially with respect to the outer tube with a space between the inner and outer tubes. The inner tube is operable to receive and convey a hydrocarbon stream and the outer tube is operable to receive and convey a diluent stream. At least one baffle extends from the inner tube toward the outer tube and through at least a portion of the space that is operable to generate a twisted diluent flow from the diluent stream. The twisted diluent flow and the hydrocarbon stream are mixed downstream of an outlet of the inner tube with the twisted diluent flow forming a boundary layer along an internal surface of the outer tube to minimize fouling from liquid or liquid droplets of the hydrocarbon stream after mixing.
