Inorganic fiber sheet, honeycomb molded body and honeycomb filter
This inorganic fiber sheet contains a glass fiber as a main component, while containing 3 to 20% by mass of an organic fiber having an aspect ratio of 300 to 2000 with respect to a total amount of the inorganic fiber sheet.
PACKAGING MATERIALS
The use of a palladium-doped zeolite for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds is described wherein the zeolite has a CHA framework type and is polymer-bound. Such zeolites have been found to have particular utility as packaging materials for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds, such as those originating from organic matter.
NATURAL ZEOLITE BLOCK FOR IMPROVING WATER QUALITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A natural zeolite block for improving water quality that is capable of being built in rivers, streams, and reservoirs having point and non-point pollutant sources to purify the water polluted by pollutants, to remove the eutrophication in the water to prevent the occurrence of green and red tides, and to consistently purify heavy metals and all kinds of harmful substances flowing into the water and to a method for manufacturing the same.
METHOD FOR GAS SEPARATION
A method for separating at least one hydrocarbon from a feed containing a mixture of at least one hydrocarbon and nitrogen, comprising contacting the feed with an adsorbent comprising a porous support wherein the porous support comprises exchangeable cations and at least a portion of the exchangeable cations are organic cations.
BIOPOLYMERIC WATER TREATMENT
A method of water treatment includes providing water that includes at least one contaminant. An effective amount of at least one filter media is added to the to the water that includes at least one contaminant. The water and the at least one filter media are agitated to form a homogeneous mixture. A cationic biopolymer is added to the homogeneous mixture of water and the at least one filter media. The water is separated from the at least one contaminant and the at least one filter media.
SORBENT POLYMER COMPOSITES INCLUDING PHOSPHONIUM HALIDES, FLUE GAS TREATMENT DEVICES AND FLUE GAS TREATMENT METHODS UTILIZING THE SAME
Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a device comprising a sorbent polymer composite and at least one phosphonium halide. In some embodiments, the device is configured to treat a flue gas stream. In some embodiments, the flue gas stream comprises oxygen, water vapor, at least one SOx compound, and mercury vapor. Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method comprising treating the flue gas stream by: passing the flue gas stream over the device, reacting the oxygen and water vapor of the flue gas stream with the at least one SOx compound on the sorbent polymer composite, so as to form sulfuric acid, and reacting the mercury vapor with the at least one phosphonium halide, so as to fix molecules of the mercuiy vapor to the sorbent polymer composite.
ADSORBENT BED WITH INCREASED HYDROTHERMAL STABILITY
Disclosed in certain embodiments are methods of removing water from a gas feed stream comprising hydrocarbons and water during an adsorption step of an adsorption cycle.
Composition for packaging electronic device, packaging method, and OLED display apparatus
A composition for packaging an electronic device comprises a matrix and an adsorption material having a water vapor adsorption capability, and the adsorption material includes attapulgite and/or zeolite. By adding attapulgite and/or zeolite which have an adsorption effect to modify the formulation of the frit, the compositions for packaging an electronic device can effectively reduce the influence of water vapor on the electronic device, thereby effectively extending the lifetime of the packaged electronic device.
METHOD FOR PREPARING CHLORINE GAS THROUGH CATALYTIC OXIDATION OF HYDROGEN CHLORIDE
A method for preparing chlorine gas through catalytic oxidation of hydrogen chloride is carried out by one-time hydrogen chloride feeding and multi-stage oxygen feeding, one-time oxygen feeding and multi-stage hydrogen chloride feeding, or both, returning a product gas stream without separation thereof, and optionally carrying out heat insulation means. In the present invention, excessive reaction heat concentration is prevented, therefore, the method of the present invention is a chlorine gas recovery method implemented through the Deacon catalytic oxidation of hydrogen chloride that may be industrialized.
Airborne Dust Reducing Granular Absorbent Blends
A multicomponent granular absorbent blend formed of at least a plurality of components with at least one of the components formed of smectite-containing, preferably bentonite-containing, absorbent granules, and at least one other of its components formed of absorbent granules comprised of an extrudate. Such an extruded-containing absorbent granule component can be a component formed of extruded pellets covered with an outer absorbent coating preferably composed of smectite, more preferably bentonite, and/or can be a component formed of extruded pellets used without any such smectite, preferably bentonite, outer coating producing uncoated absorbent granules which also are dust-adhering thereby reducing airborne dust in the multicomponent blend. Such a component composed of uncoated dust-adhering absorbent granules can be formed of extruded splayed pellets having at least one lobe and/or fibrillated tendrils enhancing both absorption and dust pickup in the multicomponent blend.
