Vented container assembly
Container assemblies (100) that transition between a sealing state and a retained venting state are described. The container assemblies each include a body portion (110) having an open end (113), and a lid portion (120) adapted to cover the open end of the body portion to create an enclosed volume, e.g. reservoir, and additionally comprise a venting feature (140). When the fluid pressure within the enclosed volume is less than a threshold pressure, the lid portion is in a sealing state such that the lid portion and the body portion cooperate to maintain a substantially fluid-tight seal against fluid leaving the enclosed volume. When the fluid pressure is greater than or equal to the threshold pressure, the lid portion is in a retained venting state such that the excess fluid pressure from the enclosed volume vents through the venting feature while retaining the lid portion on the body portion.
Resilient fluid housing
A high pressure capable fluid sprayer includes a piston pump, a main pump housing, and a spray tip. The piston pump has a piston disposed to pump a fluid. The spray tip has an outlet aperture configured to atomize and spray the fluid. The main pump housing is formed of compliant plastic and rated for at least 1600 psi, defines a main pump chamber surrounding the piston, and is disposed to receive fluid from a fluid source.
Paint can adapter for handheld spray device
An adapter (14) allows direct connection of a handheld spray device (10) to paint cans (12, 12A, 12B, 12C), of varying dimensions. The adapter (14) includes a cage (60) for holding the paint can (12, 12A, 12B, 12C), a cap (62) that connects the cage (60) to the handheld spray device (10), and a gasket (64) that seals the open upper end of the paint can (12, 12A, 12B, 12C) to the cap (62). The adapter (14) may also include a suction tube extension 66 that is connectable between the pump inlet (52) and the suction tube (54) of the spray device (10).
LIQUID SUPPLY ASSEMBLY
A connector system for a liquid container system for a spray gun includes a lid that includes a liquid outlet and an adapter. The adapter includes a spray gun end and a lid end. The ends are connected with a liquid-tight passageway. Further, the spray gun end is adapted for releasable engagement with a liquid inlet port of the spray gun and the lid end is adapted for releasable engagement with the liquid outlet. The connector system also includes a plurality of interlocking tab assemblies for releasably attaching the adapter to the lid. Each assembly includes a first tab and a second tab, wherein an end of the first tab is adapted to secure the adapter to the lid when the first tab and the second tab are interlocked.
FLUID RESERVOIR FOR A SPRAY GUN WITH A VENTILATION DEVICE
A fluid reservoir for a spray gun, which fluid reservoir has a material outlet which is configured for the direct and/or indirect connection to a spray gun. The fluid reservoir includes a material container which is closed at least at one end face by a disk-shaped closing wall. A ventilation device is arranged on the outside of the closing wall. Advantageously, the closing wall is provided with a concavity which uniformly extends over the closing wall.
FLUID RESERVOIR FOR A SPRAY GUN WITH A SCREW CAP
A spray gun fluid reservoir has a material outlet which is configured for the direct and/or indirect connection to a spray gun. The fluid reservoir includes a material container and a screw cap closing the material container. During a detachable and fluid-tight connection of the material container and the screw cap and the forming of a screw connection, an edge region of the material container is to be arranged in a receiving groove at the screw cap. Advantageously, a central region of the screw cap, which adjoins the receiving groove, is designed as a continuation of at least a predominant part of an inner limb of the receiving groove.
HVLP SPRAY UNIT
A HVLP spray unit with an electric fan comprising a needle valve for metering the paint which is fed to an air cap, the needle valve comprising a valve body with an elongate interior space, a valve needle, a compression spring and a seal, the interior space between the seal and a nozzle opening of the valve body being configured as a paint chamber, into which a feed channel for the paint opens and which is flowed through by the paint during spray operation of the HVLP spray unit. Here, the interior space of the valve body is tapered between the feed channel and the seal in such a way that a needle guide is formed, and that, in a manner which lies opposite the paint chamber, the seal is arranged so as to bear against the needle guide.
ADAPTER FOR CONNECTING A FLUID RESERVOIR CAN TO A FLUID APPLICATOR
An adapter for communicating a fluid from a fluid reservoir can to a fluid applicator is disclosed. The adapter includes an inlet port, an outlet port, and a tapering central section. The inlet port includes an internally-threaded hollow cylindrical structure. The outlet port includes an externally-threaded hollow cylindrical structure coupled to and in fluid communication with the inlet port. An internal diameter of the inlet port is larger than an internal diameter of the outlet port. The tapering central section fluidly couples the internal diameter of the inlet port to the internal diameter of the outlet port and creates a fluid flow path there between. The inlet port is adapted to be fluidly coupled to an externally-threaded cap of the fluid reservoir can and the outlet port is adapted to be fluidly coupled to an internally-threaded fluid intake port of the fluid applicator.
Spray pot and paint spraying system
Provided is a spray pot which includes: a body; a detachable inner liner arranged in the body; a closing member which is arranged at the bottom of the inner liner, is in a closed state when the body is placed uprightly and fluid is injected into the inner liner, and is in an opened state when the body is inverted and the fluid is discharged from the inner liner; clamping portions arranged at a bottom of the body and configured to fix the closing member to the body; and a cover arranged at a top of the body, connected with a spray gun, and tightly matched with both the body and the inner liner.
READY-TO-USE HOSE END SPRAYER
A ready-to-use sprayer comprises a container defining an interior compartment for containing a liquid product and having a pin receiver located near the rear portion and an opening located near the front portion, a housing having a main chamber and a grip portion, a nozzle in selective fluid communication with the outlet of the fluid chamber, a pivot switch on the exterior of the housing for selecting a fluid flow condition for the main chamber, and the housing being coupled to the container at the container opening and the pin receiver.
