SHADING DEVICE FOR A WINDOW OF AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
A shading device including a shading structure displaceable in vehicle-fixed lateral guiding rails between a lowered rest position and a deployed shading position using a drive arrangement. The shading structure in the rest position is lowered down in a vehicle-fixed chamber through a passage, wherein the passage is closable by a cover movable between an open position and a closed position, and a control arrangement for opening and closing the cover is provided and coupled to a displacement movement of the shading structure. The control arrangement includes a control plunger engaging on the cover, which plunger is articulated to the cover in opposed pull and push directions. The control plunger is in operative connection with the cover via a tensioning arrangement which is spring-elastically tensioned in one movement direction and inactively relaxed in an opposite movement direction.
OPEN ROOF CONSTRUCTION FOR A VEHICLE AND ROLLO ASSEMBLY FOR USE THEREIN
An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a rollo assembly. The rollo assembly comprises a rollo screen and a winding shaft for the rollo screen which is rotatable around a stationary axis of rotation. The rollo screen firstly extends in a first direction, next around a reversal member and finally back in an opposite second direction and ends at a rollo screen edge which is attached to a stationary member. The rollo screen has two longitudinal edges which, when the rollo screen is wound off, are brought into engagement with holding members. The longitudinal edges of the rollo screen each comprise a hooking member insertable into a holding groove and hook behind a narrow entrance thereof. A reversal member is provided with a device acting on at least one of the hooking member and holding groove to enable the hooking member to enter and exit the holding groove.
Vehicle sunshade assembly
A sunshade assembly for a vehicle door includes a housing including a storage portion configured to support a retractor for a sunshade, and a guide portion configured to guide the sunshade into and out of the storage portion. The guide portion includes a first wall and a second wall extended from the storage portion. The first wall and the second wall together define an elongated first opening for extension of the sunshade from the retractor. A sunshade garnish includes a base wall having an elongated second opening aligned with the first opening. A mounting flange depending from the base wall flanks the first wall and is directly connected to an outer surface of the storage portion. A weather-strip support covered by the sunshade garnish includes a mounting tab flanking the second wall and directly connected to the outer surface of the storage portion.
Shading device for a transparent surface part of a motor vehicle
Shading device for a transparent surface part of a motor vehicle having a shading structure, two non-parallel lateral guide arrangements fixed with respect to the vehicle and flanking a displacement travel of the shading structure on opposite sides, and a pull-out profile which, at opposite face sides, is displaceable by in each case one guide carriage, lateral shading structure sections protruding, in a manner dependent on the displacement travel of the shading structure, into lateral receiving spaces fixed with respect to the vehicle and assigned to the guide arrangements. Each lateral guide arrangement and the associated receiving space are integrated in one housing structure fixed with respect to the vehicle and having a guide slot for the passage of the guide carriage from the pull-out profile to a drive device the guide slot running along the displacement travel of the shading structure and opening toward the latter.
Vehicle interior structures including curtain members
An interior structure includes a pillar garnish, a channel member, and a screen member. The pillar garnish is integral with a center pillar, and is formed with an opening facing a vehicle cabin and formed with a hollow housing section on the opposite side to the vehicle cabin. The channel member is provided so as to be capable of being housed in the housing section and capable of moving toward the vehicle cabin through the opening. The screen member is provided at the channel member so as to be housed in the housing section when in a non-deployed state and so as to be deployed in the vehicle cabin in a state in which the channel member has been moved into the vehicle cabin.
An Electric Spiraling Piston and Systems Devices Apparatuses and Methods Utilizing Same
Disclosed are an electric spiraling piston and systems, devices, apparatuses, and methods utilizing same. An electric spiraling piston includes a drum around which the piston spirals as it is being retracted. A spinning axis of the drum is functionally connected to the drive shaft of a motor, such that motor torque is relayed to the axis. The axis, when spinning with the drum in a first direction, causes the piston to un-spiral and extend out of a housing —while rounding its cross section — to assume a straight, rigid position/orientation. The Axis, when spinning with the drum in a second direction, causes the piston to be retracted back into the housing — while flattening its cross section — to assume a spiral orientation within the housing.
Roller blind arrangement for a motor vehicle
A roller blind arrangement for a motor vehicle may have a roller blind web which has guiding tapes on its lateral edges on either side of a longitudinal center plane of the roller blind, a winding shaft onto which the roller blind web can be wound or from which the roller blind web can be unwound and which comprises a flexible hollow tube arrangement penetrated by a vehicle-attached mounting beam and comprising a flexible middle tube which is provided with bearing bushes in a co-rotating manner on both ends, each guiding tape of the roller blind web being attached to one bearing bush. At least one of the bearing bushes can shift relative to the middle tube in the longitudinal direction of the hollow tube.
Insect protection arrangement for an opening in a mobile vehicle unit
An insect protection arrangement for an opening in a mobile vehicle unit. The insect protection arrangement includes a frame arrangement having two guide rails and at least one frame strip which connects the two guide rails. The at least one frame strip has an extendable insect protection screen which is guided movably in the two guide rails. Each of the two guide rails are connected to the at least one frame strip via a rotary joint.
SUNSHADE CURTAIN HAVING A TRANSLOCATION FUNCTION
A sunshade curtain having a translocation function has a curtain mechanism and a translocation mechanism. The curtain mechanism has a retracting shaft tube and a curtain mounted in the retracting shaft tube. The retracting shaft tube is capable of being rotated frontward and rearward. The curtain is capable of being pulled to extend out for shading the rear-side window. The translocation mechanism is mounted between the retracting shaft tube and a vehicle side wall in a vehicle. When the curtain mechanism is folded, the translocation mechanism makes the retracting shaft tube located adjacent to a side edge of a forward side pillar of the vehicle. When the curtain mechanism is unfolded, the retracting shaft tube is capable of being operated to be deflected toward a back of a forward side pillar to a normal position in a vertical state.
