VERTICALLY ACTUATING AUTOMATED TONNEAU COVER FOR TRUCKS
A tonneau cover system for a vehicle includes a cover, a scissor lift assembly, and an electric actuator. The scissor lift has a fixed arm for mounting to an inner side panel of a cargo bed of the vehicle and a plurality of movable arms coupled to the fixed arm for selectively raising and lowering the cover in dependence upon a distance between a drive point on one of the movable arms and the fixed arm. The electric actuator has an end anchored at a fixed position relative to the fixed arm and a second end coupled to the drive point. The actuator dynamically changes length under electrical power to be between an extended length and a retracted length thereby changing the distance between the drive point and the fixed arm. A controller control the electric actuator to change length in accordance with a user input signal.
Modular Containment System And Method
Disclosed is a system and method operable with a vehicle to selectively enclose a portion of the vehicle with a containment system. The containment system may be optional and/or configurable by a user. The containment system may be modular or configurable and may be used to cover any appropriate portion of the vehicle.
Modular Truck Cap Apparatus
An apparatus for covering at least a portion of a cargo area of a vehicle, the apparatus includes a frame; one or more side panels attached to the frame; one or more quarter panels attached to the frame; a rear panel; a roof panel supported by the frame; and a lifting mechanism configured to reposition the roof panel relative to the frame and/or the one or more side panels. The lifting mechanism has a handle, a lifter, and a track supporting the lifter. Movement of the handle causes the track to move in a first direction, which causes the lifter to slide in the track in a second direction to raise and/or lower the lifter, which causes the roof panel to be moved or repositioned.
Switch for platforms
A switch system for a moveable platform includes a track including an upper portion and a lower portion. A platform transition switch is connected within the track. The platform transition switch is configured to receive a wheel connected to a platform, and to transition the wheel between the upper portion and the lower portion.

An integrated bed optimization system comprises a dynamic frame which is integrated into the front and sides of a pickup truck bed. The frame can be raised and lowered to expand the bed's usable volume and to optimize cargo storage options. The frame comprises T-Track beams which permit the user to customize the bed by allowing the user to secure one or more attachments to the frame. The attachments can include tiedown points, storage racks, tonneau covers, camper shells, and other modular accessories.

A recess that the protrusion enters and that supports the protrusion from below is disposed in the cam groove and the open state of the upper unit is maintained by the protrusion entering the recess.

The assembly further includes an opening element adapted for, upon actuation, applying a force to at least one of the first ends of the hinge members in a second direction, which extends in an angle of between 85 and 90 degrees with respect to the first direction, to move the lid in the first direction.
