Plastic filler neck for vehicles
A plastic filler neck for vehicles includes a fuel injection pipe, a retainer inserted and fastened into an internal space of a tip of the fuel injection pipe to support a refueling gun, a cap holder directly fastened to the tip of the fuel injection pipe by fusion, and an air drain casing mounted, by a mounting bracket, to an outer diameter portion of the cap holder fastened to the fuel injection pipe.
APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING SHUT-OFF OF FUEL GUN IN FILLER PIPE OF FUEL TANK
Disclosed is an apparatus for controlling shut-off of a fuel gun in a filler pipe of a fuel tank which inhibits early shut-off of the fuel gun before the fuel tank is fully filled with fuel while refueling. The apparatus includes: a retainer mounted in a filler neck of the fuel tank; a partition disposed in a space between an inner circumferential surface of the filler neck and an outer circumferential surface of the retainer and having a fuel intake hole formed in a lower end of the partition; and an early shut-off prevention valve disposed in the partition. The early shut-off prevention valve closes the fuel intake hole before the fuel tank is fully filled with fuel, and opens the fuel intake hole by fuel flowing to the filler neck from the fuel tank when the fuel tank is fully filled with the fuel.
FUEL STORAGE DEVICE
A fuel storage device includes a fuel tank, a circulation passage, a canister, a vapor passage, and an adjuster. The fuel tank is configured to store fuel. The circulation passage fluidly connects the fuel tank and a vicinity of a fuel supply port. The canister is configured to recover gas generated in the fuel tank. The vapor passage fluidly connects the fuel tank and the canister. The adjuster is configured to adjust a circulation flow rate of the gas flowing through the circulation passage in supply of the fuel, using a negative pressure.
Fuel supply device
A fuel supply device includes an inlet pipe, a first end of the inlet pipe configured to be connected to an oil supply port and a second end of the inlet pipe configured to be connected to a fuel tank and an air flow path, an upstream side end of the air flow path configured to be open to the outside and a downstream side end of the air flow path configured to be connected to the fuel tank. The air flow path includes a negative pressure valve configured to move a valve body to open a valve port when the pressure in the fuel tank becomes a negative pressure and an air filter disposed upstream of the negative pressure valve.
FLUID TANK SYSTEM
A fluid tank that includes a housing. The housing includes a bottom wall, a top wall, and a side wall. The side wall couples the bottom wall to the top wall to define a cavity that receives and houses a liquid. A conduit guides liquid from a fluid source into the cavity. The conduit defines an inlet and an outlet. The outlet couples to the side wall. A vent coupled to the housing and to the conduit. The vent defines a vent inlet coupled to the housing and a vent outlet coupled to the conduit. The vent discharges gas from the housing into the conduit.
Method for detecting defective gas flow in a purge device vent line
A method for detecting defective gas flow in a vent line of a device for purging a fuel vapor absorption filter of a vehicle's internal combustion engine during filling the vehicle's tank with fuel from a filler nozzle having a venturi effect duct, so as to stop the filling when the duct is full of fuel. The vent line connecting the fuel tank to the filter. The tank having: a filler pipe, at the end of which is a stopper designed so that, during filling with fuel from the filling nozzle, fuel vapors are evacuated through the vent line. At least one gauge measures fuel volume in the tank. The detection method continuously measuring the volume of fuel in the tank during filling and comparing a volume profile thus measured with respect to time against a predetermined volume profile. A defective flow detected if the two profiles do not match.
REFUELING PORT
Provided is a refueling port which can be manufactured at low cost. A refueling port includes: a refueling port main body made of resin; an inlet fitting formed in a tubular shape, arranged at an inlet opening of the refueling port main body, and having a groove on the outer peripheral surface; and a resin cover formed in a tubular shape, arranged on the outer peripheral side of the inlet fitting, having internal protrusions that engage with the groove of the inlet fitting in a tubular axial direction of the inlet fitting, and fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the inlet opening of the refueling port main body.
Nozzle guide
An object is to enhance the assembly of a breather pipe which is accommodated in a filler pipe. A nozzle guide (10, 10a, 10b) that is arranged within a filler pipe (110) includes: a main body portion (20, 20b) that guides the insertion and removal of a refueling nozzle (150); and a connection member (50, 50a to 50c) that is provided on an outer circumferential surface (27) of the main body portion (20, 20b) and in which an upper end portion (51) of the connection member is located, in a tank direction (TD) extending from a refueling port (FC) toward a fuel tank (FT), on a downstream side with respect to a tip end portion (152) of the refueling nozzle (150), and the connection member (50, 50a to 50c) includes: a connection portion (52, 52a) connected to a breather pipe (120) that is arranged within the filler pipe (110); and a vapor flow path formation portion (55, 55b, 55c) that forms part of a vapor flow path (220) for the fuel vapor that flows in through the breather pipe (120) and the connection portion (52, 52a).
