An evaporative emissions isolation module system configured to manage venting on a fuel tank system is disclosed. The isolation module system includes a carbon canister, a multi-valve assembly and a controller. The carbon canister is adapted to collect fuel vapor emitted by the fuel tank and to subsequently release the fuel vapor to the engine. The multi-valve assembly includes a motor drive that rotates a camshaft having at least a first cam and a second cam housed in a manifold. The multi-valve assembly has a first valve and a second valve. The first valve selectively fluidly connects the fuel tank and the carbon canister. The second valve fluidly connects the carbon canister with a vent port defined in the manifold that vents to atmosphere. The controller sends signals to the multi-valve assembly based on operating conditions to open and close at least one of the first and second valves.
EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS FUEL TANK VENTING SYSTEM WITH DRAIN PUMP
A vent shut-off assembly configured to manage venting on a fuel tank configured to deliver fuel to an internal combustion engine includes a first liquid vapor discriminator (LVD), a main housing, a poppet valve assembly, a pump and an actuator assembly. The first LVD is disposed in the fuel tank. The main housing selectively vents to a carbon canister. The poppet valve assembly has a poppet valve arranged in the main housing. The pump selectively pumps liquid fuel from the main housing. The actuator assembly is at least partially housed in the main housing and includes a cam assembly having a cam shaft that includes a first cam and a second cam. The first cam has a profile that one of opens and closes a poppet valve fluidly coupled to the first LVD. The second cam has a profile that actuates the pump.
Evaporated fuel treatment device
An evaporated fuel treatment device includes a fuel tank that stores fuel for an internal combustion engine, a canister that adsorbs evaporated fuel generated in the fuel tank, a pump that pressurizes and depressurizes a diagnostic target system including the fuel tank, a pressure detection unit that detects pressure in the diagnostic target system, a fuel state detection unit that detects a state of the fuel in the fuel tank, a leakage diagnosis unit that diagnoses leakages of evaporated fuel from the diagnostic target system, the diagnostic target system based on a change in a detection value detected by the pressure detection unit when the pump pressurizes or depressurizes the diagnostic target system, and a diagnosis determination unit that determines whether the leakage diagnosis unit performs the diagnosis based on a change in a state detection value detected by the fuel state detection unit.
OPENING DEVICE FOR UREA WATER INLET OF VEHICLE
An opening device for a urea water inlet may include a first body configured to be provided on an external side of an inlet of a urea filler neck; a second body disposed at an upper end portion of the first body with a ventilation gap between the first body and the second body, and provided with an internal space to be disposed above the inlet; a cover disposed at an upper end portion of the second body, and configured to receive a force to open the internal space of the second body; an opener provided in the second body, and configured to hold the cover at the upper portion of the second body when the cover is configured to close the internal space, and to release holding of the cover when being pressed toward an interior of the second body; and a membrane disposed between the first body and the second body to pass only air therethrough while covering the ventilation gap.
AN INDOOR SAFETY DEVICE, A LIQUEFIED FUEL GAS SYSTEM AND A VEHICLE
The invention relates to an indoor safety device for a liquefied fuel gas system, the system comprising a storage device storing liquefied fuel gas; a vent member arranged in fluid communication with the gas inside the storage device; and a safety valve arranged to evacuate gas when the pressure inside the storage device exceeds a predetermined first value, the safety device comprising: a vent coupling; a pressure relief valve arranged downstream of the vent coupling; and a conduit for conveying gas, adapted to be connected to the pressure relief valve, the safety device being removably connected to the system by connecting the vent coupling to the vent member, wherein the pressure relief valve is configured to release gas when the pressure inside the storage device exceeds a predetermined second value, lower than the first value.
Cap assembly integrated with check valves
A cap assembly for a container comprises a cap and a body coupled to the cap. The body includes a peripheral wall and a valve seat. The valve seat includes a first side facing the cap and a second side facing away from the cap. A first check valve having an elastic valve body is positioned at the second side of the seat. A second check valve having an elastic valve body is positioned at the first side of the valve seat. When a pressure at the first side of the valve seat exceeds a pressure at the second side of the valve seat by a first predetermined value, the first check valve opens; and when the pressure at the second side exceeds the pressure at the first side by a second predetermined value, the second check valve opens.
Electronic fuel tank system having cam actuated venting with canister line isolation
An evaporative emissions control system configured to recapture and recycle emitted fuel vapor on a vehicle fuel tank is provided. The control system includes a first and second vent tube disposed in the fuel tank, a first and second vent valve, a vent shut-off assembly, a purge canister and a control module. The vent shut-off assembly selectively opens and closes the first and second valves to provide overpressure and vacuum relief for the fuel tank. The control module regulates operation of the vent shut-off assembly based on operating conditions to vent the first and second vent valves to the purge canister. The vehicle fuel tank comprises a saddle tank having first and second lobes and a raised portion arranged generally at a top portion of the fuel tank. The first vent valve is arranged generally in the first lobe and the second vent valve is arranged in the raised portion.
Fuel vapor processing device
A fuel vapor processing device includes a canister, a first purge pipe that forms a first purge path that communicatively connects the inside of the canister and the inside of a fuel tank, a pressure pipe that forms a pressure detection path configured to communicatively connect a first switching valve and a pump, the first switching valve, a sealing valve disposed in the first purge pipe and configured to isolate the inside of the canister from the inside of the fuel tank, a differential pressure sensor, and an ECU. The differential pressure sensor is capable of detecting a difference between a pressure of the first purge path and a pressure of the pressure detection path. The ECU determines presence or absence of a fuel vapor leak while controlling the first switching valve, the pump, and the sealing valve based on a signal output from the differential pressure sensor.
