FUEL CAP
For transmission of rotative operation on a lid body to a cap body, a transmission mechanism for mechanically coupling the lid body and the cap body transmits the rotative operation on the lid body to the cap body. If a pressure difference determined across a seal plate between a pressure in an inlet and a pressure outside the inlet becomes a predetermined pressure or more, the seal plate makes irreversible shape change. The irreversible shape change of the seal plate releases the transmission mechanism from the mechanical coupling to at least one of the lid body and the cap body, thereby cutting transmission of the rotative operation on the lid body to the cap body. Thus, a fuel cap to be provided is capable of notifying the occurrence of abnormality in a fuel system as physical feeling during operation on the fuel cap.
TANK CLOSURE
A closure component of a tank of a motor vehicle for closing a filler neck gas- and fluid-tight, having a closure fastened to a flap, the flap being fastened to a vehicle body of the motor vehicle such that it is movable into an open or closed position, the closure including a seal, which causes the closure to close against the filler neck. The tank closure should be easy for a user to handle and have a relatively simple design and be economical to manufacture. This is achieved in that the seal is electromechanically or pneumatically adjustable with the aid of an actuator.

Fuel tank assembly, motorcycle accessory, and method of attachment
A fuel tank assembly for a motorcycle. The fuel tank assembly includes a fuel tank defining a fuel containment volume. The fuel tank has an upper wall. A fuel cap is operable to selectively open and close the fuel containment volume. A motorcycle accessory is attachable to the fuel tank via a connection structure including first and second connection portions that are complementary and inter-engageable together to positively define a fully-secured state. The first connection portion is secured to an exterior surface of the upper wall of the fuel tank, and the second connection portion is secured to the motorcycle accessory. The connection structure defines a finite position and rotational orientation of the motorcycle accessory upon relative rotation of the motorcycle accessory with respect to the fuel tank to the fully secured state.
FUEL TANK CAP WITH CHARCOAL CANISTER
The fuel tank cap with charcoal canister includes a fuel tank inner cap and a fuel tank outer cap. A filling chamber is disposed in the fuel tank inner cap. The fuel tank outer cap wraps up the upper port of the filling chamber. The fuel tank inner cap has a volume chamber having an upper vent cap. Between the side wall of the upper vent cap and the inner wall of the volume chamber, there is an air gap. The filling chamber has a lower breathing panel. Between the lower breathing panel and the bottom of the filling chamber, there is a welding ring. The upper port is on the inner side of the welding ring. The lower surface of the lower breathing panel is fixed and connected with the filling chamber via the welding ring. The bottom surface of the volume chamber has an air inlet/outlet.
Cap with adsorption media
A fuel cap configured to be coupled with the opening of a fuel tank defining an interior for containing a volume of fuel. An inlet opening is configured to establish fluid communication with the fuel tank interior. An exit is in communication with a surrounding atmosphere, exterior to the fuel cap. A flow path is defined from the inlet opening to the exit. Adsorption media substantially fills the flow path and is configured to reduce the emission of VOC vapors through the exit to the surrounding atmosphere. The flow path extends spirally about an axis of the fuel cap from the inlet opening to the exit.
Filler neck for a fuel tank of a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a filler neck (1) for a fuel tank of a motor vehicle having at least one tubular section (3) provided in the region of the filler inlet (2) in order to receive the outlet pipe of a fuel delivery nozzle (5), and a flame barrier (4) which is provided in the tubular section (3) and surrounds the outlet pipe of the fuel delivery nozzle (5) in the inserted state, wherein the flame barrier (4) includes at least two segments (6) which are mounted resiliently in the radial direction of the tubular section (3), the diameter of the opening (7) in the flame barrier (4) for the outlet pipe of the fuel delivery nozzle (5) being smaller in the prestressed state of the segments (6) than the diameter of the outlet pipe of the fuel delivery nozzle (5).
VEHICLE LID DEVICE
A vehicle lid device includes a housing provided with a fuel filling aperture portion; a lid opening and closing an opening of the housing; and a link member connecting the lid to the housing to be openable and closable. The vehicle lid device includes a base member capable of axially supporting the link member to be turnable, and a depressed portion provided in the housing and capable of receiving the base member.
Fuel tank cap capable of capturing harmful vapors
A fuel tank cap includes a casing; a main chamber disposed in the casing; a vapor vent channel disposed in the casing and communicating with the main chamber; annular partition walls disposed in the main chamber and configured to divide the main chamber into troughs surrounding a central tunnel, each partition wall including a cut so that the troughs and the tunnel are capable of communicating with each other via the cut; activated carbon filled in the troughs; and a permeable plug disposed in the tunnel, which is made by wrapping rust-resistant flexible wires so that a plurality of intercommunicated air gaps are formed among the flexible wires. The vapor vent channel includes the cuts, the troughs and the air gaps. The activated carbon captures fuel vapors and absorbs VOCs in the fuel vapors when the fuel vapors pass through the vapor vent channel.
