FUEL TANK HAVING INLET CHECK VALVE
The present disclosure relates to a fuel tank comprising a filling tube opening via an inlet check valve into the fuel tank and comprising a venting device for discharging fuel vapors from the fuel tank. According to the present disclosure, the venting device has at least one venting line, which extends into the interior of the fuel tank and opens with an open end into a gas volume in the region of an upper wall part of the fuel tank, wherein the at least one venting line is guided such that it forms a siphon in the region of a lower wall part, and the inlet check valve has a bypass connection, to which the at least one venting line is connected.
FUEL FILLING DEVICE
A closing member includes a pair of flap members, and an urging device urging each flap member to be positioned at a closed position closing a near-side pass-through opening for a fuel filling nozzle. Each flap member includes a turning assembly portion which becomes a center of turning, and an abutment portion relative to the other of the flap members. A far-side pass-through opening for the fuel filling nozzle, and a guide slope face for the fuel filling nozzle, which is a slope face having an opening edge of the far-side pass-through opening as a slope lower end and a vicinity of the near-side pass-through opening as a slope upper end and formed on both sides of a directly underneath position including the directly underneath position of the abutment portion of the flap member located at the closed position, are formed on a far side of the closing member.
FUEL FILLING DEVICE
A fuel filling aperture device includes a closing member turned to an open position to open a fuel filling aperture by an introduction of a fuel filling nozzle. The closing member includes a pair of flap members, and urging devices urging the pair of flap members to be positioned at a closed position. Each of the pair of flap members includes a turning assembly portion which becomes a center of the turning, and an abutment portion relative to the other flap member. Also, a seal projecting piece abutting against an opening edge portion of a pass-through opening of the fuel filling nozzle at the closed position, and an edge projecting piece continuing to a terminal of the seal projecting piece, and forming at least one portion of the abutment portion, are formed on a surface portion of each of the pair of flap members.
Fueling device
A fueling device comprises a filler neck that is configured to form a fuel flow path, a cover member, and a restraint portion. An engagement projection provided as an engagement portion of the cover member is engaged with an engaged recess provided as an engaged portion of the filler neck, so that the cover member is mounted to the filler neck on an opening side of the fuel flow path. The restraint portion is configured to restrain the cover member including an engagement extension portion downstream of the engagement projection in the fuel flow path to an outer circumferential wall of the filler neck. This configuration suppresses expansion and deformation of the cover member and avoids separation of the cover member from the filler neck, while maintaining the mounting property of the cover member.
INLET END PIECE FOR THE TANK INLET OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is an inlet end piece for the tank inlet of a motor vehicle, having a closure insert arranged in an upper area of a pipe inlet, having a filling opening and a sealing flap which counter to the force of a closure spring by way of a gas pump nozzle is capable of being opened by pivoting, and is held in the closed state by the closure spring. The inlet end piece has an indicator means having an indicator area, wherein the indicator means in the case of a closed sealing flap is located in an inactive position in which an indicator area of the indicator means is not visible to the user, and in the case of the sealing flap being at least partially opened, the indicator means is displaced into a signal position in which the indicator area becomes visible.
Diesel fuel guard
A device is provided to prevent the accidental introduction of an incorrect liquid into a tank, such as the introduction of gasoline into the fuel system of a diesel fuel container. The device discriminates between nozzle diameters, allowing entrance of nozzle diameters at or greater than a predetermined minimum diameter while inhibiting entrance of nozzles having diameters less than the predetermined minimum diameter. A closure mechanism prevents access to a fuel container interior and a releasable locking mechanism responsive to nozzle diameters allows the closure mechanism to open and close to allow access to the fuel container interior.
Filling system on a motor vehicle, having at least two storage tanks for liquid or gaseous operating materials
A filling system on a motor vehicle, having at least two storage tanks for operating materials, comprising a tank closure cover which closes an opening in a body of the motor vehicle and is movable from a first position that closes the opening into a second position that releases the opening, wherein at least two filling openings of the storage tanks are arranged below the tank closure cover, a filler trough that forms an enclosure of the filling opening, wherein the filler trough closes the opening in the body and is fixed to the body; and at least one filler head, wherein the filling openings are formed as a part of the filler head, the filler head defining at least two mouth-hole necks which are combined to form a common component and are integrally connected to each other, each mouth-hole neck forming a filling opening for another storage tank.
Filler neck closure with drainage system
A fuel-tank filler apparatus includes a fuel-tank filler neck and a filler neck closure. A flapper door is provided to control access to a fuel-conducting passageway formed in the fuel-tank filler neck.
Valve device
A valve device, a ventilation device having the valve device, and a motor vehicle tank device having the ventilation device. The connection between a valve inlet of the valve device and a tank outlet is to be opened and closed by the tank valve, and a connection between the inlet and the filler pipe outlet may be opened and closed by the filler pipe valve.
Fuel tank system
An inter-flap space 36 between an outside flap 24 and an inside flap 44 of a filler pipe 16 is placed in communication with the inside of a fuel tank 14 using a communication pipe 62, and an open and close valve 64 is provided to the communication pipe 62. Further provided are a pressure reduction pump 82 that depressurizes the fuel tank 14, an internal tank pressure sensor 68 that detects an internal tank pressure of the fuel tank 14, and a controller that controls opening and closing of the open and close valve 64 and driving of the pressure reduction pump 82, and that determines an outside flap seal state of the outside flap 24 based on the internal tank pressure.
