Filler neck housing arrangement
A filler neck housing arrangement for mounting on a body opening of a motor vehicle includes a housing body (12) which forms a passage opening for the insertion of at least one tank filler pipe. An annular sealing and holding body (10) is configured for holding the sealing and holding body on the body opening and for holding the sealing and holding body on the housing body. The sealing and holding body includes a first sealing member which, in the state of the sealing and holding body being held on the body opening, lies in a sealing manner against a surface (30) of a body part (28) bounding the body opening, and a second sealing member which, in the state of the sealing and holding body being held on the housing body, lies in a sealing manner against the housing body (12).
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a fuel tank in which fuel gas is stored, a cargo bed provided at a rear portion of the vehicle and exposed to the outside of the vehicle, and a connection portion that is connectable to a fuel filling device installed outside the vehicle and supplies the fuel gas supplied from the fuel filling device to the fuel tank. The connection portion is arranged further inward than an outer end in the width direction of the cargo bed. The connection portion includes a filling port into which the fuel filling device is inserted, and the filling port is directed rearward.
Two-piece fuel filler tube assembly bracket
A fuel fill tube assembly for an associated vehicle comprises a tubular fill conduit, a receiver attached to the fill conduit, and a bracket mountable to a surface of the associated vehicle, the bracket is configured to be received by the receiver to thereby support the fill conduit relative to the associated vehicle.
Integrated fuel-mixing prevention device for diesel vehicle
Disclosed herein is an integrated fuel mixing prevention device for a diesel vehicle, in which a diesel filler neck and a urea filler neck are integrated with each other to prevent fuel from mixing, allowing only a diesel fuel filling gun to be inserted into a fuel inlet when a diesel fuel filling mode is selected and allowing only a urea filling gun to be inserted into the fuel inlet when a urea filling mode is selected, which may prevent a fuel mixing an accident caused by incorrect replenishment.
Vehicle component and motor vehicle
A vehicle component for a motor vehicle includes a coupling device including two couplable coupling elements configured to provide, in a coupled state, a fuel-tight connection of two fuel-conducting lines. One of the coupling elements is in a form of a metallic female element which is fixedly connectable to one of the two lines, and an other one of the coupling elements is in a form of a metallic male element which is fixedly connectable to an other one of the two lines. The male element, for coupling purposes, is insertable into the female element, wherein, in the coupled state, an axially extending overlap section with at least one radial seal device is formed between the female element and the male element. A securing device is configured to secure the coupling elements in the coupled state against inadvertent release from one another.
Pipe holder
A pipe holder for holding a pipe member at a vehicle body comprises a metallic member including a metallic clamp part that grasps and holds a portion of a fueling pipe to which a protection member is attached, and a metallic fixing part with a metallic engagement pawl part; and a resin clamp that, surrounds and holds the fueling pipe in a peripheral direction with the fueling pipe being grasped by the metallic member. The resin clamp comprises: a first resin member including a first clamp part; and a second resin member including a second clamp part facing the first clamp part and a resin fixing part with a resin engagement pawl part. The metallic engagement pawl part and the resin engagement pawl part are overlaid on each other to form an engagement unit. The engagement unit is engaged with an engagement opening of the vehicle body. When the engagement unit and the engagement opening are in engagement, a vertical lower end of a portion of the metallic engagement pawl part inserted into the engagement opening is located below a lower end of the engagement opening.
FUEL TANK FILL ASSEMBLY
A fuel tank fill assembly includes a fuel fill tube adapted to be coupled to a fuel tank and configured to receive fuel discharged by a pump nozzle. The assembly also includes a tube mounting bracket for mounting the fuel fill tube in a stationary position in a vehicle to conduct fuel to the fuel tank.
Adapter, Motor Vehicle and Method
An adapter is provided for securing a filling tube of a fuel container to a body of a motor vehicle. The adapter has a contact region for placement on the body and a first securing point for securing a first holder for the filling tube. This allows for it to be easily adapted to different vehicle body shapes.
SINGLE POINT FILLING FOR AN INDEPENDENT REFRIGERATION UNIT DRIVEN BY A SEPARATE ENGINE
A transport refrigeration system having: a refrigerated cargo space (119); a refrigeration unit (22) in operative association with the refrigerated cargo space, the refrigeration unit providing conditioned air to the refrigerated cargo space; a first engine (150) configured to power the vehicle; a second engine (26) configured to power the refrigeration unit; a first plurality of fuel tanks (350) fluidly connected to first engine, the first plurality of fuel tanks configured to supply fuel to the first engine; a second plurality of fuel tanks (330) fluidly connected to second engine, the second plurality of fuel tanks configured to supply fuel to the second engine; and a single filling point (310) fluidly connected to the first plurality of fuel tanks and second plurality of fuel tanks. The single filling point (310) is configured to receive fuel.
EARTH STRUCTURE FOR FILLER PIPE
An earth structure for a filler pipe includes a filler pipe; a tubular cover member in which an upstream end of the filler pipe is inserted and which defines a fueling port; an annular seal part interposed between the filler pipe and the cover member; and an earth member which is mounted an outer surface of the filler pipe and extends along a longitudinal direction of the filler pipe. The cover member is made of a conductive material, and the earth member is in contact with the cover member on a downstream side of the seal part. Since it is not necessary to dispose the earth member so as to pass through the seal part, the sealability between the filler pipe and the cover member improves.
