A seatback phone mount apparatus for securing a phone to a seatback includes a main base. A pair of expandable supports is coupled to a base left side and a base right side of the main base. Each expandable support slidably moves between a compressed position and an extended position. A pair of seat clips is coupled to the pair of expandable supports. Each seat clip is coupled to a distal end of each expandable support. The pair of seat clips selectively engages a pair of seat sides of a seatback. A neck is coupled to a base front side of the main base. A phone plate is coupled to the neck. A magnet is coupled within the phone plate to secure a cellphone to the phone plate.

Magnetic Device Mount for Attachment to Non-Ferromagnetic Material
20210387577 · 2021-12-16 ·

The invention relates to an apparatus with magnets of a unique configuration to secure devices to non-ferromagnetic material, such as the windshield of a car. The invention permits the perimeter structure of the non-ferrous material to optionally be used to provide additional stability to secured devices. At least two magnets clamp opposite sides of the non-ferromagnetic material, magnetically associating the two magnets. The magnets are of a shape conducive to avoiding collision with windshield wipers, when mounted onto a car windshield, while maintaining sufficient volume to provide acceptable magnetic force to support devices mechanically attached to magnets. Example attached devices include a phone, GPS, camera, or tablet.

VEHICLE SEATING SYSTEM

A vehicle seating system includes a seatback pivotally coupled to a seat base. The seatback is operable between an upright position and a reclined position. A lift assembly is operably coupled to the seat base. The lift assembly is operable between a disengaged position and an engaged position. A position sensor is coupled to the lift assembly via a ball joint, wherein the ball joint and the position sensor adjust with movement of the lift assembly. A seat controller communicatively is coupled to the position sensor, wherein the seat controller determines if the lift assembly is in the disengaged position or has moved to the engaged position based on position data received from the position sensor.

A system for mounting an object within a vehicle. The system has a housing, a pair of rotatable objects at least partially received within a respective opposed end of the housing, a pair of locking elements within the housing and movable between a locked position in which they exert a locking force against a respective rotatable object, and an unlocked position in which the locking element does not exert the locking force against the respective rotatable object. A handle extends from the housing and is coupled to the locking elements through a rigid linkage within the housing. The handle is pivotable between an extended position in which the handle moves the pair of locking elements via the rigid linkage to the unlocked position and a locked position in which the handle moves the pair of locking elements via the rigid linkage to the locked position.
